The one nurse who told me I quote " if you keep crying I won't come back into your room" should have been fired for her lack of compassion. I hope your staff takes a urine bag connected to my bladder being stepped on and left on the floor without cleaning seriously two years later. She doesn't blink an eye and goes with the flow. Robert is a great physical therapist as well. He knows how to push without seeming to push. Emily is lovely. We had other therapists, and everyone was professional, but this was my father's key team. The nursing is better than most. Are they all rock stars? No, but all were above average. The food was decent for a hospital, and they actually want you to get items you like. The place is clean and has no bad smells. The cleaning crew cleans your room daily. Parking is simple and free for visitors. No crazy visitation hours. Everyone on the staff listens and makes you feel heard. No one wants to be at a rehab hospital, but this will be the only one I will go to moving forward.

They've performed for the president, in musical theater and opera companies throughout their careers, in addition to choir directing. Having grown up around wonderful singers (and understanding how they become that way), my husband sat in on our daughter's first lesson with Julie just to see if we would sign on. He was blown away! He was amazed that this level of talent and expertise in teaching exists "just around the corner." My teenage daughter needed more command of her voice as the lead singer in a band. In just one lesson, Julie totally transformed my daughter's voice, and quickly gave her the tools she needed to access her potential. What were once impossible notes to hit, are now easily obtained. I am not exaggerating. At first, we were surprised at how much voice lessons cost, but signing up for 4 (instead of paying as you go) is a steal. You typically get what you pay for, but in this instant we are paying far below the level of instruction. In another city (like New York), we couldn't afford Julie's expertise. I highly recommend her--especially for teens. She made my daughter feel empowered, comfortable, and in control of her voice. She often invited me in to witness my daughter's lessons and readily gave me detailed updates about her progress. Julie is enthusiastic, positive, fun, friendly and simply fabulous.

I was never pushed past a reasonable point, and I was even allowed to re-arrange certain exercises in the routine if I needed to. Kelsey + Micah were my treatment team, and they did a fantastic job! Micah in particular listened well and gave a thoughtful answer to every question I threw at her. Everyone is really encouraging! The front desk staff and all the techs are also really nice. The techs scurry around making sure everyone is on track with their routine; they also constantly keep the place wiped down and clean. I really liked the environment at this location, too. The music is motivating instead of annoying, and not too loud. All the patients came from diverse age ranges, backgrounds, and abilities -- so I felt like everyone was made to feel welcome.
