This daycare was ok until my son started having "breath holding spells " so often that the last episode was 3 in one hour . We had a full work up done on our son, and doctors couldn't figure out what was going on, but said some kids do that, however he had never done that in front of us nor in front of the doctors. His teachers were great and sweet to him, but something was not right and we don't know what. We moved him to Primrose in May 2025 (he had been at BES since he was about 3 or 4 months until about 11 months). He never had one single episode there and has been thriving. The director mentioned several parents had moved over there from BES and I did in fact run into a parent I knew that told me her son had a bad diaper rash and was even bleeding. He also had a giant goose egg and they didn't know how he got it. The little kid even told his mom was the "mean teacher" (mom said teacher is no longer there. My husband and I were told there were cameras , and when we asked about them they "hadn't been set up yet." The regional director told us she would call us to talk about the passing out spells (his lips would turn blue sometimes) and she didn't call. My current daycare is closing at the end of June, and as a result it sent me on a hunt for new childcare services. I have seen many negative reviews for BES online although I am well aware that people typically ONLY post about negative experiences - so I took it with a grain of salt and pushed forward. I have friends who have used BES in the past and the feedback from actual parents was 50/50, so I wanted to give them a shot. Having used 2 other facilities in the area, I understand that everyone's opinions/expectations with childcare are very different and went into this all with a very open mind. I have been actively trying to get my children's enrollment lined out since May 26th when I first spoke to someone on the phone... and it has been nothing but trouble since. I was told after the first call, I'd get a call back to validate our enrollment completion and registration fees settled - and received no call back. Again, open minded - I proceeded to schedule a tour online. I went to tour the facility on 6/2, and paid my registration fees afterwards to hold my children's spots. I was told by the woman at the front desk that the online system for enrollment paper work was giving them trouble, and that she would have to check with 'so-and-so' to find the forms and they'd call me the following Monday to touch base and make sure they had everything they needed. Again, no callback happened. While I was there taking care of the registration fees in the front office, I could hear a young toddler/older infant having a meltdown.. one of the office ladies walked back in and stated "if anyone wants to cuddle with a little one, sounds like there is one in there that needs it!" and she proceeded to go back to laminating and cutting paper. Again, I know how kids are and took it with a grain of salt - maybe the kid is sick? Having a rough morning? Teacher busy changing a diaper? It happens - right! Still tried to push forward with an open mind. All that to say... My kids were slated to start in July and with only 1 week until their start date, no one has called me. I proactively reached out again yesterday via email to validate our enrollment was completed and figure out how to set up payments for our tuition. I then received a response asking me to take care of the registration fees (already paid on 6/2), and complete the enrollment paperwork (which was completed 3 weeks ago). I have had to follow up countless times, with continued lapses in communication on BES's end. I can't speak to how they care for their children, aside from my single experience while there for a tour. I cannot speak to the teacher's quality or how they educate. However as a momma who has her stuff together and tries to be proactive in resolving stuff like this - the experience with enrollment was extremely poor. They seem very unorganized and as if the office staff does not communicate effectively. I am choosing to not enroll my children here based on the experience with enrollment alone. I am losing out on our registration fees.. although that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. I had a bad feeling about all of this after the first missed call-back, and am choosing to go with my gut feeling and avoiding BES in the future. read more

My children attended daycare here for 2 years. Outside of a select few teachers that had the children's best interest at heart, I do not have much positive to say. 1. The front office staff was generally uninformed about policies and overly focused on highly dramatic private conversations with other parents and co-workers rather than attending to parents waiting to speak with them. My car was hit 2 times in the dangerous fiasco they call a parking lot and while they have cameras 'footage was not available' for either incident. 2. A member of my family hit a sharp corner on a poorly placed cabinet in his classroom resulting in an urgent care visit and stitches. One year later, no precautions had been taken to prevent further accidents and my son caught the same cabinet, missing his eye by less than an inch. Their negligence resulted in 3 hours at the emergency room and over $250 in medical bills. Not once were we contacted by the director about this incident and as of late August no corrective action had been taken to prevent another child from being injured. 3. My oldest son attended their 'certified kindergarten ready' Pre-K program. He is now in his 3rd month of kindergarten and severely struggling. This was a huge shock to us as the progress reports provided by BES repeatedly showed that my son was meeting and exceeding their ciriculum expectations. As you can imagine, we were rather dissatisfied to learn that our son and 2 other students who attended their Pre-K program now get pulled from class to attend weekly tutoring sessions to help make up for the lack of instruction they received in Pre-K. 4. Their 'state mandated' restrictions on what food children can bring are beyond ridiculous. While the handbook vaguely bans certain foods, each teacher chooses if / when they will enforce it. Some kids can have kolaches and chocolate milk for breakfast while other kids are told popcorn is unhealthy. On more than one occasion my children were refused a portion of their lunch or not even provided the option to eat it because of a teachers preference. This ranged from fresh fruit to cheese sticks. And, while not barred in the handbook my children went hungry. (Ironically our new daycare does not have and has never heard of 90% of these supposed 'state mandated' food regulations.) I can most certainly say that I regret sending my children here for the length of time they attended. I tried numerous times to find other options but most schools that boasted similar "qualifications" had long waiting lists. We ultimately went outside of Belton to find another option and while the price is slightly higher, the hands on curriculum + truly caring staff / director is a night and day difference from BES. read more

