The staff was amazing. We did the Eureka Room and Cryptid Escapes (their sister room) The clues were great and they follow what you're doing and watch and give you good hints and can tell when you're just struggling but know what the point is. They also were really humourous and fun and just were really cool people. We had Eileen and Hugh. Hugh was actually at both locations! We've done quite a few rooms in Canada and we went down south to do two rooms in one day. Would recommend to anyone at anytime. Looking forward to going back and doing more of their rooms! read more

My family ( 2 adults, and 14, 10, and 9 yr old boys) had an absolute blast. This escape room was the perfect level of difficulty for our group and the host, Ske, was so pleasant and helpful. We probably needed more hints than usual as we were playing with 3 first timers but the Robotic Resurgence was a great storyline that my kids really enjoyed. The puzzles were intricate and interesting, and there was a TV screen inside the room for hints if we wanted them. We had a few hours to kill while in town, so we made a last-minute reservation to complete an escape room over lunch. They were quick to respond via email and phone, and set up the appointment. Got there a few minutes early and Hugh was waiting for us, with the room already set up. We've completed over a dozen rooms together, and this compared well against other rooms that we've done elsewhere in the past. Great storyline, excellent puzzles, challenging but not impossible. This was truly a great way to spend an hour together, and would highly recommend Eureka Room for anyone who wants to experience an escape room. Kudos for a great time! read more

I recently went home to visit my family and was overjoyed to find an escape room had opened in my home town! I visited with my boyfriend, sisters, and young nephew. When we arrived, 15 minutes before game time as is the policy of most escape rooms, the room wasn't ready and the door into the space was locked. We were asked to wait almost 20 minutes out in a lobby not attached to the space while the woman finished preparing our room. It felt like she had waited until we arrived to reset before the our game. From what I could see they weren't busy, so I couldn't figure out why the room wasn't close to being reset when we arrived. The woman who ran our game seemed very nervous, like she wasn't experienced in costumer service and honestly she was not friendly. She ran us quickly through rules and put us in our room. Not ten minutes had past before she started giving us clues unprompted. None of us asked for help but she started inserting her clues and continued to do so every five minutes when she saw we weren't getting things quick enough. It felt like she wanted us out as quickly as possible, which didn't make for a fun game. The production design was nothing to be really impressed about. For Bellingham's first escape room (that I'm aware of) it's awesome, but not competitive with others on the market. I live in California and the standards are much higher. For the price I paid I expect something a little more. Mostly giving this place 3 stars because of the unprofessional staff. read more

Just did this with a group of my lady friends and it was AMAZING! I won't give away any clues but the puzzles are challenging (the limits of your brain will definitely be tested) yet still connected and very relevant to the theme of the room. The puzzles may seem crazy and confusing at first but we had so many "AHAAAAAAAA!!" moments because they totally click when you figure them out. There aren't any filler clues and everything tells a really interesting story! Speaking of the theme, it isn't super cheesy or gimmicky (okay just a little bit, but that's what makes these fun to role play!). Jesse was our host and so friendly and helpful - he waits outside the door to the room to give two hints in case you get stuck! You meet outside the door to the Herald building so don't be shocked when the door is locked like we were:) They offer a student discount but we got a discount for being AmeriCorps members which is amazing and something I really appreciate living on a stipend. Definitely a MUST-DO in Bellingham if you're looking for an adventurous night full of mystery . Rumor is that a new theme or room is coming in the fall so I'll definitely be back. A very nice setup. We went in as a group of four experienced solvers and did Backstage Breakout. The puzzles were well setup and connected well to each other - we required no hints to get through it. The puzzles were of moderate difficulty - approachable to people who hadn't done this sort of experience before but still fun for experienced solvers. The staffer was friendly and explained everything well before and after the event. We had a great time and would certainly go back to try one of their other rooms in the future. read more

I've been to several escape rooms and this one is the worst, by far! There was very little thought or expense used in creating this room and it is a perfect example of what not to do in creating an escape room! The puzzles were illogical & most made no sense, even after you found the solution. There were way too many "red herrings" that interrupted the already poor puzzle flow & none of the puzzles related to it's so called theme! Escape rooms are supposed to immerse you into their themes by creating a setting & puzzles that match that theme. This room was a plain, sparsely filled room with just a few items scattered around that had no connection or made any sense to the theme! Sorry, but this was a big disappointment & a complete waste of time & money! read more
