Carrie is absolutely wonderful. I have purchased 2 bengal cats from her. She has been there for me every step of the way when i've been raising them over the past year and a half. We speak all the time to check in and catch up. She has helped with me spays, vaccinations, health checks and been a great caretaker when I travel. She is very knowledgeable on all things bengal cats and makes sure that every litter is treated with the proper amount of care as possible. My two gorgeous babies are 1 and a half and 6 months old. They are the sweetest kitties who love to play and snuggle. I couldn't be more satisfied and highly recommend purchasing from her!

Carrie at Bengal Babies is an expert breeder and a very nice person. Her bloodlines are some of the finest in the Bengal breed and they all have wonderful genetics, patterning and temperaments. She told me this when we met and I now know it to be true. Our family's male Bengal is so much fun, loves our children, is energetic and playful, a sweet lap cat and follows us everywhere. He's strong healthy and very handsome. The only downside is that he shreds toilet paper. We received "Dave" as a kitten and he was perfectly potty trained. Carrie made sure we were well equipped to give him the best possible care and is always available if we need her advice. I felt completely comfortable buying a kitten from her. Bengals can be a handful (he's behavior is best described as hilarious) but if you want more than you're average cat and not quite prepared to own a dog, they're a great fit. Dave definitely needs a lot of exercise and play but is very happy to walk on a leash. We're so lucky to have him and strongly recommend BengalBabies if you're interested in a Bengal.

We had a wonderful experience with Carrie from BengalBabies, all the way from our first communication to choosing a kitten, and placing a deposit to picking her up on Christmas Eve! It was smooth sailing and Carrie was a dream to work with. Now we have this perfectly healthy little darling to cuddle and play with every day. She has brought so much joy and entertainment to our home, She's incredibly active and full of curiosity but also loves to snuggle. She has definitely stolen our hearts. If we decide to expand our family again, we'll definitely turn to BengalBabies.

    Gia, our beautiful bengal!

Last year we purchased our beautiful bengal kitty, "Gia" from Carrie and our experience working with her has been wonderful. Carrie is very sweet and knowledgeable about bengals. Throughout the year, Carrie has been very helpful in answering our questions, providing recommendations and has continued to check on the well being of our kitty. We highly recommend Carrie if you are looking for bengal baby!

My husband and I used to breed and show champion lined Bengal cats. We sold 2 of our kittens to Carrie with the understanding that she wanted them for young family members and didn't have any kittens of her own at the time. Two days later, she had them advertised on numerous sites, selling them as her own cats, and for 4 times what she paid me for them. I had not given her the TICA papers, and she was advertising them as papered. When I confronted her, she began to slander my husband and I, saying the kittens were sick (which they were not, and had vet test negatives to prove it) and saying that we had brought them in a dirty carrier (they were brought to her in a new cardboard Petsmart cat carrier). After I contacted TICA, and demanded the kittens back, she told me she already sold them to a family in another city and would not tell me who or where. VERY unethical. Beautiful marked cats does NOT translate to healthy, well raised cats. Buyers beware!!! UPDATE attached is a full account of another person with a grievance against Carrie Donahue and her u ethical "business" dealings (these are living creatures, not profits) An ethical breeder does not charge an extra 425 dollars on top of a 3000 dollar "pet" kitten just so that they get their tests and deworming. Wrong! https://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/carrie-donahue-at-bengal-babies-cattery-newport-coast-california-c584524.html

I have bought a few cats from carrie and they are so playful. I've had no problems with these little rascals I call my babies. Her cats are cleaned , bathed , nails clipped and sold as BEAUTIFUL show room cats. There is no doubt in my mind that carries kittens are the best in the country. I've seen pictures of her cats with the Kardashians and the singer from Lincoln park and originally that's where I found her cattery. This lady works hard to negotiate whatever to make a client happy. To that lady below obviously it's been almost 4 years and because she had a competing cattery she had to say something rude to a very nice lady. All I can say to that lady is my kittens have NEVER shown any signs of any disease. BEST KITTENS YOU WILL EVER OWN GO TO CARRIE!!!

