Most importantly, you're not waiting a long time to get assisted. The doctors are detailed in the examination and the outcome of your results. They have a nice, big selection of eyeglasses to choose. Unlike many other wholesalers they do not stab their customers in the back by selling frames on line to their customer's customers. Christine, if the optical center was unable to answer the question then you should have gone to another RETAILER whose staff was properly trained to fit and dispense glasses. If I have a question about or a problem with my car I go to the dealer who has trained service people, I don't contact the manufacturer. Fair disclosure: I have been a Smilen customer for over 20 years. They have enabled me to offer a good product at a good price to my patients. If you refuse to consider their products because of this incident then you're doing yourself a disservice, IMO.

I looked online to find it and was directed to the Smilen site. I went round and round with someone this morning who refused to answer a simple question and only replied to go to a center and support local businesses and that they don't deal with consumers. I explained I wasn't trying to buy from them directly but had a question that I couldn't get answered at the optical center and they still refused to answer a simple question about specs.
