The car alarm was going crazy police hassling while at the hospital by my family's side as they almost passed away. He got me in and out during a short period I had family support to step away from the hospital. He did me personally a great solid and did it fast. Purchased a 2024 Ford Bronco advertised with 1500 miles, but had 4447 miles on. still not bad however William Sheridan had absolutely NO knowledge of his used Ford Bronco. The inside of the Bronco was filthy from one of the dealers employees whom decided to take it on a joy ride. Even after having them retail the vehicle, once I could see it in the day, the second detail was less than subpar. Nobody had any know what the Bronco or its features. i feel that if your gonna take trade in and sell used cars you should probably do your homework on the vehicle. I felt they were lazy , so lazy they almost forgot to switch my plates. smh. my experience was a nightmare, however finace guy was amazing and I got an unbeatable price, but boy what an absolute horrific experience. It appears this is a new Yelp page, as my old review and the others previously here are nowhere to be found. Nonetheless, I just had a good experience at Faulkner Chevrolet Cadillac in Bethlehem, PA, and I don't mind writing about it. Two years ago we had a problem with the passenger side door locking mechanism not working with the key fob, and requiring manual locking/unlocking of that door only. Turned out that the assembly was worn out and needed replacement. On a 7 year old car it seemed premature to be disabled, but these things happen. The fix then was around $280 for new parts & labor. Well, the same thing happened recently to the driver's door. Hmmm. Plainly, this was either planned obsolescence or poorly engineered equipment, because two locking devices should fail at all, let alone when the car has under a hundred thousand miles. Shopped around for used parts and couldn't find any. Spoke with my local mechanic and caddy dealer and they wanted a lot more than the cost last time. Finally, contacted these guys where I purchased the CTS Sport Wagon and did the last repair. Their price had also increased, but not as much as the others. Decided to drive up to Bethlehem and get the work done. The parts were ordered before my arrival and I was in and out in about two hours, including fairly prices oil change. When I went to pay, the service advisor, David Kim, let me know he had been able to get me a lower price on the parts and thus my invoice was better than expected. Actually, it was about the same as the earlier job. Thus, in my mind I had saved about a hundred bucks on a three hundred plus dollar cost. No complaints there at all! I was looking for a used car and Falkner had one available I was interested in. I spoke with their internet contact a few times and didn't really get anywhere. Eventually I was transferred over to one of their salespeople. We were in talks for a couple weeks. I had time stop by and noticed their car was priced higher than similar cars. I asked them to match the others and was told something along the lines of "this is the best we can do". Literally the same day the car drops by close to $500. At that point it is too late for me to visit. So they lost out on a sale because they refused to give me the discount they would give anyone else later that day. Checking back two weeks later and the car has dropped yet again by 1k. So their "best we can do" was clearly not that. read more

(Note - This only pertains to the Collision Center at this location and it's partially a hack job of a review as while I suppose I could have engaged them further about their shoddy work once it began to surface, I doubt that it would matter since in my personal experience most businesses are highly resistant to accepting blame/responsibility even when it's clearly their fault. This is also regarding work that got done here several years ago. Initially I let it go but since I'm in the process of getting a newer car, the old feelings are resurfacing since I'm getting quotes of $500-$1200 less than what the trade in value of the car that got the work done here should be because of the horrible condition of the paint.) I keep this simple. The car that I currently drive was involved in two accidents that were no fault of my own. One involved getting rear ended on the PA Turnpike as part of an eight car accident and the other involved some 90 year old granny t-boning me when she decided she couldn't wait any longer so she turned into moving traffic and hit me. My insurance company at the time (Progressive and I have since moved on) told me that "I could go anywhere" but that they strongly recommended that I go to one of their approved shops since them negotiating a price/the amount of work needed with a shop outside of their network would be guaranteed "to considerable time" to the time it would take to get my car back. With that fuzzy thought in my head I went to the only place in Bethlehem on their approved list, Faulkner. I don't remember how long it took each time to get the work done and quite honestly that's not even this issue. The issue is the quality of the work performed/the parts used in the repairs. The accidents required having work done on the rear bumper, front bumper, hood, front left corner panel and a lot of other things. Within a few months the hood which NEVER had a problem before now had the paint chipping off around the perimeter and the bare metal exposed which of course now has a nice spotting of exposed rust. Add to that every piece that they replaced has had issues with the paint & clear coat peeling off the car or if it's still there it's bubbling so in general it looks like complete crap. Again, these are problems that didn't exist pre-Faulkner. While I'm not auto body guy, I'm going to apply a little bit of common sense and say that if the first year I had the car the paint on the hood looked fine and then within six months of it being replaced/repaired at Faulkner things began to bubble/peel/chip off the car then I'm pretty sure that it's not an Act of God but more like a case of crap in = crap out in terms of what was done. I should also add on that after I got the car back from the repairs after accident #1 the car initially handled poorly and I got two opinions (one from a dealership and another from a non-dealer) both of which told me that I needed a rear alignment and both told me that no doubt this was something that should have been taken care of in the repair process by Faulkner and handled thru my insurance company, since my car was rear ended fairly hard, yet I got stuck taking care of it to the tune of a few hundred dollars since Faulkner told me that the two issues were unrelated/it wasn't a necessary fix. Nice. So while maybe buying a car here is a good deal based on the good reviews they have, I can tell you first hand that getting repair work done here can be a disaster and personally I would strongly recommended going somewhere else as quality is something that you're not going to get, or at least I know that I didn't, twice. read more

