This review is of the restaurant Belvedere. First off, I spoke with 2 different people on the phone to try and get an emailed menu with prices as the hotels website doesn't have anything, nothing ever was received a disappointing service from a top hotel in the world. So let me say this, for lunch the average was about 40 euro pp. The menu dishes were cheaper, but there was a service charge and obviously anything you drink costs money. The food was good. The ravioli was a perfect ravioli, it didn't deliver anything special just really traditional flavor. The pizza was a little disappointing as it was served warm, with cold toppings the combination of hot and cold, didn't work for me. And the most disappointing was a tuna nicoise salad, you would think a restaurant like this would be supplied sashimi quality tuna that it can serve rare. The tuna was overcooked and lacked the flavor of that of a rare tuna salad. However the overall experience was fine, as even for such a fine restaurant it was very casual at lunch time and the views it offers were breath taking. We were able to run all over the property and take photos. read more
