My wife and I had been looking for an exercise/fitness "path". The gym did not work out, the excerise bikes and weights just sat in the basement unused, etc. We looked into some options and decided to give yoga a try. Bending Bodhi has been wonderful for us. We started out going to the Yoga 101 class which includes unlimited other yoga sessions. We now go three or four times a week instead of just the once a week. When I started yoga I knew I had lost some of the flexabliltiy I had when I was younger but I did not realize how much. Taking the classes with Heather and the other instuctors I have gained back a lot of the range of motion I had and I again have muscle in places I did not realize I had lost. The studio is very nicely set up with lots of air and light. It is however the people there that make the studio the warm welcoming place I look forward to going too, unlike the gym. Great location in the heart of Dover. Lots of on-street parking nearby, plus great stores and restaurants to visit after. Been a member going on a couple of years now and have been very happy with nearly every aspect of Bending Bodhi Yoga. The instructors are clear and helpful both in and out of the studio. Very patient with people who are new to the practice; insightful to those who are more seasoned. Ownership has also been very responsive to comments and requests for information and participates heavily in the day-to-day operations, so you know you can always go right to the top with any concerns. I have been a member of a few yoga studios over the years and can honestly say that Bending Bodhi has been the best. The studio space is beautiful, clean, open and inviting. The daily class selection and times fit a variety of needs from beginner to advanced. I also love that there are a ton workshops each month to further your practice or support the community in some way. But I have to say the teachers are what make the studio the best. All teachers welcome modifications and encourage you to listen to your body. The studio is spacious and beautifully decorated. I have not met a teacher I did not enjoy.
