I love this studio so much! I have taken a few pole classes and a silks class. They are extremely welcoming and inclusive, they make you feel very comfortable and safe trying new things. They have students of all ability levels so you can start with the basics if you're more experienced. Free parking out front, I've never had an issue finding a spot. What a great spot to visit especially when you go to Nashville for a bachelorette! My group and I absolutely loved the experience we had here at Miss Fit Academy. We did a pole dancing and chair dance class both were super fun! Between the two classes they sit you down in this cute little area where you can take pictures with their props and also offer you some champagne. This has become one of my favorite places in Nashville! I've become a regular and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to learn something new and exciting. When you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile and everyone who works here is super friendly. I've never once felt judged by anyone, including my fellow students. In fact, in my very first class, I was incredibly nervous and the instructor made a quick statement about body positivity that was really refreshing and made me feel a lot more comfortable. It wasn't preachy, just very sincere. The facility is super clean and well decorated. It's super cute and classy! They have a comfy sitting area to hang out in if you get there a little early and are waiting on your class. I was greeted by the cutest doggo once! They have snacks, leggings/shorts, tops, and other accessories to aid you in your class if needed. I've bought most of my equipment here because the prices are super reasonable including knee pads, dry hands, and dance paws (foot underwear lol). I usually swear by Amazon but it's convenient to grab something right before class if you need it! In the bathrooms they have extra hair ponytails and body sprays which I mean is like a woman's dream. It's a nice touch that I feel like goes above and beyond, even for something so small. If you're thinking about having a party here I can't really comment on those since I haven't been in one myself, but for what it's worth, the ladies who come for parties look like they're having a lot of fun. They have a bunch of options online to check out. As far as regular classes go, I think they're fantastic. I have taken only Pole 101 and signed up for a membership right after my student special ended. The great thing about Miss Fit Academy is that with every class you learn something new even if it's still 101. Each instructor is different and it's a real asset. Mainly because every student learns differently! If you go to a class and it wasn't your favorite, you have the ability to try a different instructor next time. I personally think all the instructors are fantastic. Zee is incredibly sweet and personable (absolutely adore her!), Miss Tricksee is so knowledgeable and attentive, and Sapphire is a ton of fun. They are all super talented and I've enjoyed each of their classes for different reasons. Lastly, if you're looking to have fun, learn a skill, gain confidence, get a good workout, increase flexibility, and make friends this is the place to be! I plan on coming here for a while. They've built a system that allows you to advance gradually and safely. If you're on the fence go ahead and give MFA a try. It's really worth it and there's something here for everyone. read more

Thanks to Miss Fit Academy I am hooked on pole dancing!!! Went a couple weeks ago for a friend's bach party and the class was a blast! I'm not the most confident about my body, but this class made me feel empowered, sexy, agile & fit! Such a fun new way to workout. Our instructor was super patient with us newbies (and not to mention super hot!) and made everyone feel very comfortable. I like that they have a new student special. It's 3 classes for $30. Good deal where 1 class is $20. Their app is nice and user friendly. I think this is a true beginner class. It's a good fit for those who have never touched the pole. I wish they would have one pole reserved for the instructor that was they don't always have to share with the students. There were some things that were done in the class that I personally didn't think fit/were not on beat with the music being played but I found they were playing the music mainly for background and not as a beat to focus on. Overall, it was a nice experience and a good workout. I still have 2 more classes to use in my free pass so I'll be back for those. read more

Came here for a Bachelorette Party this past weekend. MFA was extremely easy to work with and plan. Kayla taught us an Exotic Chair Dance class for the first 45 min and was fabulous! So much fun and made the class not awkward at all! We had a quick 15 min champagne toast with yummy strawberry champagne. Then we had a 45 min Pole Dancing Class with Lucy!! I could sit and watch Lucy all day, she is so talented! Made the class SO much fun and was a great teacher! Catered to the bride, which is important. Was so so awesome! read more

Fun group activity to do for a bachelorette party! I had one a similar event for another bachelorette party in Chicago and had a great experience, therefore was excited for this one. My group did the booty pop class and there are a few reasons for the 3 star rating: -For the first 15-20 mins of the class it seemed liked the instructor was more interested in watching herself dance than actually showing us how to do some of the moves. -There was a lot of floor work for which she wore kneepads...we however, did not have any, and the exercise did not seem necessary since we did not use in the choreography (had bruised knees after..) -We used 5-7 mins of the class to clean our matts, not sure why this couldn't be done afterwards to maximize class time -Dance class was 45 mins, with 15 mins to sit in a separate room for champagne. The class I had done in Chicago was a full hour with additional time for a toast, so I was expecting the same (website indicates ~1 hr total time) -Not a picky champagne drinker, but was really sweet and tasted like there was a lot food flavoring or something in it. Overall, I think this is a great activity to do for a bach party and makes for fun photos and dance video, so I would definitely still recommend. The 3 rating is solely based on our experience with the dance class (which I am also comparing to the Chicago miss fit academy dance experience) and is not a reflection on the rest of the studio. read more

Going to Nashville for a bachelorette party weekend, we naturally had to find the most cliché activities to do. When in Rome, why not learn how to line dance?! Well, maybe not in Rome, but on the South, at the very least. Miss Fit fit the bill for said activity, and as basic as our group may have been, it was such a great thing to do. The studio is a bit inconspicuous, but upon walking in, you're greeted by a super friendly staff (even after you show up a tad late...) who gets you in the mood to get down. Our instructor was a doll, and while it was a bit difficult to follow her choreography at times, she was quick to clarify anything and adjusted her language/teaching style based on what suited you. Our group of eleven were able to learn three dances in only an hour, and after that time, we were treated to some bubbly and great conversation with our instructor. For about $30 per person, we had a wonderful instructor guide us for almost 2 hours through choreographed pole dances first, before moving on to the chair dancing.
