Fayetteville Pilates and Barre is a beautiful studio with professional staff and upbeat classes…read more I'm a relative newbie to Pilates and Barre classes, but I've taken classes with four different instructors and have enjoyed all of them. I've only done the pilates and barre classes, but Fayetteville Pilates and Barre also offers reformer and TRX classes. The owner, Lisa, is incredibly knowledgeable and judgment-free. Every single instructor has been kind and uplifting. As far as the workouts go... They are HARD, y'all! But they're designed to be hard no matter if you're a super novice or a hardcore super advanced fitness guru. What I really like is that the workouts is that theyre low impact - that is, they're going to be easy on the joints, which is important to me now that I'm not a young college whippersnapper anymore. Students - they have discounts for you! FPB also usually has a black Friday sale every year where you can buy classes at a discounted rate.

Pilates is great for injuries and the instructors will work with you. They offer mat pilates, reformer pilates, TRX and barre classes - all amazing workouts. You will get results! They also have a health coach to help you as well. I might get the exact wording wrong here, but they are the only studio in ARKANSAS that has Pilates Trained Master Certified Instructors. Amazing, right?! I took a class from Lisa and she was an awesome teacher and kicked our butts at the same time - I felt the burn and I liked it haha.

BUYER BEWARE!! WHAT YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO KNOW AND WHAT THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU BEFORE YOU SIGN UP…read more- 1. Unlike other fitness studios/apps, if you are a direct member of Pure Barre, you CANNOT cancel your membership on the app. They ask that you call your studio. Your studio then SENDS YOU A CANCELLATION FORM that you must sign - The cancellation form fine print is attached as a photo here - YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR A WHOLE ADDITIONAL MONTH AFTER STATING YOU WANT TO CANCEL. 2. Upon signing up, I was told that it was a month-to-month and at no point was I told of a MINIMUM 3 MONTH COMMITMENT because I would NEVER have signed up in that case - YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE THREE MONTHS IF YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL WITHIN THAT TIME FRAME. 3. They change the schedule and programming on a whim. If you're a creature of habit and like a specific class style/type, there is no guarantee that you will continue to be able to maintain that in your schedule. 4. I have personally witnessed participants on occasion come into class even 10 mins late. I was about 5 mins late to class on a Saturday morning and found the studio to be locked on the outside and no one present at the front desk to open the door. This was absolutely ridiculous. Now they will say it is their policy to not allow participants in after 3 mins but why some are an exception and why some days are different is a whole other question. - BE CONSISTENT AND BE FAIR TO ALL. 5. Pure Barre puts on a great pretense of being "a community" but at the end of the day, their policies and practices simply do not align with fair treatment and community values. They are a corporation that simply wants to get a hold of your credit card information so they can continue to swipe it for a minimum of 4 months.

This place feels so friendly too me. I've been coming back to this gym for years. here goes…read moreeveryone It has: indoor pool a hot tub sauna racket ball courts. upstairs circuit training and classes equipment for cardio equipment for lifting (recent new machines I have yet to explore... can't wait) Pretty much EVERYTHING. AND!! new yoga classes early in the morning and free child care for mom's who rise early but still want that special part of their day. REASONS TO JOIN!!!: FIRST: If you have any questions the staff is so friendly, this was my immediate draw to the gym. They will show you anything and have so much available for singles and families. You'll never be bored here. ALSO!!! They have great competitive rates. They have corporate discounts TOOOOO!!! They care! SECOND: I don't feel awkward here, I quite like walking in and saying hello. I'm always made to feel like "hey", "glad you're back!" Feeling comfortable lifting weights as a woman for the first time here has always made me feel like... "if I can do it"... you can do it. I never lifted weights in my life, and here somehow i found the courage watching similiar average fitness people trying really hard to figure it all out. This is difficult, but seeing the demographic around me, I felt confident everyone was secretly looking around and feeding off of the obvious intention of everyone. We were ALL trying to better ourselves and I just "felt" that vibe. It's priceless and I encourage everyone to come and join in. THIRD: It's very conveniently located near the NWA Mall... literally right down the street. Soooo, in the summer I can just pop over to lake fayetteville after a workout and enjoy a slow walk and get some outdoor nature time. FOURTH: pure selfishness... I want more people to come and give me courage to keep trying.

This gym could have been one of the good gyms here in Fayetteville if only they maintain it most…read moreespecially the pool area. They have good instructors for their classes & the guy on the reception was nice too. Hopefully they will try to renovate and put TLC on it in the future and I'm hoping they will have more classes later on most especially aqua classes like aqua Zumba, aqua steps (or maybe even aqua bike!) after the pandemic.

I was desperately looking for some sort of exercise that would keep my interest. I've been coming…read moreto the studio for about a year, and I love it!!! All the instructors are wonderful and super supportive. Pole is more fun than I ever thought exercise could be! Love love LOVE it! When I first started, I never thought I'd be able to do anything - I'm middle aged, out of shape, and oh so clutzy...but as you work at it you get better and stronger, and I'm amazed at what I'm capable of doing now!! There's lots of other things besides pole here too - yoga, booty barre, flexibility classes, cardio classes...and there's always new things being tried out so you don't get bored. We recently had a series of burlesque classes, and they were so much fun!!! There's also workshops offered on a regular basis (pole champion Natasha Wang did some workshops last year) that give you a chance to work with other people who may have a different way of demonstrating skills. Coming to this place is one of the best decisions I've made. I'm physically in the best shape I've probably ever been in, and my pole sisters are wonderful, supportive people that I've been blessed to get to know. I LOVE THIS STUDIO!!!

Don't get a membership here! I know several other people besides myself that have had MANY problems…read morewith the memberships. Once you sign up they change the classes. It went from having a class included in the membership every week night (Monday-Thursday) to having one class per week. It's not worth the money. Pay per class if you go. Even the punch cards expire which is NOT good. The instructors are not certified to teach pole and they change constantly. Each instructor teaches totally different and they don't follow any type of teaching plan or pattern so you end up paying for the same 3 moves over and over again. It's fun to take one or two classes but the membership is a TOTAL rip off.
