We stayed here for 1 night to be near the airport and Ayala mall. Just be aware that you cannot bring in outside food. There were X-ray machines at the front entrance and at the rear casino entrance. They do provide you with a few complimentary snacks and beverages in your room. The hotel is part of a resort complex, City of Dreams, with a casino and a shopping mall. The mall is so small with only a handful of shops and restaurants. The pool and garden area is huge. It is shared with the other two hotels. Nobu Restaurant can be accessed on the same level. The problem was there were no actual seating in the garden area, only in the pool and outdoor restaurant. Our main problem was our room was too dimly lit. It was very hard to see inside our luggages. The shower stall had no door. At least, the bathroom was well lit. The two elevators were quite busy at times. That is probably why there were benches in front or near elevators at certain levels. At least we have tried this place, we have to find a different place for next time. read more

We're crazy about staying here every time we're in Manila. I think we've stayed here three times, and we were equally impressed at each visit. Everything is SPOTLESS. The service is the best you can ever get. They put so much effort in great service, gorgeous decorations all over the hotel, and cleanliness. I'd give it 10 stars if I could! And the best part is... drum roll... The Nobu restaurant. It's the same Nobu chain as the ones in Los Angeles/Malibu/Newport Beach and so on. The sushi is EXCELLENT. Just like the ones out in LA and Malibu, if not better. The fish is so fresh every time and the service is excellent! Hey, Ma! I've made it. Nobu Hotel is part of the gargantuan complex that is known as the City of Dreams. Staying here feels like a Las Vegas weekend getaway: casino at the main floor, fun live band every night at Centerplay, a relaxing pool oasis with your very own pool boy (!!!) and proximity to Mall of Asia is a huge plus. I love the zen theme throughout the hotel from the clean lines, wooden touches in the bathroom, the fluffy King sized bed, complimentary welcome fruit, the views of the hotel pool from our room on the 8th floor, the complimentary shuttle to MOA, the beautiful reception staff, respectful housekeepers and the very luxe touches in your mini bar area. Everything is tastefully done and feels ultra high end. You want to feel like a queen bee for the day? book a room here and you'll definitely know how it feels to be a celebrity! We didn't book a room here. For some reason, our taxi driver took us to the wrong side as we were supposed to check in to the Hyatt COD. As we were about to check in we realized that we were in the wrong hotel. Regardless, the staff here were so amazing and they treated us with the greatest amount of respect. They were so loving to my 7 month and 4 y/o daughters. Once we realized that we were on the wrong side, they arranged for their local driver to drive us to the other side. They even arranged for our luggage to be delivered at the correct hotel. By being dropped off here by mistake and having been given the best courtesy ever, they have earned our business. We will definitely be booking a room for our next trip here. Thank you NOBU, we appreciate what you did for us, even though we were here in error, you made our short interaction a memorable event. I'll give Nobu a 5-Star rating for the comfort and service their staff delivers. Our entire COD experience is awesome. We stayed in their suites. Sometimes you have to splurge a little, this is that time. Everyone 's goal is for you to have a great experience and they're successful in doing so. We didn't experience any issues. You will not get dehydrated, there are a lot of bottled waters in your room. Traveling from abroad that helps a lot. For some reason we felt it wasn't crowded unlike the other hotel/casino/resort we checked in last time we visited Manila. At first we thought that's something negative but it turned out it was great since you don't have to deal with a big crowd. My wife and I don't gamble so the bands performing every night at Centerplay is really great. Each bands unique and they 're really great and entertaining. If you have kids they have Dreamplay which features Dreamworks characters and your kids can have a whole day fun (wall climbing, cooking lessons- yes cooking lessons and others) for P800 (~$16). You can stay at the comfort of CIty Of Dreams premises as well since they have restaurants, banks, convenience store and of course a shuttle service to take you to and from Mall Of Asia if things get expensive The experience is worth it. Yup they opened Nobu Hotel Manila on May 2015 which is located inside a huge integrated resort, City Of Dreams Manila... It delivers luxury to a country which has seen a steady economic growth over the years! We stayed here for a couple of nights and loved it! Hotel staff were professional, and our room had a pool view as well. Our welcome fruit platter was not as great as I expected... I was looking forward to native and local fruits, but we got a kiwi, apple, and pear....