After conducting an extensive online search for a new or near new Chevrolet Cruze in the Eastern part of Pennsylvania, I traveled to Faulkner Chevrolet in Bethlehem. This was my first experience buying a car after having a 2000 Ford Taurus that lasted 18 years. From the initial phone call to the dealership, I found my experience to be great. The sales professionals were very knowledgeable (answered my many questions fully) and did not seem pushy at all. I ended up purchasing a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze with 6200 miles in excellent condition. I was happy with this purchase since I pretty much exhausted my efforts to find a similar deal around the same price in the greater Lehigh Valley and Schuylkill County. They took eight weeks to fix it and look at the picture showing how I got it back. And this was eight weeks of promising to call me back. Every excuse was utilized. I've dealt with hundreds of car dealerships over the years, and they are one of the least transparent that I've attempted to work with. I got an outrageous lease quote from them and attempted to figure out why over the phone. It turns out that they thought it was a good idea to attempt to mark up the lease money factor ONE HUNDRED POINTS. On a customer with Tier 1 credit that was specifically looking for a One Pay lease. Most dealers maybe do one or two of these a year tops. Did you really think that a Tier 1 credit customer asking for something that specific wouldn't realize what you are doing? When I called them out on it they mumbled something about "third party websites" and that the money factor isn't listed on any GM sites, even though this information is available to consumers who know where to look. It's bad enough that you try to gyp customers at all, but if you have an educated customer who calls you out on it, and is even willing to give you the benefit of the doubt that somebody made a mistake, don't double down on your BS and try to make it seem like I don't know what I'm talking about. Needless to say I bought elsewhere, not being able to reach a deal after hard and fair negotiations is one thing, but I don't deal with liars and sneaky people. read more