The teacher my son had was amazing however the owner is kind of like the other small business owners in this crappy little town...they pre-judge you and think that you are beneath them. It's so beyond sad because you can not judge someone by the color of their skin because I can promise you that the level of class we carry outweighs the amount of our monetary worth. I've heard numerous parents tell me the owner is down right rude and unprofessional to them and her staff. The employee turnaround is horrible sadly due to this woman's narcissistic leadership. Sticking your hand up in an adults face why they are asking you a question is why I'm here. If you want something better for your child I highly recommend you seek other child care and there's plenty believe it or not! This place constantly smells like poop and has a dirty feel. Follow up to the owner: You actually knew a month in advance that my husband lost his job and his mother would not return the child from a weekend visit. When the child was finally returned you made us pay a new registration fee all while still receiving weekly payments during this very difficult time. Your response doesn't make sense, why would someone keep repeating that they weren't paying you? You're response is exactly like I initially wrote, you lack class. I also see you failed to touch on all the other issues with your dare care center and stuck with my husband. Your center has a reputation in this town and that won't change! read more

It's a shame - this place used to be much better but went seriously downhill. the new management is horrendous and just simply doesn't care. The childcare became so bad we had to pull our kids out in the middle of summer when childcare is impossible to find. The older children are left in an overcrowded empty building with little to no supervision. On two separate occasions I picked up my daughter with either a bruise or cut on her face with no one there to give an explanation as to what happened. Dozens of times I picked her up with absolutely no one supervising them (20+ kids). They are also not education focused at all. They have very rapid personnel changeover and none of the care providers are educator certified. Their pre-K program did nothing to prepare my son for Kindergarten at all, and they changed his group frequently as personnel quit. I wouldn't bring my children back to this place even if you paid me. read more

Would Not recommend this Daycare.... the staff smell like a cigarettes.... when I decided to sit in the classroom 1 morning the staff would not talk to me and when I try to talk to her it was like pulling teeth for her to answer me.... she also stating she wasn't use to working in the classroom my baby was in..(weird since it is a Daycare) another weird thing is that there isn't a code for parents to come in you have to call to let them know your there and than they let you in (so not surprise pop up) long story short I had to take him out of this Daycare when I watched him scream,cry and kick to get away from the staff (he had been in Daycare before we moved here) but now we are at another Daycare and the fright and despair he had has slowly lifted from his little face ... He is enjoying going to Daycare again read more

We were denied childcare here due to my child's type 1 diabetes. For those who don't know the difference it's an autoimmune disease where the pancreas stops producing insulin causing the person to become insulin dependent.. *not type 2.... the first and only daycare that has refused care... she also mentioned they are going to a medication free school so sorry if your child has asthma or an epipen for any allergic reactions. read more

completely unprofessional director. my son loved going here the first couple months until he got moved up to a different class, after that he's had a few bad days with no explanation other than "he just started throwing chairs" when talking to the teacher the director interrupted multiple times saying "your child has a problem" and saying he can't be here if he's acting this way. when explaining to her "well he doesn't do this outside of here,, that's why I'm talking to the teacher to figure out whats going on" she turns around and starts walking away saying "yeah he does and he can't stay here." long story short, he won't be going here anymore and the director is completely useless when it comes to any kind of critical thinking or coming to a resolution for the child. completely unprofessional and shows no care for the development of the kids. I will say the first teacher he had here was great and I had no issues/complaints during that time. read more
