I suffered an injury to both knees in December 2017 that involved MCL, ACL, and cartilage damage. I didn't begin physical therapy at Benchmark until the end of January 2018. I was barely walking and I was using a walker sometimes. I had very little range of motion to my legs and my muscles were very weak. I didn't see how I would even come close to returning to my normal function before the injury. My first appointment, I met Scott. He was very patient and explained everything to me to the smallest detail. He gave me my home exercises and I was scheduled for physical therapy appointments 3 days per week initially. Well, here I am now, in April 2018 and I am feeling great! I am walking normally, I have regained strength in my legs, and my knee injuries are healed. I still have some work to do to move towards running, jumping, skipping, and hopping but I am very encouraged. The entire staff at Benchmark are AWESOME!!! Scott is very knowledgeable, detail oriented, and prepares you for each step along the physical therapy process. Joe gave me confidence to progress through the therapy when I didn't think I was ready to do so. Cameron cheered me along the entire way and inspired me to push through the tough days. Christina kept me motivated and focused during my therapy sessions. Abby is the sweetest and most helpful receptionist ever. Taylor always greeted me with a bright smile and offered a helping hand. I have been to the W. Crossville Road location for multiple sessions at various times within the last 3 years. I can honestly say that I have never had an unpleasant experience there. All of the personnel I have encountered have not only been highly professional, but have been the most helpful and caring group I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I have spinal stenosis along with pinched nerves in my lower back. I have Dr. Chris Ross as my therapist. The first thing we talk about when I enter is how do I feel and what do we need to work on today. This lets me know that he cares more about genuinely helping me than he does just trying to fit me into a standard program "mold". The therapists who work with him -- Caroline, Foster, and Jordan -- are constantly monitoring my exercises to help me reach my goals. Chris always ends my session with massage that pinpoints my critical needs. Believe me when I say that if you need PT, this location is definitely the place to go. You leave being tired, but because of the personnel and attitude of the "crew" you can't help but leave with a smile on your face knowing that your time there has not only been productive, but an enjoyable experience. I had lower back and hip problems unsolved for over a year and finally took to the time to get Physical Therapy. A friend recommended this location and I was thrilled with the results. My condition took several months to improve and they gave me hope that it would. Claire was the physical therapist that worked with me during the entire time. She was patient, very knowledgeable, explained my condition, recommended not only exercises, but general life tips that improved my condition tremendously. I was extremely pleased with the consistent level of care. The entire team there is truly passionate about their profession. Additionally, I had no worries when it came to trying to keep up with what the insurance would allow, etc... as Mary was pro-active and kept on top of things . They are very accommodating and easy to work with and should I need PT in the future, I will definitely return to this Benchmark location. Benchmark has been super! I don't say that lightly. I have seen a lot of physical therapists for an issue I've been dealing with for over a year and it's only since I began going to Benchmark that I am now finally seeing progress. Dr. Chris Ross is my therapist. Dr. Ross' medical knowledge and patient care are excellent. The whole Benchmark crew (other therapists and personnel) work seamlessly in this location and are helpful! I have been at this clinic for 2 recovery programs for 2 knee replacements this year. I can't say enough positive things about the people and the programs. Tim has a passion for helping people that is beyond believable. He is an amazing multi-tasker, able to focus on you and your recovery with single minded devotion while directing strengthening activities for other patients and also building rapport with everyone. My recovery is progressing ahead of my surgeon's expectations. The therapists in training are all friendly, engaging, and hardworking. I have been to another Benchmark for PT and was uncomfortable with the size of the facility (so small) and the amount of clients and therapists (way too crowded). So when I needed more therapy, I decided to visit the West Crossville Road Benchmark. The facility is large, bright, and extremely clean. Mary, at the front desk, greeted me every morning with a smile and was so kind and was always able to get me an appointment, even on short notice. My therapist, Dr. Claire Bradley, has been so helpful and kind. She is very knowledgeable and truly listens when I describe my pain. I would definitely recommend this facility. read more

Over the past several years, I have needed physical therapy for various body parts (hip, neck, back) to keep this aging body in serviceable and working order. I have been treated at Benchmark in Roswell for months at a time and each time, I have received excellent care. With each treatment course I have made remarkable and lasting improvement. I started at this Benchmark location 10 weeks ago with debilitating shoulder pain that was keeping me up at night.
