Belleza Lase Ear Piercing Spa was wonderful! We came here on a Thursday afternoon for my 18th birthday. Jessica and Vanessa were so amazing. They are twin sisters (identical twins maybe). The spa was so beautiful and relaxing. The decorations were pretty. They also had nice calming music playing the whole time in the background. They first put the numbing cream on my ears. I highly recommend doing the numbing cream. Though we did have to wait a hour plus for the numbing cream to work, it was worth it. Jessica and Vanessa kept checking every so often to see if my ears were fully numbed. The twins fully explained everything--the whole process and after care. They had a good selection of earrings to choose from. When it was time they spent a lot of time carefully marking the right spot on my ears. They made sure that it was perfectly lined up in the center of my ears. They also made sure we all liked where they marked. Then they got out the earring cartridges. The actual earrings serve as the needle for them to punch in (they don't use a gun to get it in). Jessica and Venessa put the earrings in synchronized. One sister is on one side and the other is on the other ear--which is kind of cool. Since my ears were numbed, when they put the earrings in I didn't feel anything. All I heard was a click and so I knew they were in. It was so great that I didn't have to feel anything. My earrings look so good! Jessica and Venessa have been doing only earlobe piercings for 11 years. I highly recommend coming here for earrings piercings. They did a fantastic job and it was definitely worth the wait for the numbing cream. Also you get a crown and wand at the end! **Update from the next day** My ears don't really hurt. The numbing cream did a great job. I didn't feel anything when they pierced my ears, I had a little bit of soreness last night but other than that everything has been good. Jessica and Vanessa, twin sisters, have sweet, bubbly personalities and made us feel at ease during our entire experience. They thoroughly went through the pre and post-care instructions and made my daughter feel comfortable. The actual piercing was super quick and the twins do them simultaneously. My daughter cried for 10 seconds but was totally back to herself afterward! Since we followed the aftercare instructions, the healing process was easy (no redness, irritation, bleeding, etc.). My seven year old has been asking to get her ears pierced for some time, and I wanted the experience to be a good one- and not the mall kiosk. Belleza Lase delivered. The only negative thing is the location is not that easy to manage with parking- you basically have to find street parking, so allow yourself extra time to get here. The offices are in an older office building and it seems a little odd at first, till you actually enter their studio space. The two sisters who operate the studio are incredibly friendly and did a great job putting my slightly nervous daughter at ease. The space is bright and friendly, with lots to distract. They did a great job explaining the entire process to my daughter and I, and were incredibly precise and thorough. They use a single use cartridge system preloaded with the chosen earrings, and they do both ears at the same time to make the procedure as painless as possible. Finding professional, certified piercers who are experienced in (and willing to do) infant ear piercings turned out to be harder than I initially thought. Mall shops were out of the question for my little girl's first earrings, which left tattoo parlors, pediatricians, and this unique little shop, Belleza Lase. After reading every review I could find online and getting an unsolicited recommendation from a reputable pediatrician, I booked the appointment. My husband and I were attended by Vanessa, who along with her twin sis Jessica, owns the cute shop in Old Town Fairfax. Before we got started, Vanessa gave us a thorough run-down of what the procedure would look like, along with after care cleaning instructions. We picked the earrings from a selection of 14K yellow gold and hypoallergenic studs. And once Jessica joined us in the room, it was showtime. The twins snapped on gloves and masks and got down to business. One marked our little girl's ears, while the other distracted her. We gave the OK for the placements and were shown the closed casings of the earrings and the tools that would be used. Once everything was in order, they instructed my husband to distract our baby with her bottle while I held her. Then they flanked my increasingly suspicious little girl and pierced each lobe at the same time. There was a cry (and a big gasp from me) and it was done. Throughout the procedure, the twins took care to explain everything they were doing as it was being done. Perfect Experience! My wife and I brought our 4 month old in for her ear piercings. Belleza Lase definitely provides the entire experience, and it was great for us nervous parents. When we arrived, they sat us down in the "operating room", and let the baby get acclimated to the environment. During that time they gave us the cleaning instructions and how to properly care for her ears. OK, baby Meadow was set. The docs had Meadow sit on my lap while mom distracted her a bit. They measured her earlobes to ensure perfect placement of the earrings. Using a black fine-tip marker, they places a dot where the exact center was. Mom checked the placement and gave the okay. The docs gave me instruction on how to properly hold Meadow. Using 2 guns, they counted to three and simultaneously pierced our princesses ears. She cried for about 10 seconds, and it was done! I researched and researched and on her 6th birthday, brought her to a very highly recommended piercing studio in Arlington only to come home and discover her ears were pierced with the posts coming out the back of her lobes diagonally. I was devastated. I was not going to put her through that again. After four days of talking to friends and seeing our pediatrician, I found this business mentioned online by another mom in my area. Got my six month young infant pierced two weeks ago. The piercing specialists (two of them) were patient and precise. My infant has just started her stranger anxiety stage, so they waited patiently till she warmed to mark her ears. Then both pierced her ears at the same time. The only crying was when the actual shot was done. No pain after that whatsoever! No swelling or redness either. I was able to clean her ears with the lotion they gave after two hours. Great experience! I was in search of a place to get my daughter's ears pierced and did not quite feel comfortable taking my infant to a Claire's Thanks to Yelp, I found Belleza Lase. I took my 9 month old daughter in to get her ears pierced. Like everyone else, I was extremely impressed with the owners. They were thorough, extremely kind, patient, seem to genuinely love children, did not rush the process, and did everything to ensure we had the best experience possible. Thank you! At first, the piercing process was thoroughly explained. I was then walked through ear care, and reminded that they would be sending me home with care instructions and a solution. The owners then marked where to position her piercings. I found them to be perfectionist, and appreciated all of the attention to detail. Finally, both ears were pierced at the same time, a small cry, and we were done. I could not have asked for a better experience. Tip: When you make your appointment, you can reserve the earrings you want in advance. I did not know this, but learned about this when I was there. Moms (and Dads- lol) might want to consider reserving the earring in advance in the small off chance that they run out of your desired piercing. I went with my 5 month old to get her ears pierced and they were so gentle with her and made the process to easy. They explain very well after care and give you everything you need to help you baby feel comfortable during and after. Truly was a great experience and my daughter looks so beautiful with her new earrings oh and they give you a cute Tiara and want for awesome pictures read more
