I was excited to visit this location. With me being on vacation, I made it part of my vacation plans to stop in & get my favorite dairy free treat. However, my experience was not the best and I'm not sure why. I was there on Saturday, June 14th & the interaction with the person behind the counter was... less than stellar. Now, sometimes what we as customers can encounter is a person going thru an array of issues that they, sadly, bring to the work place. So, I am not sure what the disconnect was with this person but he seemed to be... "exhausted" from me asking questions. Additionally, he over-charged me - I had ordered two (2) large cups but he charged me (see receipt) for two (2) shakes. Shakes are more expensive that the large cups of ice cream. I wanted to bring this to his attention... but I felt it was intentional, although I have zero proof. And if that was the case (him doing this intentionally), it was best I leave. The location I frequent in Alexandria, VA and the experiences I have there have always been awesome. This experience was not. On top of all this, they didn't even have the flavor (Change the Whirled), although it was on the menu. Perhaps a reminder review of Customer Experience goals needs to be revisited with this Person (he's shown in the attached photo). In closing, I will not be returning. read more

5 star location of the large Vermont ice cream chain. 5 star service for 5 star ice cream in a mellow location off Lincoln Road. 5 star service. I've always liked this particular ice cream parlor because they hire nice polite kids for the counter. In a neighborhood with at least 5 nearby I've cream places that gets my business...great service as a way to differentiate. 5 star ice cream. I almost always get the fro yo version of Cherry Garcia, still as good but less of calorie and cholesterol bomb than the original. 5 star ambience. Even though it's now a unit of enormous multinational Unilever, they still manage to project the founders' hippy vibe. Took some time out while visiting South Beach to enjoy a nice ice cream cup. When I walked in it was super clean and a nice weekday no lines. We were greeted and helped right away by the staff . I chose my favorite of course cookies and cream and it definitely did not disappoint. I opted to take my ice cream to go I didn't actually sit inside but there were plenty of seats and tables. This location is essential to a lot of other shops and food places . Super easy to grab a sweet treat on your way home . read more

I don't know if I haven't visited in awhile, but on this particular visit on a Saturday night after the movies, I was disappointed that this store does not offer samples. Maybe it's because of Covid? How am I supposed to expand my palate and try out some new flavors? So I ordered a small scoop of peanut butter cup something and almost lost it when it came out to $7.50! An entire pint at the supermarket doesn't cost that much..... Are you purposefully trying to keep customers away? By far my least favorite Ben and Jerry's that I have been to... I am a huge fan of Ben and Jerry's and every time I go on vacation I always have to have "their" ice cream. I decided to visit this cute little location on a hot day on the strip and was just appalled by lack of choices of ice cream; which never happens. One section on the right cooler did not have ANY ICE-CREAM to choose from..???? It was an empty cooler?? And on the left side with the other selection were boxes of ice cream cartons with little to no ice cream? How can they start the day with no ice cream for their customers? They were not even open that long since they opened at 1pm. Super disappointed with this location and the lack of icecream. Will not be going back. read more

I mean what is not to love about Ben and Jerry's???? I am so happy that they have so many dairy free options now. I have gone to other stores in which they only had dairy free options in the to go ice cream carts, luckily they had 3 dairy free flavors! It was extremely refreshing on a day that was soooo hot. I'm not sure if the heat affected the "coldness" of the ice cream but I feel like it almost tasted a little warm. Overall this ice cream brand never disappoints! They have a non dairy (almond milk) cookie dough option. I don't know why this is so hard to find elsewhere. It tastes great. They didn't allow samples this visit. My friend got a milkshake and said it was a little on the too milky side. read more

This ice cream shop is really great. They have a wide selection of ice cream. They also have waffle cones that are made fresh there every day. We went early in the morning, so the shop was empty. The attendants were very friendly. The only problem with the shop is finding a place to park. Another great option is to walk there. read more

Ice cream with a liberal and humanitarian agenda? YAS! The phish food will forever be my favorite served inside the chocolate-dipped cone. They have plenty of flavors and usually they always come perfectly proportioned with mixed flavors and ingredients served altogether with quirky names taking after the celebrities who concocted the flavor and thus is name after. Located on the tip of Lincoln Road, you'll be able to get a delicious dessert right by the beach to cool you down on a hot day. The interior is clean and the service was great. I usually buy a pint of their stuff at the grocery store but nothing bars popping into a location to get a scoop of their treat. My friend and I came here and she has a severe nut allergy so she asked the big working if he could please wash the scooper go avoid cross-contamination. He seemed very annoyed by this and simply rinsed it off with water. When she asked him to use soap he rolled his eyes and seemed very bothered by this. He also was wearing headphones and talking on the phone in the store as well. However, Ben and Jerry's ice cream is always good. We did not let this affect our experience. read more

You know you're doing it right, when you leave the ice cream store and people stop to ask where you got the cone. I got the small phish food in a chocolate dipped cone, my date went down on the large New York super fudge chunk in a chocolate dipped cone. They are indeed dope cones, and they charge to match. I think for two cones, no drinks, it was like $20. So, be prepared for the merchant of Venice to extract his pound of flesh. Remember, it's the beach, it "cones" with the territory! Certainly a memorable bite, and a great accent to a great night. The spot is at the very end of Lincoln Rd, around the corner from the Regal. They have a secret labyrinth to get to the bathroom. What a terrible experience I had in this place! The attendant was extremely rude with me and my family. He was in a super bad mood and doesn't even try to understand people that don't speak English perfectly.
