I mean, who doesn't love Ben & Jerry's? The ice cream is always good here, the selection of flavors is massive, and the service is always with a smile. It is small inside with a little bit of seating, but plenty of seating outside! I head out this way normally two times a year, and we always sneak this place in as there is always room for Ice Cream! read more

*No Gloves No Love* Thank you Ben & Jerry's for offering FREE ice cream, with the proceeds going to an animal shelter in Rancho Mirage. No good deed goes unnoticed. I've always liked Ben & Jerry's. They debuted back in 1974 out of Vermont and quickly expanded throughout the U.S. In 2000, Co-Founders Ben Cohen & Jerry Greenfield (who met in middle-school) sold their ice cream empire to British conglomerate, Unilever, for an estimated 326M. Their brand is iconic and part of pop-culture. Now known worldwide, as their pints of creative flavors with catchy & cute names, can be found in most freezer aisles at grocery and convenience stores all over the world. The ice cream today was delicious as usual and really hit the spot on a hot desert day. Wifey went with Choc Chip Cookie Dough/Non Diary...and for me = Cherry Garcia/Non Diary. As expected, the line to get in was kinda long and out the door...but moved very quickly as I saw 6 team members assisting customers. The shop was very neat & clean despite the busy crowd. The reason for knocking off 1-star? I/we were very surprised and disappointed to see that everyone behind the counter scooping ice cream and handling cones & cups, were not wearing gloves. Definitely some of the nicest staff of any place I've ever been - consistently! There will be a line. The line might have children. The parents are treating their kids to ice cream, so enjoy their fun and wait patiently. I stood a bit too long, and enjoyed watching the little girls literally vibrate as they asked every question, got every sample, and finally decided on a flavor. Too cute. It's Ben & Jerry's, so you know the ice cream is popular. The flavors change, but the old favorites are always there. Price wise.... Well, it's a lot for a little ice cream. Yet, it's really worth it. I'm assuming the staff is cared for, since they are ALWAYS really nice. I figure coffee from "that" place costs about the same. David was awesome today which was Mother's Day. He was working alone and had a line out the door . He was fast and running the register , while making milkshakes , and scooping ice cream cones. Management should consider getting more help for the weekend though. When you have great employees Management should be doing more to help them out especially on holiday weekends. If this needs to be said to the District Manager I hope they see this also so hopefully they approve management getting more help. read more

This ice cream shop was located in the River at Rancho Mirage shopping mall. I stopped in here to get an ice cream cone while I waited for the Tesla to finish charging at the nearby charging station. I got the salted caramel blondie on a chocolate dipped waffle cone. It was okay, but I prefer Handel's ice cream which is better, bigger, and about 3 dollars cheaper. read more

What can you say? It's Ben & Jerry's. This place is awesome. So many options it's crazy. My personal favorites are New York Super Fudge Chunk and Chocolatey Peanut Butter Swirl but honestly... I've never had one I didn't like. The staff working here is pretty cool as well. They are friendly and courteous. Only downside of going here is it can get pretty pricey especially if you've got a group to feed. I went by myself this visit and it was almost 8 bucks for 2 scoops. Enjoy! read more

I met Ben and Jerry many years ago. Two amazing people. They really care about the environment and making a better world. They both took a college class in making ice cream. From such a simple beginning, they have made a big impact in our world. I was amazed thar they had a special bakery in New York where they trained the homeless to become productive citizens. That is where the brownies were made for their ice cream. They have an incredible menu of fabulous flavors. You will live this place. read more

Clean location which was very COVID19 cognizant, inside the store anyway. The ice-cream was on point and they had several tables outside by a water feature which presented a nice place to enjoy the ice-cream. My only question/concern would be about who cleans the tables and how often? It probably helps that it's over 100° which likely kills the germs, but I'm not sure who wipes down the tables and how often. read more

We visited today and Jason helped us. He was so friendly and kind. He patiently waited while my five year old changed his mind 48 times. He was outstanding and really made my son's day. Today was a fundraiser for Guide Dogs of the Desert and our first time visiting this location. The manager and assistant manager were incredibly accommodating as we have a nut allergy with our group. They took time out of a busy rush to make sure everyone got ice cream that was safe. Wish more businesses would realize the importance of food safety while securing a customer for life. Love me some Ben & Jerry's! Location is prime time being next to Yard House, PF Chang's, and the movie theater. Menus were posted outside and they clearly gave an explanation of each ingredient in each ice cream which was nice. Once we got inside, the server was super nice and friendly. I ordered a small Tonight Dough (my #1 fav) in a cone. The server suggested that I throw it in a cup since once I step outside, it was going to start melting immediately (which it totally did due to the 110+ degree weather). My mom got a small vegan coconut ice cream (can't remember the name but it was made with almond milk and came with coconut chips and chocolate chips). read more

This establishment is getting a three solely for the ridiculous prices. Prices are a biggy for me, I like to compare my establishments and judge which places are worthy of charging such high prices. Currently, I am dairy free so it was nice to see that there were 2 options for dairy free ice cream. I tried both. One was very almond-y and the other you couldnt tell that there was no dairy. I was upset to find out that there was no option for a cup/cone size smaller than a small because I always pride on the kids cup or cone because its the perfect size and its cheappp! The price for a small was close to $6. Hell no. I think you can definitely find equally great or better ice cream for cheaper prices elsewhere. At least I have. The store is nice but small, the workers are kind and effecient, though the prices really deterred me away from coming back (unless im forced). read more

Given that there is not much for kids in the area and the dessert options here are sparse, we took ours here for some ice cream. Service wasn't very enthusiastic, I felt the prices too high for the quality they serve, you can get a pint for less at the grocery store.
