I was highly reccommended to go here for installation of hair extensions. I paid about 800 for my hair and I was going to be charged $2 a strand for install. I understand hair extension is expensive. My father passed away and I messaged Janine and she said aorry but she was still going to charge me $150 of cancellation fee. I was seeing a previous stylist for a long time, only to learn that she had made a mess of my hair! Luckily, I found Elishia. She is truly a miracle worker. My hair was damaged and ugly. She colored it with the perfect products. My hair felt healthier than ever after receiving her services. She nailed my A cut, which I know most stylists tend to muck up. I have actually had strangers stop me at the store, parking lots, etc and ask if they can take pictures of my hair and asking who does it (creepy, I know). I've never felt so stressed and tense at a hair salon before. The owner doesn't allow kids on the floor, so every time my daughter would come and ask me for a snack or to open her juice she would go over and make a scene about it with the stylist. So annoying. And to top it off my ombre I had done looked bad, really bad. The colors didn't look blended, you could see a straight line across from dark brown to brassy/orange! Horrible!! I will never go there again, specially with that owner there. So disrespectful. And not enough experience on both sides! Went back to a solid color I had no choice. I went somewhere else of course. I suggested they put a big noticeable sign instead of the little one they have hidden with small letters about having kids there. Oh and my kid was not running or jumping. One year after the total catastrophe at Bello Capelli Salon and I am happy to say that I have found THE best salon in Riverside. It took me almost six months to bring myself to try out a new stylist after the shocking botch job to my hair thanks to Elishia at Bello Capelli. Equally as shocking and even more disappointing was the salon owner's ridiculous response. It was a nightmare that I occasionally think about to this very day. Celina at Ilo Salon is probably the most talented hair artist that I have ever met. The salon is small and sophisticated and has a very relaxed and positive vibe. Celina is upbeat, creative, and has talent beyond her years. The horrible experience at Bello Capelli just helped me to appreciate Celina and Ilo all the more. read more

I am VERY picky when it comes to my hair. I used to have it bleached out and the roots touched up every month. Cheree D. is my stylist and she is just amazing!! She always knows exactly what I'm talking about when I ask for a certain style. She also made temporary extensions and styled my hair for my wedding. It made me feel beautiful!! She waxes my brows and isn't rough like at other places. The prices are extremely reasonable with her and the salon is small but always kept really clean and the bathroom always has a nice smell. I decided on this place after looking at their website and seeing the reviews this salon received. I called and asked for a consultation and booked an appointment with one of the stylists. I came in and was greeted warmly. I had to wait a few minutes but in that time I was able to refresh myself with some water. I met with my stylist who was very friendly and welcoming. I do not get my hair done often and finding a stylist I can be comfortable with is a huge plus. I came in to get black taken out of my hair and get an ombre look. My stylist did an amazing job. I'm so happy to have found this place 3 months ago! I had boring Ole faded black hair and wanted a new look. Made a last minute appointment with Elishia an hour after i called. I got to the salon and was greeted with a smile and went immediate to the chair. Elishia was very patient with me going over what i wanted, even though i really didn't know what i wanted. We decided to do an ombre with low lights throughout. Hair came out great! I left a very happy customer. 3 months later; today, i called last minute again to make an appointment with Elishia and had no problem. I come to Bello Capelli because of Lauren, she is amazing! But first about the salon: it is in a great location, right up the street from the Tyler mall. There is plenty of parking and well lit if you go late after work for a hair appointment. Inside of the salon is beautiful, very spa-like and clean! I am not sure if they take walk in appointments but they always seem to be well booked so I would make sure to make an appointment with a stylist before going in. I am always offered water, tea, or wine with my hair appointment, which is a nice bonus! Lauren only works on Tuesdays here because she is full time in Hollywood and Manhattan Beach the other days. After reading multiple yelp reviews I decided to give Bello Capelli a call to get my hair styled for a wedding, same day. Janine answered and was very pleasant and professional. She got me in the same day with Erin, and even called me back at work to confirm my appointment and let me know there may be a small wait when I arrived (which there was not) When I arrived at the salon Erin greeted me right away and I instantly felt comfortable with her. She styled my hair and after re-curling my stubborn sections a couple of times it looked GREAT and stayed ALL night through the wedding. Erin is awesome! She was very patient and friendly. Even text me to remind me of my appointment Friday and was available to answer my questions about lightening my hair. I was a client at Bello Capelli. I have never and will never recommend it to anyone. Not one person besides my stylist ever greeted me, or spoke one word to me while I was there. BEWARE! I went in two weeks ago, I believe it was Thursday May 12th, I wanted blonde hair, I am a natural brunette and I had my natural hair color the day I went in. I told Elishia that I wanted all blonde hair but she talked me into getting highlights so I ended up doing that. I did not like how it turned out but I paid the $160 and made an appointment with her for the week after to get it fully blonde which is what I had originally asked for. Elishia told me that she would do a full weave of heavy blonde highlights as to not put more bleach over the already blonde highlights. When I got to Bello Capelli, she was able to convince me to basically just put bleach all over my head to lighten my hair completely. She proceeded to bleach my entire head twice the same day. My hair came out white with some brassy low lights. So I paid her and did not say anything about it because I am a pretty reserved person and I do not like confrontation, but I can tell you I never once asked for white hair. I wanted a honey blonde a more natural looking blonde. The days following I lost a lot of hair and my scalp completely peeled. My head was so itchy and red it was unbearable. I messaged Elishia about a refund two days ago since my head was still peeling and my hair is now dry and breaking, but she said that they do not offer refunds only the chance to go a THIRD time so they can "fix it" I spend $400 so that they could leave me with dry brassy white hair I NEVER asked for. I do not trust going back there again so I am very upset that they did not even offer some of the money I paid not even for my peeling scalp. I am pretty sure it was just easier to drench my head in bleach than to do an entire head of highlights. If you want someone that just wants a quick $400 with no regards to how you want your hair to turn out or the health of your hair, then go ahead go to Bello Capelli. read more

My most recent visit was with Cherie and she took care of me and all my girls for my wedding! They gave outstanding customer service to me and my girls, not only that as well as the photographer and videographer crew that followed us around. Cherie helped me to design the hair of my dreams for my wedding which I was planning to put up but till have not recieved my pictures yet, so I will post them soon! I emailed the owner, Janine about Gray Blending (a term I made up in my head) my colored, waist-length hair. I didn't want a tacky, gray line of roots and demarcation growing out and had no intention of shaving my head to keep it from happening. I was worried about what underneath was going to look like (I have to wear my hair up for work) as well as damage to all this hair. Janine got back to me the same day and I made an appointment. I saw Janine for a long appointment. She began by reassuring me about color, damage etc and was very positive.
