I found Lauren through Groupon. Making an appointment for the 80 minute Deep Tissue massage was easy online. Lauren was also responsive to email and text when I had questions. There's plenty of parking outside in the private lot. The 1 room massage studio is located on the 2nd floor of the building. It's clean and has a cozy, homey vibe. Lauren is sweet and soft spoken. I could tell she had a ton of massage experience. Lauren really knows how to pinpoint each area with the right amount of pressure. I felt that she put genuine care into the session. I like that my massage incorporated some cupping as well. The session really helped with my alignment and I feel like a whole new person. Would love to be back! Had a really wonderful massage today for my 29th birthday. Lauren was just what I needed. Lauren went the extra mile and gave me tips on how to lift weights appropriately going forth too. She also pinpointed my past injuries kindly but in a way only an expert in her field would do. (I didn't even bring them up! She's got Sherlock senses). She's a very holistic massage therapist. Highly recommend. Plus her dog, Kira is a bonus who added grounding and the occasional snore from down below. My only complaint is that her space is rather nondescript and somewhat confusing to find. 1 Star - Unprofessional and Unsettling I arrived on time and waited in the hall while the previous client left. As soon as they walked out, the therapist invited me in. I asked if she needed time to clean, and she said I could sit while she quickly remade the bed. A large pit bull came out from under the massage table for a pat--something I hadn't been warned about. I asked if the sheets had been changed. She immediately became irritated, tore the bed apart, and began remaking it erratically. The space felt unclean and chaotic, and I became increasingly uncomfortable. Trying to exit the situation calmly, I said, "I have dog allergies, so I don't think this is going to work." She replied, "Yes, I agree--I don't think you're a good fit." I left shortly after. Later, I received an unsolicited and defensive text stating: "FYI, places like Massage Envy only give a five minute... 5 MIN.!! turnaround... I've been doing massage for 25 years, so I got good at it. I'm also an excellent massage therapist, by the way, with 25 years experience!!" This response only reinforced the discomfort I felt. Between the rushed setup, lack of professionalism, and reactive communication, I cannot recommend this practitioner. read more

Called multiple times to set up appointment and was told I'd receive a call back to schedule and never did. Terrible service, waste of time and money. Would rate negative stars if I could. read more

Lauren is lovely and kind lady. I've been going for deep tissue massage for a couple years now. She always gives me a great massage. She's educated and corrected me on how I should lift weights. Since I do HIT , TRX and Yoga. so, I could overdo it at time. When work out I think about engaging my muscle with good alignment .working smarter is the way to go. I bought a Groupon for the 80 min massage. I was pleasantly surprised to meet Kira- Lauren's dog. I love dogs and she was so well behaved. She laid under the table and lightly snored which was so relaxing. Lauren did cupping which I hadn't ever done before. She is very knowledgeable and wants to help you. This place selling Groupon online for 50 minutes deep tissue massage, so I purchased. When get there, what she (therapist) did is brutally cupping my back until all red now, she also put very hot towel on my neck, un-professional. There no deep tissue massage, what she did maybe just massage for 2 minutes, and cupping. It didn't mention on Groupon about cupping. I never do cupping, and its hurt for me since I have another health issues. She also only do the session 30 minutes instead 50 minutes, there no deep tissue massage at all. She also have a big dog (pitbul) under massage table, I think kinda weird if a place call "SPA" but have a dog under massage table, how if people allergy with dog hair ? BEWARE.. this place not SPA, but cupping place and cheated the timing, there no such deep tissue massage, only 30 minutes cupping. read more

The massage therapist has her pit bull in the room, which has a strong musty dog odor and is filled with dog bedding. She refuses to leash her dog or move him from the room. If you are not comfortable with dogs (let alone pit bulls!) do not come here! read more

The website wasn't showing any availability for a facial so I called Lauren, the owner, and booked directly with her. Went back and forth on text to confirm, she seemed confused and I said I wanted a certain date and she texted back confirming a different date. So had to correct her there and I did read some reviews that said she had messed up other bookings before so I was hesitant. Sure enough I show up for my scheduled appointment time and she had double booked and was not going to see me. Really disappointed, bad experience from the beginning! read more
