This beauty shop has a great variety of braiding hair, much better than my local locations. I appreciate the variety in terms of length as well as color. I personally don't want my hair to my butt and they have 32 inch hair which works out to 16in when braided. They also have bundles available. I think they are priced a bit high, ~$50 however in terms of the braiding hair, I think the pricing is on spot averaging six or seven dollars for a pack. Service was nonexistent so even though I knew exactly what I wanted, there was no one available to help. read more

I have been supporting this black owned business since it opened. I love that there are black women that work there and for the first time, I needed recommendations. The customer service is lacking so much that I don't think I will go back here. They have a great supply of products, but customer service means everything. I said I was getting shoulder length braids and instead of saying, hey - we have shorter braiding hair for your needs, I was met with - so why do you have such long braiding hair then! I had no idea there was a kids section for shorter lengths. Then I asked for human hair recommendations and was given 2 choices, but no help. Just left this beauty supply after purchasing braiding hair and the customer service is DEFINITELY lacking. While they have a nice array of braiding hair brands and everything from crochet hair to wigs, I came in, wasn't greeted, browsed for braiding hair for about 15 minutes and wasn't acknowledged. Some things I needed were out of stock such as small black rubber bands...besides giving me my total and asking if I wanted a receipt and have a nice day. No one spoke to me. While I was checking out the two young ladies whispered amongst themselves and I didn't like that. Uni Beauty in Moreno Valley, CA advertises the wrong prices on their website and in their store on the display items, they are unprofessional, spend more time gossiping than helping the customer, and they are clueless as to what good customer service is. I will not be returning to Uni Beauty in Moreno Valley, CA. I saw an item online for $32.99 and went into the store to purchase it. The display in the store also said $32.99. Tikyo, the store rep, charged me $39.99. She put the receipt in the bag and I did notice look at the receipt until I got home. I called her right away and told her that she overcharged me. She said, they go by the price in their system, not the price that is advertised on their website and not by the price on the display. I explained that they should honor the price that was advertised and displayed in their store, but she just became more and more unprofessional and was just clueless as to what good customer service is. I asked to speak to the owner, Joi... The owner Joi Milton had not responded to me before I started this message but I just checked my messages and the owner responded with the following message: "Hello Ms. Bircher. The price discrepancy of $7 between the website and our in-store cost was supposed to be corrected to $39.99 by the system that we are using. Unfortunately the correct price is $39.99 and if you had purchased it through the website then we would have honored the old 2020 price of $32.99. The reason behind why I have not been reachable is because a family member has been ill and this morning they have passed. My employees are NOT trying to keep you from contacting me. I am and have been mourning my family's loss. This is my favorite beauty supply in the area. I've been shopping here since I moved to the IE a few years ago when they were at the smaller location down the street. The store is always clean, well stocked, and well priced. Its very organized and easy to find what you're looking for. I love that they have such a diverse staff and they are each very friendly and actually helpful. Never had a bad experience shopping here and I'm so glad to not have to deal with the stereotypical beauty supply experience where the owners stare you down or follow you around while you shop. I drive from Corona to patronize this beauty supply since it's black owned. I purchased 10 packs of braiding hair after the Braider canceled on me I then scheduled an appointment with another Braider who provides her own. Whom I will be using going forward so I came in asking for a store credit it's been less than 30 days and my receipt was provided. I even offered to provide my ID as proof that I reside in Corona. The only reason I'm in Moreno Valley today is because of my clients. Their refusal to simply issue store credit seeing the hair hadn't been opened was it for me. Corona is not around the corner so I definitely wasn't going drive back here the next day or the next week or even the following week to return the hair knowing I had a receipt and it was less than 30 days. So on my visit today I left my house so I would be there upon the establishment's opening time 9am. They didn't open on time I waited for over 10 minutes, now this may seem minor but, I am on a tight schedule in the mornings and went here specifically because they opened earlier than a store closer to my home. I was a little bothered but I could let that go. Now I purchased 4 items one for 2.99 a solid colored scarf, one pack of braiding hair for 3.99, an xtra-large bonnet for $4.99, and a bottle of 100% tea tree oil for 9.99, they charge 0.50 to use a card which is fine however the .99 charge for nothing at the top of my receipt was not cool.
