Milele Academy is located in the Next Level Fitness building entrance but on the right side. This two level space offers a plethora of classes from ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and many more that is suited for every dance and fitness level. First level has a large dance floor with mirrors, disco balls, a flat screen tv that played hip hop videos, lounging areas, and stage/platform that display several trophies. The second floor has a balcony that overlooks the first floor with a comfortable seating area, ballet room, and two gender neutral restrooms. They may have more but that is all I could see without opening doors or being too nosey. Overall it is a clean and comfortable environment. Parking on Church Street can be challenging at times. Luckily their are parking options: -There are a few spots in front of the Fitness Level-Milele Academy building, -Free street meter parking after 6pm, and -Free parking in the Metro Medical parking lot. Overall I enjoyed my experience and highly recommend Milele Academy to anyone who loves to dance and/or has a desire to learn professional choreography.

Milele Academy offers the best training in Nashville. They rotate teachers and bring in lots of…read moremaster teachers so dancers can get the best training available. Parents are allowed to watch there kids during class, and they have a great sound system, and lights.

We moved to the area a little over a year ago and he asked to take hip hop lessons. After some google searches I called and spoke with the owner and knew it would be a good fit for my son. He LOVES going every week and has learned some pretty snazzy moves. The price point is very reasonable and the costume fee is appropriate. There is a large variety of classes-including classes for adults. They rent out spaces for music lessons and there is also a musical theater that practices there.

After her first class: "Mom it's so hard, there's so many steps and they go so fast!" Going from that to absolutely throwing down on stage at her first recital was amazing to see! She's been searching for her thing; and dance has become "it." Miss Jessica was her teacher, and she's just so sweet and good with the kids! The establishment as a whole is very warm and welcoming. The staff as well. And the recital they put on is so great! They make it entertaining for attendees. Highly recommend!

My mom told me I should try someplace else. I was really speculative, but decided why not? Roots was awesome! I thought I hated music but it was just the teacher. They helped me learn how to love music. It's now my passion and I don't know where I'd be without them. Unfortunately I had to move and quit but I recommend anyone interested in music or dance go there.
