On the day of the pick up, they also remembered we were coming in from LA and followed up with us to make sure we were going to get there before they closed at 4PM. They had a wide variety of flavors to choose from that could be cake, but we settled on traditional chocolate, one of the flavors that allow for a custom design. We sent them an inspiration photo of what we were looking for along with the color scheme and they absolutely knocked it out of the park on the looks. The cake was well received by everyone at the party. Since I was unable to get one of their more daring and creative flavors as the custom cake, I did go ahead and order a dozen of their Dubai chocolate cupcakes and very much enjoyed them.

I have been ordering specialty cakes from Pastry Swan for years. Both my children's baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries, and they have all been awesome. So when my daughter asked for a Hello Kitty cake for her 6th birthday party, of course I called them. We had some difficulty arranging a date, and I didn't have much notice. I called to place the order on Friday, needing the cake on Sunday. Having just got off work that Friday, I was worried I wasn't going to make it by 5 pm to pre pay for the cake and I had no credit card to pay over the phone. The owner herself assured me she would push the order through and I could come in to pay the next day, pick the cake up at their other location on El Paseo on Sunday. When I went to pay at the cathedral city location I had missed them by 15 minutes. I called El Paseo to see if I could pay there. Upon speaking with the owner she informed me that she had no such order. She remembers speaking to me but swore I had agreed to call back and confirm. She also swore she would have NEVER pushed an order through without payment. It was if I had spoken with two different people. She never once offered me any apology or discount on future services. Her only response upon hearing she'd lost my business for good was "That's a shame." It is a shame. I would have continued to take my business to this bakery. The owner has not only lost the $96 I wanted to spend, but hundreds of dollars in future business. Jensen's saved the day by making me a beautifully hand drawn Hello Kitty cake even MORE last minute at HALF the price. It wasn't wrapped in fondant, but it tasted delicious and their customer service outshines Pastry Swan by far! read more

We had a office birthday party for one of my staff. We got him a Iron Man themed cake, the cake turned out great everyone even the birthday boy or in our case Bob. Was very happy with the design, now we all agreed that whenever you get such a good looking cake normally thats about it. It looks great but not very tasty, but not in this case not only did the cake look great it was the most delicious cake any of us have ever had. I have gone to this place for years. I love the frosting on the cakes and I've always encountered a nice smile. Idk why YELP is like the New Jerry Springer Show where everyone PUKES all over the internet and on peoples lively hood ! It's upsetting to say the least.
