The security guard got extremely aggressive for absolutely no reason. We stood outside the bar while waiting for our freinds and without warning he started yelling and attacking us as we tried to explain that we were waiting for our friends. He was quite a robust man and unable to control his anger which there was no reason to have. He slapped, grabbed, and yelled at us for 0 reason. I would NOT recommend this bar due to the uncontrolled temper of this man. Look for another bar. read more

Belushi's was my first stop for food and drink when I got to Barcelona. Located right next to our hostel, we wanted somewhere we could England play in the World Cup. The atmosphere in here was electric for the game. Everyone was excited and the drinks were flowing. If you're staying in the hostel, they have deals on food and drink. My personal favorite thing here was the patatas bravas. This started my addiction to them that lasted the entire time I was in Barcelona. read more

Patatas brava were great. The wings were awful. I ordered 10 buffalo wings and they tasted like they were tossed in ketchup. Absolutely dreadful, had to stop eating them. This was an Uber eats order, so them not being hot was expected, but the flavor alone was horrid. read more

5.4.17: Do you ever want to just go back to your college days and hang out/drink with random folks? Above Belushi's is a hostel, so lots of visitors/tourists. We came on a night where there were drink specials. It was 2 Euro Shots, 3 Euro Mix Drinks, 2/3 Euro Wine until midnight. I do like the atmosphere. Met some random gals to play beer pong with. I didn't eat here so don't know about the food. This is a great place for "i don't care, I'm on vacation" type of place. It has the college feel, so rowdy/loud/drunk people everywhere, and it was fun. If you're in the area I would say check it out. Drinks can be pricey without specials, so better go during that time. read more

Been here multiple times throughout the year. Each trip offers different opportunities to go wrong. Today, we came in for lunch. We are currently going on 40+ minutes for nachos and fish and chips. Upon asking the bartender/ order taker, we came to find out that they only had one cook in and some people were experiencing two hour waits. Overall, this place offers fairly good American-ish foods, if you're lucky enough to have an incident-free experience which seems to be a highly improbable event. read more

It's midnight on Saturday and I just left this bar. Or rather, I was thrown out because of a mess that involved machismo and lack of respect of the manager and the DJ, who were aggressive in different ways with me. I'm a journalist, I live in Barcelona and I don't usually go to these touristic places. I went because it was my master's graduation celebration and I wanted to be with my other 30 friends. We took 30 people to this place and the manager just kicked me out after a misunderstanding he didn't fully witness. What happened is that I went to talk to the DJ to know if I could ask him for a song. My group wanted something more danceable, and that kind of interaction with the DJ is very common where I come from or in a lot of places I've been. I talked him very politely if I could ask him for a song. He said no and turned away, leaving me practically talking to myself. The, from nowhere, another man appeared and started yelling at me, telling me to get out of where I was. He had the mask halfway across his face and it was up to me to put it in place so he could talking to me properly. He kept yelling and telling me to get out of there, told me I couldn't talk to the DJ and I intercepted him, told him I wasn't talking to him and he couldn't talk to me like that. That he was being rude and had nothing to do with the previously conversation. He didn't introduce himself, I don't know who he was until now, but he was extremely rude and aggressive. He came at me in a super rude way and I defended myself, even though he said that "he could talk to me any way he wanted". He also corrected my english-this whole discussion took place in english, and he told me to get out of place. I was so outraged that I took two steps and turned around to talk to him again and say that he was very rude and, in the end, the songs weren't good and my people just wanted to enjoy the night. Well, this man I'll never know who he is called the manager, who without introducing himself, asking me what had happened or anything like that, threw me out of the house. He threatened me that he was going to call the police. I tried to explain what had happened and he informed me that I "assaulted" his bar staff. I told him I was just defending myself from a totally gratuitous assault. The manager of this bar compared my discussion with this person I don't know who he is to the example of two guys fighting and hitting each other. When I said it was totally different things and he was being unfair, he just turned around, called the bar security guy and ordered this third man to get me out of there. Well, I've been to a lot of football bars, DJ music clubs and reasonably ok drinks like these. I was never treated this way. NEVER. Before they say it, I wasn't drunk: I had two shots of vermut and a coup of cava, and a salad (very poorly made and offered by the house in a combo with drinks). Clearly I was the victim of two events here: first, a huge machismo situation, which started with this man who didn't even bother to identify himself, yelling at me for nothing. Second, for the manager, who cared little about what happened, he didn't try to find out and, of course, he supported his friend. Chauvinism works like that, doesn't it? Well, if you come to beautiful Barcelona to enjoy the post-Covid life, please DON'T GO THERE. In addition to having my English corrected by this citizen who never introduced himself - even though I am in Spain and have no obligation to speak his language - there are SEVERAL OTHER PLACES BETTER, CHEAPER AND WITH MORE QUALITY for you to enjoy. Bars like this are totally outdated, just as the extreme chauvinism I spent inside this house. For me, it's nothing because I will never come to this place again. But I know it's the address for many tourists. So, if you're in Barcelona - and specially if you are a woman - just DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. Check Time Out Barcelona and discover a lot of other tradicional, good, healthy and respectful bar to visit. Probably the most stylish hostel bar I've ever been in. Cheap drinks and specials every day: 2 for one beers and vodka's type deals. Good American style restaurant food: wings, burgers, nachos fries, etc. Pool tables and lots of tv's. TV's were all showing american football while we were there so if you need to watch a game on ESPN America, this is a great spot. Lots of young travelers and a fun environment. Overall, just a great bar/restaurant when you're looking for a break from Tapas and need some good 'ol american style food to remind you of home. read more

