After a thoughtful and thorough discussion, she told me she felt she was not the right person to perform my surgery and recommended another surgeon instead. That level of honesty is rare. It would have been easy for her to proceed, but she chose what she believed was best for me. Dr. Alderman is warm, direct, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell she cares deeply about her patients and about doing what's right, not just what's convenient. That kind of professionalism and ethical standard speaks volumes. Dr. Alderman reassured me that she would be able to do a lollipop incision. Because I wanted to focus on shape and not size(I was already a DD and had given birth twice), we opted to do a lift + implant(200ccs). She recommended a boost implant that would basically add the fullness I desired up top without making me too too heavy. My results are absolutely beautiful. I couldn't have imagined anything better.

My experience started off as A++ when I first saw Dr. Morris in March of 2025. I had made an…read moreappointment due to severe pain in the arch of my left foot. He diagnosed me with Tendonitis and gave me a shot , I assume was cortisone, that relieved my pain within a day. I had a follow-up appointment in April. During that visit I asked about some procedures I had read about on his site that might help with my peripheral neuropathy. He said he would check with my insurance company and stated there was a new procedure coming out in late May or early June he thought would be good for me. My next appointment was in June. I asked if he had in fact checked with my insurance company regarding coverage, He replied yes it was covered but the new product had been released, however, he started it was released on the west coast and it would take several weeks for it to get to him on the east coast. This sounded a little strange to me but I let it slide. He wrote me a 1 month Rx for Lyrica to replace my gabapentin, to try and scheduled a follow up for July. When I arrived for my July appointment I was handed a container with a creams I was to lightly rub on my feet at bedtime which was the new procedure. I was also given a 3 month RX for Lyrica as I had depleted my trial Rx. i was charged $30.00 for the cream and told it wasn't covered under insurance. I was also billed for my office visit copay which I declined to pay as my insurance has a $900 out of pocket maximum and I had met it for the year. I was handed a 4 or page printout of UHC regulations and while it did show a copay, within the paperwork it also stated my yearly deductible and the $900 out of pocket rule, thus being a printout of their complete yearly stipulations. I was told to go home and call UHC where they would tell me I did owe a copay. From here all went downhill! I did call UHC and they said what had been given me at the office was a copy of their general insurance stipulations and I was correct, I owed no further copays for 2025 since I had met my $900 out of pocket maximum. I took my Rx to WalMart to get it filled and was told Dr. Morris's license was no good and the other person, Dr. Whitmore, on the Rx needed to wright the Rx as their license was good. I tried to call office and left messages but got no reply. Finally, I drove to office 30 minutes before closing only to find it totally locked up, I again drove to office the following day and still found the office locked up with no notification as to why they were closed. I also found by examining the bottle of cream that the products home address was, in fact, identical to Dr, Morris's office address. That cream never 1st shipped to the west coast and had to take time to travel across the country to reach its place of production...that was a false statement to a patient. To this day they have never replied to any of my phone or text messages and they never called to cancel the follow up appointment they made for me in late October. I do now note that they now state, "WE ARE A CONCIERGE / DIRECT PAY PRACTICE AND DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE . OFFICE VISITS ARE $85 AND CAN BE BOOKED HERE ON OUR SITE FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE! I could never recommend Doctors who lie about their own product and shut out current patients the way they did.

This man prescribed an antibiotic at full does that has a black box warning and is known to cause…read moreachilles tendonitis and did not warn me. Over prescribes without follow up and incorrect diagnosis. I first saw Dr. Schottenfeld Feb 1 2021 for an area of my left sinus that was painful but not horrible. No fever, no green discharge as with a sinus infection or dark eyes etc.. I paid $531 for this visit. Had a CT scan of sinuses and was diagnosed with an infection. During our consult he was on his cell phone with what seemed like personal calls continually with little focus on me. Very distracted At the time he told me my inferior turbinates looked like balloons. He prescribed antibiotics and steroids and asked me to check in after the 10 days were up. He was aware I have epilepsy and still prescribed a high level of steroids which affect seizures. I couldn't tolerate them after 3 days (increased seizures). I checked with him 10 days later - you do not get to speak with him just an assistant (not a nurse) - fine. He prescribed another round as I had no change in symptoms. I checked in again and no change. I asked the assistant of there was a way I could speak with him or how would I know that things haven't really improved or of this was the right course. She said I could make another appointment for $130 for a 10 minute consult in his office. He wanted me to take another round of antibiotics (levaquin 750mg). I was unsure but she passed on his message that he thought I had a broad spectrum infection that we needed to clear up. He didn't want to see me again to make or anything. In the meantime I was having so many seizures and expressed concern that he wasn't taking into account my epilepsy. Never got to speak with him. I should have followed my instincts but I trusted this doctor instead. My neurologist raised my seizure medications to help in the meantime. 7 days in on levaquin and I started to feel pain in my left ankle. I looked up the medication and learned there was a blackbox warning of this dosage and achilles tendonitis. I was never warned of this and later learned it should never have been prescribed in the first place. I stopped the medication immediately but had to go to a podiatrist who deals with ankles. Both of my achilles were affect as a result of this medication. It is now June and they are just now improving. I went to another ENT for a second opinion and asked for my records to be sent over. They wouldn't provide me with the CT scan cd just the notes and the medical records didn't show any medications prescribed or his diagnosis etc.. When I asked his office I was told that they do everything through notes and those are not official records. That is a huge red flag. The new ENT did another CT. I have a deviated septum - most people do. No big deal. He did a thorough exam with a scope. He was shocked I was prescribed levaquin. This is when I learned of the blackbox warning - shame on me for not looking it up but I was mentally compromised due to have 3 x the amount of seizures I usually do. I work full time and was unable to during this. New diagnosis. My deviated septum pressed on one of the turbinates which was inflamed due to seasonal allergies. That's it. Use Flonase and Claritin as needed. This man turned my life upside down for months. Be very wary. He will only speak with you if you go back to his office - no phone. I would have paid for a follow up visit. I am reasonable. I do not drive so a phone consult regarding the medication without further testing is what I wanted to speak about. If he wanted to do more tests I could have arranged a ride for that. I learned from new ENT this is not the first time he has had patients come from this doctor and the diagnosis of balloon turbinates is a method he uses to push for unnecessary surgery in the future.

I have been a patient for 6 months now. During these 6 months, I had 2 visits for tooth pain (one…read moreof my back tooth had a hole in it and it almost got to the nerve so it hurt soooooo bad), and a root canal (which solved the tooth pain). Michelle at the front desk was very nice, and she always called me to confirm appointments, or when an earlier appointment was available. I had a very great root canal experience here (this was my first root canal). Dr John Birch performed the root canal. It took about 2 hours in total, and I had a temporary crown put in. I will come back in 1 week for the permanent crown. Dr Birch was great and I highly recommend him to everybody. I heard horrible stories about root canal procedures all the time, including pain afterwards and infection etc. Now it is 10 days after my root canal and I did not have any pain or infection (my jaw felt sore the first day after the root canal). Dr Birch constantly confirmed if I was feeling fine during the procedures, and I did not have to keep my mouth open all the time. He let me close my mouth every once a while so my jaw would not kill me after the numbness wore out. One thing I would like to mention is that Dr Birch only works here on Tuesdays and he is the only dentist that works on root canal. So if you come for a root canal, be prepared for the wait as his schedule might be busy. They do not have private rooms, meaning that everybody can see you once they get in the facility (not including the people in the waiting room). This doesn't bother me much, but I would definitely prefer a private room. Hence only 4 stars. It is a small practice with more of a family feeling here. I recommend Northside Dental to everybody.
