What's there NOT to love about this open-air weekly market? It's close, convenient, friendly, and there's always live music. The concierge stand will sell you a super-big, super-strong farmers market canvas bag for $7 and then every time you bring it to the market, you get a wooden token good for $1 worth of merchandise at any market stall. The market is open 20 weeks... do the math... you can MAKE MONEY on your spiffy bag! Everything has to be grown or made by hand in Washington state (and the market managers DO check). Vendors include: Acma Orchards Blue Cottage Jams CC's Bakery Cha New Life Garden Classic Kettle Corn Collins Family Orchards Essential Bakery Family Peppers & Produce Full Circle Farm Garden Treasures Hawaiian Shaved Ice Hayton Farms Kayeng Chen Flowers Magana Farms Martin Family Orchards Paula's Pepper Jelly Raft Island Roses Sidhu Farms Smith Brothers Dairy (monthly) The French Bakery The Old Farmer Val's Surroundings Honey Whitney Farms Willies Greens Yeng Garden Youngquist Farms

We stumbled upon this market. It was fairly small but had some produce available. I believe I might even saw a mushroom stand.

The overall layout was L-Shaped with lots of fresh from farm produce, food trucks and stalls, bakery items, artisan goods, etc. Most were quite busy with shoppers and eaters. A park was right next door where people could enjoy their food purchases or just hang out. We tried the strawberry ranier cherries (now in season) which were sweet but I couldn't quite discern the strawberry flavor. However we still picked up a bag along with a half flat of local strawberries. Turned out the cherries were a bargain compared to the grocery stores we stopped by later. The crowds started to increase so weaved our way out.

Pike Place is a massive food hall, craft market, and farmers' market. You can find just about anything in Pike Place. It is truly an amazingly magical spot, and there is nothing quite like it. You could spend days roaming through Pike Place and eating all of the amazing things each vendor, restaurant, and bakery has to offer. It's a Yelpers paradise! The selection is unmatched. The value is great. The service is prime. I think you could easily stay within a $100 budget for a family and feed everyone for the whole day in Pike Place Market. A day at Pike Place is not a day wasted, and no matter how many times you've been, you're sure to find something new.

Pike Place Market is one of Seattle's most iconic attractions and a place that offers much more…read morethan just a traditional public market. We walked in from the main entrance and immediately felt the energy, the kind of lively hum that comes from a space where vendors, visitors, and locals all move through at their own pace. The market stretches across different levels, and we found ourselves weaving through fresh seafood displays, produce stands, flower stalls, specialty food shops, cafés, and small businesses all packed into the historic building. There was always something happening no matter which direction we turned. One of the highlights was watching the fishmongers at Pike Place Fish Market throw fish across the counter. It is a fun tradition that draws a crowd throughout the day, and we stopped for a few minutes to watch the routine, the fish sailing through the air with practiced precision. Beyond that, there were plenty of food options to explore, from fresh seafood and baked goods to coffee, pastries, and local specialties. We wandered through the different stalls because every section seemed to offer something different, and it was easy to discover new places without having a specific plan. The market was also a great place to browse even when we were not looking for food. The flower stands were filled with colorful bouquets, and we noticed artisan vendors selling handmade products, small specialty shops offering everything from spices and honey to artwork and souvenirs. Since the market stretches across multiple levels and connected buildings, it felt much larger than it first appeared, and we found it easy to spend a few hours simply exploring. One thing to keep in mind is that Pike Place Market can become very crowded, especially on weekends and during the summer. We visited on a weekday morning, which made a noticeable difference. The main walkways can get congested around the most popular vendors, so visiting earlier in the day or on a quieter day makes it easier to explore at a more relaxed pace. Comfortable shoes are also a good idea since there is quite a bit of walking, especially if you venture into the lower levels or continue toward the nearby waterfront. Overall, Pike Place Market is one of the best places to experience Seattle's local culture in one location. The combination of fresh food, independent vendors, historic character, and lively atmosphere makes it worth taking your time rather than rushing through. Whether you come for a meal, to shop, or simply to explore, it is the kind of place where there is always something new to discover.

If you are unable to find street parking, Redmond Town Center offers a free parking garage that is only a short walk away, making parking convenient overall. I absolutely love the Redmond Saturday Market. It is one of my favorite places to visit on the weekends. They always have fresh produce with a great selection of fruits and vegetables, along with many local vendors selling handmade jewelry, artwork, baked goods, and other unique products. It is a wonderful place to support small businesses while enjoying the local community. One of my favorite things about Redmond is how walkable the area is. After visiting the market, you can walk around Redmond Town Center, browse the shops, grab something to eat, or simply enjoy the atmosphere. There are also plenty of seating areas throughout the town center, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy your food or take a break. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by the Redmond Saturday Market if you are in the area. It is a great way to spend a weekend morning, support local businesses, and enjoy everything that downtown Redmond has to offer.

It was cloudy out with a gentle breeze, perfect for a stroll through the market. There was live music to liven up the place under the gloomy skies. There were quite a few vendors selling beautiful vibrant flowers, lots of peonies. We were leaving in a couple of days, so didn't buy any. We found a bakery tucked in the far corner of the market with no line, but a line quickly formed behind us. They had so many pastries to choose from. I decided on a twice baked almond croissant, and my friend got the apple fritter which looked more like monkey bread. We took those back home to try. Unfortunately, the croissant was quite a letdown due to the texture. The other was not like a fritter (not fried). In hindsight, we should've tried heating them up.

Lots of Cherry choices already, they had me as soon as I saw the local (Yakima) Rainiers, one of my favorites! They also had a hybrid of the Rainier, that I had not heard of or experienced yet, a Strawberry Rainier.. a little sweeter with a different taste, maybe strawberry, but definitely tasty. The vendor had options of single or mixed choices of multiple cherries, I mixed the regular Rainiers with the Strawberry Rainiers, and am happy with selection, all just rightly ripe. I also picked up some Washington asparagus and canning cucumbers, both will be enjoyed with cooking dinners, and mixed in salads. Looking forward to adding more veggies next time. Also the strawberries looked great! All the vendors are friendly and easily answered questions, also for some produce sampling was allowed. Quite a few information booths and merchandise as well. Multiple options for food trucks and ice cream and pastries too. I tried, for the first time the Samsa's , best way they were described was a Pakistani pastry hand held pie, I tried the Chicken curry, which was very flavorful, plenty of meat, not spicy and delicious, and the Spinach vegan which was full of spinach, potatoes, and onions, also very delicious, probably my favorite of the two. Flaky buttery pastry in both was delicious, and held together well. Service was quick and friendly. Always love the atmosphere of the farmers markets, being on both sides of the table has always been enjoyable. Looking forward to some more fresh produce and trying more food next time. Also a great park to stroll around adjacent to where the market is. SYOY! God bless and healthy eating!

My friend picked up some fresh radishes, mushrooms and tasty homemade hummus from the various vendors in attendance. We also got a veggie panini from a griller vendor at the market. Overall, the market is on the small side focusing primarily on produce over products and other miscellaneous sometimes seen at the larger ones. This is kind of nice as there is a lower amount of foot traffic, but the options are more limited. Decent Farmers Market though if you have a fairly small list of things, you need without wandering too much.
