Old school exhaust shop, they do very old to very new exhaust systems. I watched them artfully do a 51 Chevy truck, then a 2002 Ram, then a 2016 Kia, then my own, a '91 Toyota truck. In/out. Bent pipes, re-did O2 sensor mounts, hangers, one after another the prices seemed very reasonable to me. Call ahead; they get busy. My problem cost $75. Yours might be more, or less, depending on the problem. They do this all day, nothing else. This is my third time here. It's not a glitzy customer experience with fru-fru seats and coffee maker. My mechanic at Advanced Auto discovered I had an exhaust leak on my 13 year old Subaru Forester, so he recommended I take it to Bell's Exhaust to have it repaired. I took it in just after 8am, and they looked at it right away. Brian, the owner, brought me into the garage and showed me exactly what the problem was, and what he recommended to repair it. Everything was completed in less than 30 minutes. The cost was very reasonable, and now the car sounds like new! I was so pleased with the service, and them taking the time to show and explain everything. I highly recommend this place! I do agree with another reviewer that the waiting room could be nicer, but I didn't mind given how awesome their work and service was. read more

I was on a trip to Bloomington when my tail pipe rusted off. Fortunately, a mechanic at a local Marathon directed me to Bell's Exhaust when Meineke wouldn't help. I can't say enough positive about the guys at Bell's Exhaust. The shop is a throw back to a time past in a great way. The pricing was very reasonable, and I was in and out in about 2 hours. In at 8am. Back on the road by 8:30. They opened on-time, got me checked-in and verified what I thought was the issue (worn out flex-pipe). They quickly replaced the item and charged me a fair price. My car had some obvious muffler issues. I checked out Midas online and most of the reviews were negative and pointed readers to Bell's. I brought my car into the shop at 2:30pm and they got it up on the lift, showed me the problem and quoted me the cost within 10 minutes. My car was fixed and I was back on the road in 30 minutes! For all of those complaining about the waiting room: I am planning to seek out furniture to donate to this shop and you should do the same. It is rare to find quality, honest, reliable and efficient service. Bell's deserves a 'Thank you' from locals for being such an asset to our community. read more

These guys are so honest and reasonably priced I don't see how they stay in business. I was actually given options to save myself money....which has never happened before in the world of all things auto!! I was given the opportunity to visually inspect my exhaust system before making a decision on how to proceed. Though I was offered an option for a repair that was a third of the cost, I opted to replace the entire exhaust. Why? Because their prices were so reasonable.....why not? Did I mention lifetime warranty on muffler and 2 yrs on exhaust pipes? I have no doubt this exhaust system will outlive my older model Nissan Frontier. In addition to their fair prices and honesty, they're really FAST, but in a good way....like a well oiled machine! If my Camry ever needs a new system I know exactly where to go. read more

On Friday my car started to make this loud clanking noise, so I peeked underneath to see what was going on exactly. My muffler was literally touching the ground. I got recommended to Bell's Exhaust, went there the next morning (keep in mind they DO NOT accept appointments). Thankfully I was first and they only work on a car then and there, I had expected them to take a few days. The price of the repair and labor was very fair at $90 for them to reattach and use a welder to reconnect it to my exhaust system. They'll even show and explain to you what's wrong with your car. The only two reasons this isn't a five-star is because, like most auto shops, it has a god-awful grimy and not completely smoke-free waiting room. The shop is also hidden behind lots of buildings off of ThirdSt.! Hint: turn when you see a place called Total Tan and keep going back. read more

Very accommodating staff! We weren't certain they could fit us in and I was only expecting an estimate since there was maybe 20 minutes to close. They still got it on an ease, gave me a price and said they could get to it before close. They fixed it for 75% less than I had budgeted for and had us on the road within 15 minutes!!! The repair made the car so much quieter that my son tried "starting" the car while it was already running. Great shop. Great folks. read more

I heard about this place and decided to check it out. I've been there twice. The first time they replaced just the section that needed replaced. Everything was done properly, timely and at a fair price. Sadly, that vehicle was wrecked badly about a year later. I went back several years later with another vehicle and had the same experience. I got everything done at a fraction of the cost of other shops. But again, that particular vehicle went away about two years later. My car started to make a horrible noise and a friend of a friend said to take it to Bell's Exhaust at 8 a.m. when they open. I can say the were cheap and fast, within twenty minutes my car was like new and I was pulling out of the parking lot. I would highly suggest them to anyone. read more

My mechanic referred me to Belle's Exhaust. I got out if my driveway at 3:10 PM knowing they are first come first served. As it turned out there were two cars in front of mine I'd have to wait. Ten minutes later my car was taken in to the garage. Minutes after that I had a price and an estimated time for repairs. Soon I was driving home in a car that sounded new and drove better Later as I pulled into my driveway I looked at the clock it was 4:03. Reasonably priced, fast and fixed? That is my kind of mechanic! Want a nicer waiting room? I'm sure there are plenty of places who will charge you handsomely for that. I was there to get my car fixed. read more

so great and super fair! They will tell you your options and let you make the choice that best fits your budget/age of the car, very old school so don't expect a fancy waiting room ;)- they are not charging you extra to pay for fancy magazines- We will sure miss Bell's if we ever move read more