(no ripe & sweet, Filipino mangoes..:( ) Apparently my mom said most of the exotic Filipino fruits were not in season yet (maybe that's why). Anyhow, we spent some time at the casino and also dined at the Nobu restaurant downstairs! The local bands that perform in the casino are all very good. We also took advantage of the complimentary shuttle ride from City Of Dreams to MOA! The shuttles are all new and comfortable. I got some souvenir shopping done after gambling, lol! Nobu is supposed to be a classy and respectable establishment with high quality service yet, the guards and some staff (at the gym) need more training. They make visitors feel very uncomfortable. I was checked in and had to go down one night (in my sleeping clothes) to get my swimming gears from my dad who drove to hand them to me. And the guards were so either stupid or powertripping. As Nobu won't hire stupid security, I guess they're powertripping. I clearly came from the hotel (nobody else was going out/coming in) and my dad was waiting at the entrance door (already passed the checking system). Sharon Lacopia, the female security guard had to make everything so complicated. Mind you, my dad was just handing me my swim stuff. Common Sense is crucial in their job, and I imagine, an average IQ. You already checked the contents of the bag, my dad is going back to his car and Im wearing pajamas.. and you're giving Nobu's Guest a HARD TIME. Being in the service industry, you should know that dealing with by visitors and making them feel safe and welcome is part of the job. NOBU City of Dreams, please add more training to these stuck up and powertripping staff. I know that they should do their job, but make sure to use your brains and priority is to make the guests not feel offended, annoyed, and unsafe. Every hardworking and productive Metro Manila professional deserves a "staycation" once in a while. As my boss would call it, "a Pattern Interrupt." It would be safe to say that Nobu Hotel at the City of Dreams Manila can provide you that. Before deciding to book a room, I had been to City of Dreams a few times already. Having a world-renowned reputation for quality, I was really curious to see for myself what the Nobu experience is all about. Check-in was relatively a breeze and there was no need for an extended wait despite a busy afternoon in the lobby. Nobu's Zen theme all over the place is a nice soothing touch. The moment you enter the room, a nice cherry blossom visual displayed on the room's high-definition flat screen welcomes you. It literally does, as it has your name on it through a personalized greeting. I was given a room with a view of the pool and garden. Upon raising the blinds, I couldn't wait to go for a swim and a stroll. For a basic room (Nobu Deluxe), it was pretty spacious, as there was enough room for a sofa by the window and a working area to go with the king size bed. You will also notice a striking Zen-like Japanese graphic on the wall that adds up to the experience. The room of course had the other usual amenities like an iPod dock, a bedside phone, guestroom safe, and Wi-Fi access. There really wasn't anything not to like during the stay. The City of Dreams Mall area was a walk away, the pool area had a relaxing vibe, the service was good, and the food at the famous restaurant downstairs was just wonderful (details will be for another review). read more

I loved this hotel! I've been to the place several times to check out their famous restaurant and to see what's up but I stayed here for the first time last week. It really was worth every cent spent on the booking. We booked two rooms, the deluxe and the executive suite for a family event. I love the chocolate brown and cream colors. The neutral scheme is relaxing as are the Japanese-inspired decor. This hotel is co-owned by actor/director Robert De Niro so you know they really did a great job furnishing and marketing the place. I can't say enough good things about the super comfortable beds! Best sleep I've had in the last 3 to 4 years. Make sure you also check out the pool and deck area, very nice. read more

Very pleasant service! The hotel staff is super nice, they certainly know hospitality. We stayed here for one night before we caught our flight to Cebu. The rooms were nice chic, clean, and well decorated. They have a few restaurant options to choose from. The buffet breakfast was included and it was delicious. They had a ton of choices from Filipino dishes to other Asians options and American ones. The pool and outdoor area was really pretty. My only complaint is the pool closes so early. We gambled and lost track of time and went to hit the pool before it closed :(. They even closed 15 min early so I didn't even get to take a quick dip to cool off. read more

