She told me the earpiece could NOT be fixed. Oh no! BUT, she might have a spare earpiece that may not match exactly but that may fix the glasses so that they can be used. Oh Boy! Yes, please. She did it in just a few minutes and sent me on my way. Thanks so much to Sammy at Maui Optix. This business started in 2009 by the three young optometrists, Drs. Lee, Leong and Higuchi, who wanted to open their own Optometry Office near their homes in Pukalani. It has expanded to 4 optometrists and 8 staff. I paid $29 extra for the Optomap as I suffer from recurring melanomas and this scan will pick up anything requiring attention. Luckily I was clear again this time. Money well spent. The office staff are always welcoming and helpful, in person or on the phone, and very patient when doing the initial scans before you see Dr Landis. Easy free parking outside the Costco, and you can step out the optometrists office and order your contacts/glasses within a few feet.
