Best breakfast tacos in Texas! For more meat ask for the non mixed with egg serving. Homemade salsa is at the cashier when you check out.

I've always liked this gas station because it's consistently clean, modern, and well-maintained…read more The pumps are reliable, and the whole place feels updated not run down like some others. Back when I had a gas car, this was always a go-to stop. Now that I drive an EV, I was really impressed to see they've installed GM Energy dual chargers there are two of them, which makes a huge difference. It's so much more convenient than having to drive up the hill to that random charger near the hotel. I'm genuinely glad they added these. It's going to make my trips out to West Texas a lot smoother and less stressful.

This is a good stop and I highly recommend if your going west from here, that you stop here and get…read moreyour snacks and hot food because depending on the time of day, your not going to get what you want since everything in Ozona and Fort Stockton has a thing of "if the suns gone, they are gone" What I like about this gas station is the ability to have a self checkout because let's face it, we all have been stuck behind a guy playing the lottery before. They do have a subway and a subway to go with premade subs along with a Cinnabon and hot food like pizza and fried chicken. My boyfriend and I had the pizza which was good but be warn this gas station will call you out if your sitting down eating while parked at a pump (whoops that was us) I understand though because they were pressure washing around the pumps so there would be 2 pumps not able to be used at a time. Bathrooms were clean as well.

I stopped in here to put enough gas in my tank to get to Del Rio the next day when returning home…read morefrom Seminole Canyon State Park. I would be pulling a trailer and wanted a full tank, but the gas here was almost $3.00 a gallon. Some might think that is terrible, especially since San Antonio is sitting at $1.80 in some places this week, but I have no problem with it. Holley's is the only gas station in the area and, therefore, deserves the right to charge enough to stay in business. It must be a struggle out there. When you are from the big city and you see the words "Quick Stop", a big corner lot gas station with about 8 pumps and a mini grocery store comes to mind. That is not was Holly's is at all. In fact, if you didn't see the one pump out front of this non-assuming building, you wouldn't even know it was a gas station. I actually had to ask the server at the restaurant if they were still open. As I passed it earlier, there was a truck parked parallel to the pumps, making it totally impossible for me to get gas there. The server told me that some people do that and it annoys the owners of Holley's. Inside, the store is a little dark room with some old beer coolers and shelves with a small selection of different items. It reminded me of the stores you find at some camp grounds. I was there for beer, hoping that since the restaurant had Blue Moon, I would be able to at least get that. No luck. They didn't really have any good selections for a beer snob like me. I chose a six pack of George Killian's Irish Red. When I got to the counter, a very nice elderly lady (Holley?) told me that the beer was expired, so she was only going to charge me $8.00. I had checked the date at the cooler and saw it was only a little past. Besides, beer, unlike food, does not become dangerous when it is out of date. It merely loses some quality. I don't know how much she would have charged for fresh beer. I really didn't care. When you are the only place to buy beer, you get to set your prices. I don't whine about that. If you are passing through Comstock, stop in at Holley's. Even if you don't really want or need anything. Do it to support the local residents who need this place. If it closes its doors, they have no local place to buy gas or simple supplies.

Southwest Texas at its finest. Rural gas costing more than normal, but it's "Putin's" fault, right?…read moreIDK. Stop and purchase something if you have ever needed something on a road trip and a store was shut down. You realize how this place is very important. What I do know is you can get local flavor during morning coffee with good conversation. If, that is, when you are respectful and don't expect something other than traditional American viewpoints. Snowflakes and woke idiots please just buy a pizza, fill your tank, and don't say anything but pleasantries and your experience some quality hospitality.
