Even the cosmos, where his constellation is fading from view. He is attended by figures of the court representing love, science, loyal companionship, even a representative of those whose drudgery keeps the whole place working and after all, one with the good sense to help him let go of his crumbling control and go on into death with acceptance, That is just one reading of the play, but all the actors are so good and the production so tight that one forgets how ridiculous is this whole kingdom and feels for the pathetic king and his attendants. Very interesting to look at. The artwork hanging is quite nice. Super friendly staff as you enter the lobby. They keep record of your ticket purchase and provide a program. Super easy. No stress in attempting to locate your ticket. A bar with beverages available for purchase is located in the lobby. The theater itself is big enough and small enough for comfort. I don't think it's possible to get a bad seat. It was cool to see a local live production. iDiOM is conveniently located just steps away from Bellingham Cider Co within the same building. I was looking for a singing telegram and when I first came across their page, I thought it was only…read moresuperheroes and fairytale princesses for kids' parties. Au contraire! I found a little blurb about the "singagrams" starting at a decent price so I called for more info. Cassandra picked up and was very happy and perky when she answered - my whole background is customer service and too many places don't get how important that is and what an impression that makes. I liked her right away. While the phone rang I was thinking I wanted a clown or gorilla, something funny and ridiculous and wasn't sure what I could use from these guys. Right when we started talking I realized a random Batman appearance would be hilarious - especially when she said he was a professional actor AND singer and would do the voice. OMG...THIS GUY. Let me tell you, he is a STAR and should be friggin' famous. He NAILED IT. You know someone has a natural talent when they put their all into what they do and has a natural charm. He did a phenomenal job mortifying her with his over-the-top entrance just as I'd hoped, gave her the balloon, card and rose, sang Happy Birthday and danced/sang to what I said was her "theme song" Milkshake . She almost couldn't breathe she was laughing so much. He took pictures and when they found out we both had kids, he did baby shark and a special video for our sons. They even did videos for us, including the Batman theme song LOL! I'm telling you, their singing telegram section should be more featured. This was shockingly way above and beyond what I expected, thoughtful, professional, friendly and fun and considering the manager called a meeting so everyone would be there to enjoy the spectacle, I HIGHLY recommend hiring Out of the Rain and embarrassing your family or friends at work (with company permission of course) giving them a great, special surprise they won't forget. I can't thank your company enough, our faces still hurt from smiling.
