Highly recommend visiting this Restaurant in the holiday season, you may enjoy the high quality meal and jollable holiday vibe. My friend order the 14 oz ribeye and I ordered 8oz filet mignon. It is a three course set. Soup(or Salad), bread and main course with two sides. The serve of the food matches the volume as it describe on the meau. It is quite a lot for girl. The chef or the culinary staff is expert on steak grilling. The crust of Filet mignon tastes caramel crunch. The inner of Filet mignon is perfectly soft tender. When you bite it, you still can feel the texture but not raw. It is warm and flavored tender. We enjoyed our dinner at regular restaurant. They also have the high end restaurant in the same building which combine with a classic drink bar.(adult only) if you would like to have a full experience of the premium steak paired with wine. You may have it in the same place. And of course, if you would like to bring the high quality raw beef back home and cook for your family they have another butcher in the gift shop.

Judging by the menu it was obvious that the menu has been revised to highlight their more expensive selections. For that matter, ALL of their selections, I believe, can be called expensive. Our meals were delicious. My wife selected the filet mignon with soup (clam chowder). I selected the rib eye steak with garden salad. All delicious. Steaks were tender, and although I could not identify mine as a rib eye, it was delicious nonetheless the less. The portions were generous- about half of each of our meals went home with us. The only negative on the meal was my coffee. I like strong black coffee. This coffee was so strong, and quite bitter also, that I asked for,and graciously received, a cup of hot water to dilute it. Even so. It still was barely drinkable and I didn't finish one cup. Not wanting to hurt the moment, I said no more about it. The service was good and sufficient. The ambiance makes one feel that they are in somewhere special. The return soon feeling was not there, but I'm sure we'll be back.

And a place to park our RV overnight along with the truckers. Super convenient. Now they've built a very nice RV park. Long and wide and paved spots. Most are FHU with 2 water outlets (yay for cleaning black tank). A small structure with showers and toilet and a gym. Pickleball courts. And a fenced in dog park. At check in you get chocolate chip cookies (yummy) and a card and wrist bands to get you in the facilities including the huge pool! Towels are provided. We really appreciate the convenience especially since it's so dang hot in Coalinga it's nice to have shore power to run the A/C continuously. My only gripe would be the heat. Not Harris Ranch fault obviously but I can't help but wonder if putting tall overhangs with solar panels over the sites would not be prudent for the environment plus keep our rigs out of direct sunlight. Check out the Tesla chargers. They are out of the sun in front of the business by the gas/diesel stations. That's what I mean. And the solar could be used by HR for whatever. Just a suggestion. We highly recommend this place if you need a spot to rest overnight. 3 restaurants to choose from. We usually order to go at the Ranch (breakfast lunch and dinner) and eat back at the RV. The Horseshoe Lounge (lunch and dinner) is adults only. And the very very elegant Prime Steakhouse (dinner only) doesn't open until 1700. As an aside, try and choose the fruit as a side. They grow their own and it shows. Fresh and absolutely sweet and delicious. Plus they got a little store with great desserts and pastries and coffees. In front by the fuel stations they have another store that has just about everything you might need on your I-5 road trip plus food to go. It's mostly BBQ and you can see them at the BBQ making it all fresh. Overall it's an amazing oasis for the weary traveler and now it's even better with the legit RV park. Thank you Harris Ranch.

Our server, Madison, gave us recommendations and we took her up on them. This restaurant is tucked in the back and is a little less expensive than the steakhouse on the property. It is still just as elegant and tasty. I has the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and hubby has the pot roast. Both were so good. Big portions and now we are extremely full. I wish we had room for dessert because they look amazing but not one more bite will fit. Harris Ranch is a great stop for those on the 5 heading down south or up north. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and really clean restrooms. I would definitely recommend this place!

They have owned the property for over 20 years and I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the checkin process and large room that had many amenities. The bed and pillows were so comfy! My room was 47 that was upstairs with a big king bed! Great night sleep... And, I left my earrings there and they were so nice to have found them and mailing them back to me. I am so grateful. And, they have the most amazing beautiful plants in their lobby surrounded by memorabilia that warmed my heart for a tired traveler. It's not easy to run a business and property like this. Single-story, enclosed parking lot…read more We were a little apprehensive about staying here, since there is no marketing, no web page, no posted prices, etc. but as it is higher rated (and deservedly so) than the Soledad hotels and also fairly close to Pinnacles National Park, we wanted to give it a try. If you think about staying here, ask for prices when you call. I called a few days ahead to make a reservation - no problem. We got there about 3 pm, rang the doorbell at the locked office door (quickly answered by the owners), checked in, and left our suitcases and a cooler in the room. Fairly big refrigerator right inside the door. Nicely painted room, two queen beds, not much room to spare around the beds. Didn't explore much before heading off to Pinnacles and dinner. We returned after dark, and chatted with another couple who had stumbled - almost literally - on the place while driving from Arizona to Seattle. They had just exited 101, and drove up Broadway until they found this place. We got into our room, and settled in. No evidence whatsoever of bugs in the room, our main fear. The mattress was comfortable, the A/C worked, the flat-panel TV worked (Spectrum cable). Not an overabundance of free electrical outlets, but we managed to find enough to charge our phones and plug in our laptop. The bathroom had been recently remodeled, with a new sink, new countertop, new mirror, and evidently a newly tiled shower enclosure with 1950s teal and peach colors - cheery! No exhaust fan, but a screened window that opened onto the sidewalk of the street outside, fortunately deserted at 10 pm. The towel hooks look like they came from Temu, though, pretty insubstantial, and won't last long. The internet, as others have mentioned, worked flawlessly, far better than Marriotts we've stayed at. There is an ice machine in a corner of the parking lot. We were charged $100 in August of 2026 for the room. Quite a bargain .

There is self serve, but appears have a plan B in case it's out. There's also a Harris Ranch BBQ shop near transient next to the Shell station if you don't want to towards the hotel. The hotel is dog friendly ($50 for one, $10 each additional.)
