This is in response to a previous negative review of Bengal Babirs Cattery. I want to first say I have known Carrie for over 11 years now and she is my friend, mentor and business partner. She is an amazing woman and cares deeply for her cats and her customers. I have had the pleasure of caring for her queens and they are happy and healthy girls. A few people have mentioned FIP. So here are the facts. This disease occurs in cats that test positive for Feline Coronavirus. It occurs in cats with a weekend immune system. The coronavirus itself morphs into what we call FIP. . There are two types of FIP, but I wont go and all that. Just know that treatment is not out for the main stream yet. You can buy treatment from China for your feline, however, it cost about $6000 plus and you need to find a veterinarian that is willing to administer it to your cat. There's no guarantee it will work. Is is not necessarily an easy treatment for the cat itself, another words they don't necessarily feel very good when getting the treatment. It is an option for people who have the money. Otherwise, you're looking at euthanasia for your cat. There is a certain percentage of cats that are just going to develop it. So the more catch you sell.... the greater the chance of you selling a cat that develops if I pee. It's just a mathematics percentage. It's no more than that. It's easy to blame the breeder because the age when it occurs is not long after a cat is given to the new owner from Breeder. They develop somewhere usually between six months of age in a year of age. This is because this is when a Kittens systems is most vulnerable So that is the reality of FIP. It has nothing do with Carrie or anything she's ever done. It has to do with laws of the universe and that purpose of disease in all living things is to control the population in any given species.. you got your cat from please do a little reading. If you don't believe me, you will see that I am correct. And because the coronavirus, the feline coronavirus is very rapid in the US, the percentages of it happening here or greater than in other parts of the world, where the coronavirus in felines We all do our best until there's a readily available vaccine or treatment. I hope you're a little more educated on FIP . And like I said, we exist in the blame game to try to make sense of something that happened and put the blame elsewhere but if we look at the world, the chaos theory, shit happens . If you can't except that then you will always feel the need to place blame on someone. I would be more than happy to explain this further to anyone who wants more info. I've done my research. 7-7-17 my bengal was born and he was the love of my life. 4-4-20 he died of heart failure. HCG. Carrie assured me it was the first and only time this happened, and even offered me a free kitten but no thanks. Spent over $6,000 in the last 8 days of his life, and would spend 10x that if it would have ensured his longevity. Carrie is absolutely wonderful. I have purchased 2 bengal cats from her. She has been there for me every step of the way when i've been raising them over the past year and a half. We speak all the time to check in and catch up. She has helped with me spays, vaccinations, health checks and been a great caretaker when I travel. She is very knowledgeable on all things bengal cats and makes sure that every litter is treated with the proper amount of care as possible. My two gorgeous babies are 1 and a half and 6 months old. Carrie at Bengal Babies is an expert breeder and a very nice person. Her bloodlines are some of the finest in the Bengal breed and they all have wonderful genetics, patterning and temperaments. She told me this when we met and I now know it to be true. Our family's male Bengal is so much fun, loves our children, is energetic and playful, a sweet lap cat and follows us everywhere. He's strong healthy and very handsome. The only downside is that he shreds toilet paper. We received "Dave" as a kitten and he was perfectly potty trained. Carrie made sure we were well equipped to give him the best possible care and is always available if we need her advice. I felt completely comfortable buying a kitten from her. Bengals can be a handful (he's behavior is best described as hilarious) but if you want more than you're average cat and not quite prepared to own a dog, they're a great fit. Dave definitely needs a lot of exercise and play but is very happy to walk on a leash. We're so lucky to have him and strongly recommend BengalBabies if you're interested in a Bengal. read more

My husband and I used to breed and show champion lined Bengal cats. We sold 2 of our kittens to Carrie with the understanding that she wanted them for young family members and didn't have any kittens of her own at the time. Two days later, she had them advertised on numerous sites, selling them as her own cats, and for 4 times what she paid me for them. I had not given her the TICA papers, and she was advertising them as papered. When I confronted her, she began to slander my husband and I, saying the kittens were sick (which they were not, and had vet test negatives to prove it) and saying that we had brought them in a dirty carrier (they were brought to her in a new cardboard Petsmart cat carrier). After I contacted TICA, and demanded the kittens back, she told me she already sold them to a family in another city and would not tell me who or where. VERY unethical. Beautiful marked cats does NOT translate to healthy, well raised cats. Buyers beware!!! I have bought a few cats from carrie and they are so playful. I've had no problems with these little rascals I call my babies. Her cats are cleaned , bathed , nails clipped and sold as BEAUTIFUL show room cats. There is no doubt in my mind that carries kittens are the best in the country. Carrie I had reached out to you to let you know about my sick kitten and your response was "Sorry" you did NOTHING to try to help me or my kitten. Everything you're saying is completely untrue. You DID know about these sick kittens because YOU are the one the that told me another kitten passed away from the same litter. These are your kittens Carrie you own the father and Esther is or was at the time your business partner. Also Carrie doesn't have a cattery in at her house she lives in Newport Beach with no backyard space for cats it's small and has a pool, she keeps ALL of her kittens and cats in her garage in cages. When you go to pick up your kitten she uses the excuse that they "just ate and are napping" my friend bought a kitten from her also and she used the same excuse on her. These poor cats are being held in small cages in her garage all day long please don't be fooled go adopt. And yes the lesson is ask questions! There are shady breeders like Carrie out there who only care about money and selling these cats. Recently got my baby Hobbes from Carrie. Got him at 8 weeks old and he was really shy in the beginning(really vocal too). First of all he is the first bengal I ever owned so I did not really know what to expect. I brought him home and I made a mistake by taking him out of his carrier instead of having him come out to explore on his own. He was really scared and kept hiding from me(my mistake). First day was kinda rough as he was yowling, probably missing his siblings. So I contacted Carrie and she kindly answered all my questions and helped me a lot. He adapted really quickly and now he is so silent at night I have been sleeping peacefully! He learns really quickly, always uses his litter box, loves to play with toys and he sure does love to eat! He would follow us and jump up the couch to cuddle and ask for me to pet him. I love my baby Hobbes so much. He is so sweet, loving and brings joy to my life. Thank you Carrie for raising him well. I recently moved to an apartment in Beverly Hills and was looking forward to a getting a micro teacup puppy. Carrie is amazing! Really takes such good care of her animals and others visiting and gives them lots of attention. I dropped my kitten, Sammy, off before I left for a week long trip. I was more than comfortable leaving him with Carrie after seeing her clean and cozy space and how much effort she put in to taking care of all her cats, she treated them all like pets of her own. I purchased a kitten from Carrie a year ago and couldn't be happier! I bought Simba as a gift for my boyfriend for christmas last year. I was never a cat person and had never had a cat growing up.
