Her teachers, Ms. Melissa and Ms. Rama, are truly a Godsend. When our child first started, she didn't know English, but the teachers made sure she felt comfortable, supported, and included from day one. Their patience, care, and encouragement have completely changed her attitude toward school. She was never interested in going before, but with these two wonderful teachers, she now looks forward to it every day. She is now able to converse well in English, has started showing interest in reading and writing, and is more disciplined than ever before. The director has also been incredibly friendly and gave a personal touch to all of our conversations. She made onboarding so easy and stress-free, which really helped us feel comfortable from day one. We are so grateful to the entire team at Primrose for creating such a nurturing and supportive environment. Highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a place where their child will thrive!

I went to a Montessori perschool and wanted our daughter to have that experience.Having multiple age ranges in a class benefits all the students for different reasons. I think Montessori method with student driven learning is wonderful for curious children. The student to teacher ration is 10 or 11 to 1 with 3 teachers per class. I love that this school is willing to push the kids to the extent each child is willing academically. Our daughter had been home schooled/cared for by close friends for years and was well beyond the PreK curriculum before even starting. The next year, when our daughter was assessed for kindergarten in a Cobb County public school, she scored high and was placed in a more rigorous class which pleased us. The teachers and staff also assist with social learning. Our daughter was a bit behind the others socially; most of whom had been in daycare or this school versus home care/school and were well socialized. Teachers and staff worked with my daughter and my husband and I and kept us updated. Also, my daughter is being raised as a Jehovah's Witness which posses unique challenges around birthdays and holidays. The staff was understanding, accommodating, and had a willingness to learn, understand and work with our daughter and us that astonished us. I have never worked with a more flexible and helpful staff. The Director and Assistant Director were almost always there, unless I'll. We had several tours including just stopping in. Montessori schools do not put their monies into beautification; they put it into hiring and educating exceptional teachers and staff. Please remember that when you tour. They treat the children and parents with love and respect. We were completely impressed with them.

I am a teacher so I receive a significant discount but outside of that the price still undercut our nearby Goddard school and Primrose academy. Not only is the director and front office staff top notch professionals, the teachers truly operate as a team - helping my child thrive academically and socially. As a parent, I am expected to engage and help with homework every week, volunteer as a class reader and participate in various themes throughout the year! We love the structure. You'll never feel like there is someone you should only talk to for certain items - they all work and speak from the same page. Of course this school has the standard KRK curriculum but what it has to differentiate itself is heart & investment, i.e. Splash pad (2x a week in the summer = more work for the teachers but they believe it's worth it!), spring and fall festivals (the whole place turns into a giant carnival and it's all from the owners pockets), weekly magic man/ music enrichment / gym activities (also part of your tuition), spring and winter performances - real lights, choreography, music and performance by our little ones! The teachers here mostly have at least 5-10 years of service. That should speak volumes. In fact, because hiring is never perfect, when there were concerns, I have seen this team all hands on deck to address it effectively. So.... While nothing replaces personal mom/dad/family stay at home care and while there are usually up to 20 kids per class (3 teachers), we have been overjoyed with the partnership we've built with this team and hope to continue the trend!! 2 thumbs up :-)

Reposting from my Google review:…read more A den of thieves. We started at VMS in Jan 2020, and in March 2020 we had to pull out our child because of COVID lockdowns. VMS asked us to continue paying, which we did, because we understood that it was a hard time for everyone. We did not attend during Fall 2020 and started back in January 2021. Everything was fine. Summer of 2021 we were told students would not be required to wear masks (a requirement for us to send our child, which they knew). About two weeks after school started they reversed this decision, so we got a medical exemption for our child, as did several other parents. About a week after receiving medical exemption, they decided to reverse this as well and revoked all medical exemptions, and yet still expect us to continue paying. We even appealed to the school but were met with ridicule and condescension. We have been literally laughed at and disregarded. This is a school of indoctrination not education. It is a school that teaches children to obey and not to question. If you are trying to find a private school because you're worried about the incompetency of our government and do not want to be forced to obey their arbitrary unscientific mandates and restrictions which are imposed on public schools, this is not the school for you and I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

I have had two daughters go through all the 3s, one will be in Pre-K in the fall and one was there in 2010-11. Not only is this a family owned and operated business, they manage to bring the staff, children (and their parents and siblings!) into their fold as an extended family as well. As is the case with all families, there are sometimes challenges. They are ALWAYS handled by the Director on down immediately and in a way that will always benefit the children. While I think everyone is entitled to their opinion and I will fight for your right to express it, I respectfully disagree with the negative comments written below. There is NO WAY any child was drug across a room or tied to a chair. Now I will agree that maybe what was seen was a child tripping and being caught or a game of Rapunzel "tying up" Flynn Ryder and I'm confident if asked the situation would be explained. As for the use of the word "teacher". I believe we all use that word pretty freely. From Sunday School "teachers' to Music Class "teachers" to Ballet "teachers", I would guess most of those "teachers" do not have any type of teaching degree but, it does make it a heck of a lot easier to explain who they are to our children. Also, afternoon in any pre-school is not the educational time of the day. Academics are always in the morning, while the afternoon is for fun and let's face it, day care. And who better to play with the children than teenagers - that's why they are so often hired as babysitters, right? I can't speak to the movies being shown but again, there are exceptions to every rule and it seems that this could have been solved easily by sending in a few movies from home since they only watch them on Fridays. Also, in all the classes we have been in any PG movie that was sent in for Special Movie day was replaced by a classroom video and all the children understood why they could not watch it. We only have one more year left at Young Life and just writing that makes me sad. I can't imagine any parent, who is truly looking for a wonderful foundation to their child's academic career while still maintaining family values and open lines of communication would find anything less than perfection at this school!!

Parking is no issue with a large private lot. The instructions to get inside the building and to the classroom was relatively simply. We had class today and I was super impressed with how engaging Ms. Jess is. She crawled over to my baby throughout class and really made an effort to engage with her despite my daughter being being seeming unenthused. She was great at keeping everyone engaged and made sure to give each child individual attention. Admittedly, as it was my first class and we started several weeks after everyone else, I felt a little silly dancing around with my baby in my hands. But knowing I signed her up for a music class that would benefit her, however slightly at this age, made it all worth it. I loved all the props and the various stations to clean the instruments that little mouths and sticky hands explored. I am looking forward to next week and the remainder of the sessions we are signed up for!
