I spent 3 years in braces when I was a teenager but got lazy about wearing my retainers in college and my teeth shifted. I came in because I had developed a little crowding on the top and bottom and wanted to get it fixed. I was not interested in traditional metal braces (been there done that) so I was interested in other options. Dr. Merson suggested a spring aligner as a cheaper, more adaptable option than Invisalign. I saw almost immediate results and am now in an Essex style retainer to get the last small movements. I love his attention to detail. I only had a few small problems to fix so this attention to detail has been so important to my treatment. A lessor orthodontist could have called it good long ago but Dr. Merson has continued working to get me my perfect Hollywood smile. As an adult I also appreciate that at every appointment he discusses the progress with me. We never fails to give me a good idea of how things are going and discuss future options. The only downside to this office is that they are not open everyday (although they seem to be in the office much more frequently now than in the past). However, everyone at the office is very nice and I have had excellent luck scheduling appointments even on short notice.

But again that is what you get when you use a Medicaid orthodontist. The people were nice but the way he did and placed my grandsons braces was wrong and really messed up the way my grand sons teeth moved in his mouth.