I purchased my second bengal baby from Carrie about a year ago. Carrie is a top notch breeder and runs a reputable cattery. All her kitties are tested, well cared for and true to the breed. Our kitties are happy, healthy and exactly how she said they would be. Her years of experience and her expertise with this breed is evident. We love our 2 bengals from Carrie. She is always there to answer questions if we need her or to just check in on them and its been 2 years! I wouldn't go anywhere else to purchase a bengal. We love Carrie and Bengal Babies!

Finding reliable reptile care in Orange County is rare, so I'm especially thankful they were able to help. I would give her more than five stars if I could! I highly recommend Critter Sitters for reptile pet sitting. We'll be bringing our dog in for pet sitting next time, and I'll definitely be back with another review--but for reptile care, you're absolutely in great hands with Maria. Steve R.

My 54 lb Jindo does not do well with strangers, she is all bark but no bite. I was very anxious bringing her to any dog care but Wendy was willing to do an assessment prior to their stay. This was my very first time doing any sort of dog care so I was really worried about leaving them. They did really well and my other dog had so much fun (he's a social butterfly). The main reason I chose this place vs all the other dog boarding is because they offer a "home" living experience rather than a facility/warehouse. My dogs always freely roams the house and lays on our bed, couch, wherever they please so I wanted something similar and Wendy's house provided that. I couldn't bare the thought of them being kept in a narrow sleeping quarter locked throughout the day. Thank you for taking great care of my babies! This place will definitely be my go-to for any future dog boarding.

It has been exactly one month since we lost our beloved French Bulldog, Louie, to heat stroke after leaving him with OC Paw House in Tustin, California. We dropped Louie off at approximately 9:05 a.m. for what was supposed to be a four-hour half-day visit. The purpose was simply to see how well he interacted with the other dogs before we considered boarding him there for a week later in September. I believed I had done my due diligence as a responsible pet owner. The business had more than 100 five-star reviews, and I could not find even a single review below five stars. They also had many photos of french bulldogs on their social media. That gave me a great deal of confidence in leaving Louie in their care. Unfortunately, what happened that morning is something our family will live with forever. At 11:33 a.m., I received a photo and text showing Louie with several other dogs. In the photo, what appeared to be Louie's vomit was clearly visible near his front paws. When I later examined the photo more carefully, I noticed that it had been taken at approximately 10:18 a.m. That timeline is extremely important. Wendy, the owner, later told me that Louie was having difficulty with the heat while at an unshaded dog park on an approximately 81-degree day. She said that after about 5-10 minutes, they decided to take him back to the house. The house is approximately an eight-minute drive from the dog park. Yet I did not receive a phone call telling me that Louie was in serious distress until approximately 11:45 a.m. I was then told that he was not breathing. That leaves me with a question I still cannot get past: What happened between approximately 10:18 a.m., when Louie was apparently already showing signs of distress, and the time I was finally contacted? As Louie's owner, it is devastating to think that he may have been struggling for an extended period of time without receiving the urgent intervention he needed. In my opinion, what happened demonstrates a serious lack of training, judgment, and emergency preparedness. This is especially troubling because Wendy told me that she owns or has owned a French Bulldog and understands that Frenchies do not tolerate heat well. Brachycephalic breeds such as French Bulldogs are widely known to be particularly vulnerable to overheating. Afterward, I obtained a report from OC Animal Care. Based on my reading of that report, I learned information about the business and its licensing status that I did not know when I entrusted Louie to their care. The report also contains statements regarding overnight boarding and the individuals who provide dog-walking services that, in my view, do not match my understanding of how the business was represented or operated. I encourage anyone considering this business--or any dog daycare or boarding provider--to verify its licensing, insurance, training, emergency procedures, supervision practices, and experience caring for your specific breed. Do not rely solely on online reviews. I wish I had known to ask more questions. Louie was not just our dog. He was part of our family, and losing him this way has been heartbreaking. I am writing this review because I cannot change what happened to Louie, but perhaps sharing our experience will cause another dog owner to ask the questions I wish I had asked--and potentially prevent another family from experiencing the loss that ours has endured.

Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.
