This was a way better experience than I expected based on the reviews. It's not a huge station, but…read morethere were around 12 pumps, and the one we pulled up to was in normal working order. There was enough space to navigate with our SUB while pulling a trailer, although carefully depending on how poorly the cars were parked in front of the store. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with all your normal necessities. Bonus points that the toilets, sinks, and paper towels were all touchless. There was a reasonable, but not overwhelming, assortment of snacks and drinks. There were several self-checkouts which meant no waiting in line once our selections were made. There was a subway that we didn't try and a Chester's that had great fried chicken and biscuits literally straight out of the oven. I'd stop again just for the potato wedges. Nothing was astonishingly amazing (except maybe the food from Chester's), but everything was very serviceable. The only negative was gas was quite a bit more than the travel stops ~15 miles in either direction.

I don't understand that they welcome RVs but they don't have accommodations for them to get gas. We hit the pole next to the pump and bent our wheel well on the trailer. People were patient and very nice trying to help. BUT there are those people that are your in a predicament and still they have to be first.

"Red" button as I departed. Coffee was stocked though the attendant felt that now was the time to tidy and clean up. Okay, I worked around him and was able to get a large coffee creamered and through the ground-to-order machine. And then it went sideways. The young lady in front of me at the register was redeeming lottery tickets and the one young man was overwhelmed. As he continued trying to sort it out unsuccessfully, the line grew and grew. Now eight people waiting and for the first time ever, I abandoned the coffee. Maybe he's fine at keeping the store running when everything's good but he needs way more help with the lottery machine. Disappointing experience this morning. I'm not done with Love's - they're usually awesome - and I will eventually return to this one when I'm passing through Jackson. Hopefully they have this guy trained up by then. I don't feel right calling him out by name on Yelp. [Review 2303 of 2024 - 551 in Tennessee - 23318 overall]

if you need to use the bathroom, TURN AROUND. If you like run down gas stations that make you feel…read morelike a man with an axe is going to kill you while you pee, then I encourage you to go. First off, it is now called "the grass stop" which if it's supposed to be better marketing, it's a no. Second, the environment already feels weird, and as soon as you walk in you understand why. Run down, empty, and overall just not worth walking into. The employees were standoff-ish, and there may have been two people working. I couldn't tell. At least they have an IPad you can gamble on. The trail to the restroom is insane. Look at the pictures I provided because I am not lying when I say i thought I was going to get GOT. It's dark, old, smells horrible, and looks like it hasn't gotten anything new since 1960. The door to the bathroom doesn't open all the way, so if you have a disability or trouble walking it WILL BE a challenge. The door also doesn't lock, so bring someone with you to guard the door with their life. The toilet is on a platform, but the toilet paper is below it, and let's just say I almost ate the floor to wipe my bum. The writing on the wall doesnt help; not very comforting. They did have cameras, but not sure if they were for safety, or for personal gain. There was none in the room where the bathroom and employees only is. One positive is that the sink does function well! Overall, this quick stop turned into a life-long memory that ruined my day, and I will not be back.
