She was by herself with 4 kids all under 10. The nearest family was 7 hours away. Due to the positive google reviews we called Turpin's and they were all over it. They got them safely off the interstate and really went the extra mile to ensure they were safe and comfortable until help could arrive. Granted the fence isn't entirely enclosed to the ground however it's grassy, has picnic tables, poop bags and plenty of space for your fur babies to stretch their legs. They provide very close parking to the dog park so you can just hop out on road trips and maximize your time inside the park. I also love how clean the restrooms are and the fact they carry my favorite Clio bars! Nice break from the road with your fur baby!

They say they have showers, but I didn't dare investigate. To get to the bathroom you walk through a closed-down restaurant, which feels less like a truck stop and more like a post-apocalyptic scavenger run. The hot case food looks like it was cooked days ago and left on display until someone's brave enough to gamble their GI tract. Even the prepackaged stuff and milk had expiration dates in the rearview mirror. Oh, and yes, there's a motel attached with weekly rates -- if that doesn't paint the picture, nothing will.