Jaw Dropping, Beyond Expectations Review of Nobu Hotel Manila November 7, 2018, we arrived at Nobu Hotel. We picked this particular destination because we live in Las Vegas and we were lucky enough to check in at Nobu Hotel inside Ceasar's Palace. We figured, heck let's give it a try. We were in for a surprise! Not only that the hotel was very beautiful but the service was unmatched by its American counterpart. Valet service was efficient, and the bellman was already there picking up our luggage. Check in was a breeze, but since we arrived 9am, the room wasn't ready. After touring the property, by 11am, the room became available, and I was notified via email. Front desk was very professional. Every detail was explained and we were escorted to our room by a well dressed lady. Bell service showed up on our doorstep within minutes and even modified the AC temp to our preference. We then hit the pool. Pool staff was all over us, without being intrusive. Our bottled water was constantly replaced, and our fruit kebobs were ensured to stay frozen (the moment they melted, they replaced it, the moment we ate them, they replaced it). You will be dazzled by the beauty of city of dreams while in the pool, most especially at night. The staff quickly learned to address us by our last names. It's always Mr./Mrs. C., anywhere we went. Or sir/ma'm every time we communicated our wishes. When we had our room cleaned, everything was reset to high standards. My swim shorts were folded, and hung to dry. My wife's cosmetics were rearranged. Our fruit platter was replaced. All toiletries were replaced as if a new guest was arriving. We were so impressed, my wife ordered me to hunt the housekeeper down. Luckily he was just doing the room next door. I asked him if he did our room. I almost laughed because the guy probably thought I was going to yell at him, like he did something wrong. He brightened up because I gave him a handsome tip. (I never had to do that before). Shuttle service to Mall of Asia was complimentary, quick and stress-free. They have a comfy waiting area for passengers to sit. Anyone staying here should hit the gym and spa. Anyone staying should book a massage. We were treated to a 1.5 hour blissful treatment, called Unity. Me and the wife were sat down, with snacks, quick orientation by the masseuse and choice of massage oils before the treatment began. We were ushered to our ultra-lux treatment room where we had our own shower room, toiletries set-up, foot spa chairs, massage tables and bathrobes. Wife even used the disposable underwear supplied to avoid oils getting on her Victoria's Secret. Meditation music was already on. The masseuses only whispered, making it a point to just check on their pressure levels, and never chatted unnecessarily. My wife tells me I was snoring a few times during the session. It was 11pm, and I was just knocked out. As if the pampering never ends, we were treated with teas right outside the treatment room. We were ushered back to our room and within two minutes, our post-massage dinner (included in the package) was brought in. We were treated to a light chicken bao-bun with papaya salad. Tea and juices were served, and a light cheesecake to end the night. We finished, and with one call, the staff whisked away our room service table without incident. We were just dazed and enchanted that we do not even remember how we landed on our beds. Twice, we were able to eat breakfast at the tower adjacent to ours. For non-locals, try the taho! (ask the staff on how to eat it). For locals, try taho! We were so elated that this childhood treat is part of their spread. Again, the attention to detail was stellar. The moment we stood up for seconds, staff quickly replaced our silver ware, and even refolded our napkins. You come back to your table and it will be entirely brand new again. You have an omelette station and a pancake station. Try the french toast, and you will be treated with some cream filling that is surprisingly good! Newspapers were everywhere and staff will greet you by addressing you as Mr./Mrs. I was young when I left for the US, and its quite amusing to think that I only saw my parents being treated that way when I was growing up. Now, it's my turn! I am now the dude having breakfast next to executives, in the heart of Manila, being addressed as Mr. C., reading the morning paper, having coffee, eating french toast, in one of the country's top-notch hotels called Nobu, City of Dreams! But I'm also reviewing with 5 stars to negate that 1 star review that sniveling, whiney, twerpy, snowflake Nuvee N. dropped. All his reviews are single stars and give no props to great companies and service. Shows what a negative Nancy this guy is and no one can expect his opinion to hold any merit or credibility. He drops the "my White friends" "my Filipina-American wife" card in his posts. All laughable and I hope Nobu absolutely does not dignify his complaint with a reply. This guy has some real self identity issues if he's got to scream the ethnicity of the company he surrounds himself with. The locals are smiling a toothy grin right at your angry face because it's customary to smile at a douchebag while he's angry. Sorry to hear about your "total meltdown" lmao. Build up some tougher skin, you give us "Asian-Americans" a bad name. My experience was wonderful! All you'd expect from a 5 star hotel however my only complaint was the smell. The place is soo clean which is a good thing of course- you'll always visibly see someone cleaning but, you can't get rid of the smell of cigarettes from the casino area so it literally smells like the citrus cleaning agent + cigarettes.
