We're happy for the future, as we know that our children have been provided with the absolute BEST preparation for school, but also sad that this chapter in our lives has concluded. Donna, the director and owner, is hands on, and know both the children and their families personally. She, and her amazing team of teachers, have built an environment that is not only an educational extended family, but is also Christ centered. Each of our children thrived while at CPEL, and they have been tremendously successful in their school lives that have followed. I give this institution the highest possible rating! Clean, Courteous, and honestly loving of our children and family, they have been everything we could have ever wanted in a preschool, and we have ZERO regrets.

At first, we were very skeptical when it comes to choosing the perfect school/daycare for our first child to attend. We wanted to make sure that we chose the perfect school the first time. As you can imagine this involves thorough research and interviews with multiple schools. After visiting five other schools in the area, Primrose of Wade Green was our last stop... literally. We were just amazed with the level of education, service and support that was offered to the children AND the parents. The facility is extremely clean and well kept. I love the fact they start teaching sign language to infants, this really helped our son communicate with us without frustration. For first time parents, they were very helpful, and made us feel very comfortable with a strong sense of security. Also, I have to admit, our child eats better than we do at Primrose of Wade Green. They knock it out of the park when it comes to nutrition, and we receive a weekly menu! One of my favorite perks has to be the surprise emails. Throughout the day, Primrose staff takes many pictures of all the beautiful children and on occasion they email us photos of our child enjoying his day...what a treat! Everyone at Primrose makes an effort to bond with your child and they are determined to make sure the kids are always happy. In closing, we love Primrose and make sure to tell everyone about our experience. I cannot imagine ever going to another school/daycare for my childcare needs. We enrolled both our sons at this Discovery Point, location #43, including our youngest, who was twenty-two months old and couldn't yet tell us about his day; my adult stepson handled most of the pickups, and he is as agreeable as they come. We were also, in those same weeks, grieving -- we'd just had to put our family dog of nearly 18 years down. Try explaining "all dogs go to heaven" to a sad toddler before school. The center expelled our toddler on a single afternoon's notice -- no meeting, no warning, by email. Its own behavior policy promises a parent conference and a plan before it ever comes to that. We got neither. Days later, in writing, the company told us both that his behavior was serious enough to remove him the same day and that it had offered to let him return for the rest of that week. Both of those cannot be true. The records the center pointed to were kept in an app it had repeatedly told families was malfunctioning, and that I was locked out of for months before he was removed. Within a single two-week stretch, those records listed my son as three different ages, though he had been attending for nearly a year. On billing, the center's own director admitted in writing -- more than once -- that there were errors, and only issued some corrections. Then, weeks after expelling my son, the center asked every family to sign a revised disenrollment policy -- one that now reserves the right to 'immediately disenroll the child with no notice' and to 'terminate services for inappropriate behavior of parents or guardians.' Prospective parents should read that twice. I am not writing this in anger. A daycare holds something irreplaceable: very young children who cannot speak for themselves, and the trust of the families who leave them there. We were an easy family to be honest with, and we would have worked with them. Instead, the paperwork mattered more than the child -- and even the paperwork could not keep its story straight. I hope this helps the next family ask the questions we did not know to ask.

It was a very awkward and uncomfortable tour. When we finished, we mentioned that we would like to get on the waitlist, as many daycares are stating that their availability is full. Her direct response was, "I would visit other daycares before making the decision or choice to enrolling at Goddard." I have never felt so rejected and disrespected of my time. This is not the way a first-time parent should feel about providing their child the best education/care. I honestly can say that this is an inclusion school, not diverse at all. Very disappointed!

Beware! The owner believes herself to be above the state laws for Pre-K programs!…read more Charges $165 per MONTH for lunch ($8 per day - do you spend that much on YOUR lunch? Can you say "profit center"? State guidelines are a MAX of $120 per month) Refuses to allow lunch to be provided by the parent for Pre-K programs, although state law says it is required to be allowed if any other class in school can bring food from home. Now she says that yes, you can bring lunch from home, but must STILL pay $80 per month, to NOT be provided any food! Yeah, profit center. She does not care at all about the laws of the state. She was asked about other options for low income families and lied to each and every person in Georgia Pre-k. State law says the state must approve any disenrollment, but Farah threw my son out today, while calling me names (possibly homophobic or maybe just because I am a young struggling veteran). What did I do? Explained the law to her that said she could not charge for lunch if the student was a "Category 1" student. She told me I still owed her money. That she could kick out my son because it is her school. If you ask for an accounting, don't think you will get something from a computer. No - handwritten scribbles. I have asked MULTIPLE times for a bill. Dont expect her organization to improve We have used other Goddard Schools - this one is horrible. The teachers here are amazing but the second you say anything about the ridiculous prices or the owner breaking the law *and yes, there is now an open investigation and this school may be on probation* she will kick you out and embarrass you. The owner does not care about your children. Only your wallet.

We toured several centers in Roswell and were BLOWN AWAY by Building Kidz, which we lovingly call BK in our house. Being at BK totally changed my perception about what daycare is -- and what it isn't. I initially wanted a nanny because I didn't want to feel like some other people were raising my child while I was at work. But in reality, a good daycare isn't just caring for your child, they are teaching them too. Even little babies get stimulation and activities that help them learn social skills and other development skills. Our daughter has been at BK since she was 12 weeks old and now she is nearly 3 years old. We love the focus on performing arts and how BK really makes each family feel like part of a community. I highly recommend Building Kidz to any family I meet. It's such an amazing place for children.
