Having come from a different growing zone, I am very appreciative of their shared local experiences. This establishment has become my favorite source for all things flora. The quality is unmatched in Fayetteville, and the prices are competitive. For comparable plants I would be paying nearly double at larger retailers. In addition to vegetables, flowers, and herbs, we purchased our Christmas tree here in 2012. Historically we have cut down our own tree, but due to illness were unable to last year. We were thrilled with the lot's selection. The trees were healthy and had only been cut down two weeks prior--and this was the week before the holiday. We might be changing the tradition again this year.

I have soured this year on these folks. In the past they've been really great, friendly and…read moreknowledgeable. We loved buying trees, shrubs etc here. And every year I would buy my beloved tarragon from them. It's an important herb in my culinary repertoire so I always make sure to have my name on a list at Gulley's to be contacted when it comes in and put ten plants aside for me. As well this year as I have done every year for nine years, I call each Monday as herb deliveries come in to check if it is in. Each week they said it will probably be in next week. Well it came in, no call, no put aside plants on a Friday. Monday I called and they had sold it all and would not be getting more. It really sucked. I scoured every grower in Nc with no luck. Finally Big bloomers in Tramway got a small shipment. So I bought from them. Unfortunately theirs was from seed which will not grow to any usable size. Good tarragon is grown from grafts. This might seem like a minor gripe to some but it truly sucked. I'd like to continue patronizing them but I feel it might be more advantageous to go direct to their grower and track their shipments in the state. So for now....bye bye Gulleys

Told me their truck/supplier had not run yet. Whatever that means, you don't have any fresh flowers on hand?, Sorry we don't have any sir. A florist that doesn't have fresh flowers. As I looked around there wasn't much of anything really. More silk flowers for dead folks than anything. And though she was nice. She really didn't seem concerned whether I bought anything or not, I was in town visiting. So I didn't know where to go. I called a cousin she told me to go the one on Broad St, I left and went around the corner to Broad Street to another florist they were more than happy to help me and sent fresh flowers out for me within a couple of hours, My cousin laughed at me when I told her where I went first. She said most everyone here uses the one on Broad St and so she wasn't surprised that the other florist couldn't help me, I think the name of the one I liked and ended up using was St Pauls Flowers. Special Moments was kind, patient, and handled everything over the phone to include accepting my credit card payment. The lady who helped me even felt the need to apologize for my experience with the other incompetent and disrespectful florist even though she had no part in that interaction. I would recommend them as your go to florist for St. Pauls, NC. They are very professional and know how to assist customers no matter the circumstance.
