Dr. Myers performed partial knee Makoplasty on me in 2017…read more Started PT and my knee swelled to three times its regular size, so I couldn't start any strength conditioning. Six month post-op with Dr Myers, my quad had atrophied. More PT in-house didn't help. Finally I consulted with a Duke University Orthopedist. His X-rays showed that the Makoplasty device was put in crooked, which was why my leg was bowed and I was unable to straighten it. Dr. Myers denied it was crooked and said I was bow-legged so the device had to follow the curve of my leg. (News to me.) Fast forward SIX YEARS of living in constant pain. I finally got up the courage to have another surgery. New doctor did a full knee replacement and noted there was encapsulation in the back of my knee that was never addressed. He straightened my bowed leg, and with PT, I am close to being able to fully flex. I am frustrated and angry that I went through years of pain and deformity because of Dr. Myers. His arrogance and over confidence is a hindrance IMO, and he needs to find some humility. I hope that I'm the only one who has had this experience.

I experience chronic osteoarthritis pain which nearly cripples my physical abilities of my right arm post shoulder surgery. The activities it's taken me away from is just as bad as the physical pain. I'm a young man and thought that I could use my shoulder again to do what I like to do after surgery. His surgery ruined most of what I enjoy in life. If I could give him negative five stars I would.

I had bilateral knee replacement surgery. I received excellent work outs each time I went there. They were thoughtful and attentive to my progress and what would be good next steps. I was always impressed at how compassionate they were but also how they pushed me to give it my all. I highly recommend them.

Even…read morethough my surgeon/physician approved treatment for months in advance, the occupational therapist, Ty, who had been treating me for the shattered bone injury, refused to treat me any longer; berated and chastised me for not healing as she thought I should, told me my recovery was going backwards, and made a unilateral decision to stop treating me. She was incredibly hostile and unprofessional. It was a bizarre and disturbing experience. It's too bad, because all the physical therapists are all very good, as I was seeing them for my other fractured limb. My health care team recommended another center, where I will once again resume treatment, for both my injuries, as instructed by my surgeon/physician.

Bedside manner: Very kind!! He introduced himself with a handshake and seemed genuinely interested in my issue. He gave me a full examination and never not once made me feel awkward. They have a X-ray and MRI machine on site which is very convenient !! They also have a physical therapy unit there. It's a one stop shop.