I stayed at St. Christopher's Inn and got a discount every time I ate at Belushi's, which wasn't really necessary because everything was so cheap anyway. It was the best hostel bar I saw in 4 months--full bar, drink specials every night, local beers, helpful staff, and wonderful food. The spring roll appetizer was filling and the perfect portion to have with a drink. They were crisp and not too greasy, and the dipping sauce was great. I also had a burger with pineapple, bacon, beet root, and a fried egg. What's that, you say? You'd never try beet root or an egg on a burger? Well, you're seriously missing out, then, because this was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The fries weren't anything special, but they were done right. Try an Amstel beer with your burger, there's sometimes a 2 for 1 special for them. Great seating inside and out, great vibe and atmosphere. read more

Staying as a guest I was told I would get 25% off drinks at the bar, but all the bar tenders are insistent that is not the case

Worst food ever. Ordered ribs, you can tell they were boiled and BBQ sauce slathered on. Just aweful! Also had nachos very little cheese and lots of chips , ugh. Gave it one star because bartender was awesome! I dont recommend anyone coming here. :( read more

The best place to go, the ambiance is really friendly and the food is really good for the price, a completed burger for just 6€ with french fries, and you can get water for free, so its super cool. And there is also a big lounge where you can relax with your laptop or play ping pong, so actually super cool!!! read more

I had high hopes for this spot as they were one of the few places to show American football games on Sunday. We arrived, they said due to rain, the satellite feed was down. We came back later, the bartender was the only positive thing about this place. She was sweet and helpful. We ordered nachos and the pork ribs. The nachos arrived, unspectacular. A bunch of stale corn chips with a few spoonfuls of chopped tomatoes and a spoonful of sour cream. No cheese, nothing. The ribs arrived. Not smoked or grilled, but boiled and then a squirt of BBQ sauce in the middle of one piece. And the French fries that came with the plate were disgusting. Honestly, if you read my other reviews, I'm pretty easy to please. And I travel Europe constantly as part of my job. I don't expect to eat American type food everywhere, in fact I'd rather not. I love all the unique cultures and flavors of Europe. But if you are going to call yourself a pub and have pub grub on the menu, get it right for crying out loud! I should have known better than to expect anything decent out of a chain restaurant. I feel like I had a Chili's experience in the US! Avoid this place, there are so many wonderful places to eat in Barcelona. This isn't one of them. read more
