With the expertise of Dr. Liz Henry and Dr. Summer Lamborn, she was back to dancing pain-free in no time. A year or two later, my husband partially tore his rotator cuff, and surgery was recommended by his Dr. After having observed the extremely knowledgeable and friendly environment of Lifeforce, I made my husband an appointment. After a few weeks of sessions, and a home exercise plan specifically tailor-made for him, he is and has been completely pain-free with full use of his arm and shoulder ever since!!! Over the last few years, I have been helped by both Summer and Liz for a number of issues, ranging from tendonitis of both feet, and now I see Liz for chronic back pain and headaches resulting from scoliosis and arthritis. I don't think I could get through the week without Liz! She always asks for feedback from the previous session, so she can tweak my treatment plan. She also teaches me about my conditions so I can better help myself. Lifeforce also has a number of medical exercise classes that one can supplement physical therapy, for a reasonable cost, led by a Dr. of physical therapy, who also gives me tailor-made exercises for my conditions. I have been to two other physical therapy offices in Wilmington, and in one of them, I felt like I was part of an assembly line, left alone, waiting my turn to see the assistant. The other, I was passed off from the physical therapist to the assistant.At Lifeforce, it is ONE patient, ONE Dr. of physical therapy! If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would!!!!

It's to the point now that I get one maybe once/twice a month if that; I used to get them 1-2x/week like clockwork. I'm sleeping better. I have more reliable energy (for the most part), and my autoimmune thyroid disorder is in remission. But the biggest change to my life is due to Dr. Bradburn helping me through the difficult year I had questioning severe joint/tendon pain and ultimately being diagnosed with autoimmune arthritis. This in itself makes me extremely emotional: without his help through the pain, inflammation, and swelling with the flares, I really have NO idea how I could have coped with this new phase of my life when I had to be patient with my Rheumatologist trying different things. While pharmacology can be fantastic and sometimes absolutely necessary, it's never the complete solution for all of us. The facility itself is clean, well-kept, and professional. That might sound like a small thing, but after being sent to other places in the past, it makes a big difference walking into somewhere that actually feels like a proper medical office instead of something run down or questionable. I saw Dr. Sunil Aurora, and he was excellent. Very professional, thorough, and--most importantly--he took the time to clearly explain how the procedure works and what to expect going forward. No rushing, no talking over your head--just straight, understandable information. Right now, we're waiting on confirmation from the VA to approve coverage for four treatments, so that's the next step. But based on this first visit, I feel comfortable and confident moving forward with them. If the treatment side matches the first impression, this is going to be a solid place for care.