DO NOT take your car here for an estimate if you have been involved in an accident. I was involved in an accident due to someone hitting me on the passenger side and lots of work needs to be done. When I took it there they only did a VISUAL INSPECTION. They did not even bother lifting up the car! What dealership in their right mind does that??? My right rear tire was obviously damaged so theres no telling how many repairs needed to be done besides what's on the outside. They calculated what they could SEE ONLY and in the end i missed my deductible by 50$! What a joke. Now they delayed my car being fixed and this whole entire process is proving to be a headache. Car returned with a plugged tire..dangerous to drive and never told about the safety! Now i will never know what ACTUALLY happened, but from what I know it seems they popped my tire, tried to repair it, I informed them my tire got an onstar notice while in their care, they checked the tire for me and told me it was plugged by someone. Everyone seemed so nice so I thought nothing of it. The tire kept leaking (never did that before they messed around with the car). I had to stop at gas stations frequently to refill. Got car inspected elsewhere and the guy said it's too dangerous to drive and why did no one tell me. They said "if it's a red plug, it's ours and we'll replace the tire. I am not one to complain when it comes to things like this but how my car was returned was the straw that broke the camels back. I went through the body shop to have a smashed window repaired. I was told this was an easy fix and will take no less than a day. Well 7 days later I got my car back... I called every day asking if my car would be done and kept getting the same answer, " We are still waiting on parts. It will be done tomorrow." I understand a day or 2 but really for a broken window a week? Then it gets better I get my car back and when the gentleman returned my car, the broken window was down. I didn't think much of it as I'm a trusting person and was also late for an appointment so I left. When I pulled the window up at my next destination I noticed they tried ripping a sticker off my window and it was still all stuck on. I just found it incredibly rude that after paying $430 dollars to have a window repaired that there was a half ripped sticker on my window that I now need to razor off and use goo gone. There are also still some shards on glass from the broken window in my car. How do I know this? Because I pull one out of my leg while sitting in my seat today. I would NOT recommend this place for auto body repair. I cannot speak for the sales department. This is a reposting in regards to the work done at the collision center at Faulkner on Stoke Park rd. Initially my car was taken in for repair on the drivers side tail end after being hit. When my car was supposedly complete I was swarmed with a ton of other issues which seemed in direct relation with the work that the Faulkner mechanics had done on the car. Before, body work. After, a stereo that wouldn't work. Battery cover removed and sitting on top of the engine. A sticky driver side window switch. A horn that randomly sounds off throughout the day and night regardless of the car being on. A sunroof that would not close and then once closed it sounded as though something cracked. I'm afraid to open it back up. And a loose rod in the door they had fixed. Which brings me to the reason I deleted my initial posting. After I sent my review Faulkner Collision called me back in. They had fixed the rod in the door and investigated the horn issue. I was told that they have no solution at this time so they will contact me to bring my car back in. After embarrassing my children, waking the neighborhood, and disturbing the local high school I work for over the last three weeks I've still heard nothing back. Mind you this is after I deleted my initial review. Well here it is & I doubt very much that this time it will come down. I unfortunately had to deal with the collision center. While the front desk assistant and on site car rental (Enterprise) was courteous, the work of the auto body shop was a bit to be desired. The mechanical concerns that I presented to the Faulkner car adjuster was never addressed. It took almost twice as long for the repairs to be completed as was initially stated by the adjuster. That I really didn't mind as long as the job was done right, but that wasn't the case. I had installed an after market stereo which had been disconnected by the Faulkner auto repair and when I contacted the representative he said that his mechanics did not do work in that area even after I sent an email picture of the battery cover being removed as soon as I opened the hood. I was told, and I quote, "how do we know it wasn't like that when you brought it in". Note to self and others, take pictures of every inch of your car. Mirrors, stereo, floor mats, whatever. Faulkner appears as though they will assume no responsibility of anything not related with your repair regardless of what they may tamper with. Also, the rear driver side door which was in the area or at least a part of the repair gave off a awkward sound when closing. There was a rattling in the door that wasn't there prior to the repairs. Since that time that the repairs was supposedly complete the horn of my car has been randomly sounding off at times seconds or up to a minute. I had contacted Faulkner Rep repeatedly with no response. In the 2007 Dodge Caliber there isn't a fuse connection so the car horn/alarm could be related to a bad sensor connection that was very likely brought on by the quality work of Faulkner auto body. Had I known that a friend of mine had just gone through issues with Faulkner involving them putting the wrong part on their car and then argued the point until they were undoubtedly shown they were wrong, I would have had Nation Wide send me in another direction. My father has bought every car he has driven from Faulkner over the last 30 years. Kudos to the sales department. If only the Auto Body Shop was as up to speed. This had proven to be a very costly experience on my end after dealing will Faulkner collision. Never again. Who can continue to keep paying on problems that you could not imagine having to deal with taking your car in for repair. It wasn't there before. read more

Updates: Bumped up the rating. Contacted the President of the company, Sam Borelli, he promptly attended to the matter and helped resolve the issue within a week! Don't trust these guys at Faulkner, they are friendly when they want you to buy the car, but once they sold the car to you, they don't care. Waited more than a month and still haven't receive car plate, I had to call them to check, they don't bother calling and tell me there is an issue with the registration. And their request to resolve the registration issue is somewhat illegal. Do not go there! read more

The staff at Faulkner Chevrolet Cadillac turned an awful day into a great one. We had been having an issue with our transmission on our car and brought it in for diagnosis. It had been in previously for the same issue and it was narrowed down to a possible 2 issues. We repaired the first one as it was the least expensive of the 2 but the problem returned so we knew it was the other part that would require replacement. Upon returning for the repair, Scott, the service tech called me directly and told us that we had a bigger problem and to come have a look. He explained the issue and the fact that due to the design of the vehicle it would require complete disassembly of the majority of the engine compartment and shock tower. It would have cost almost as much as the car was worth to repair it and with the high mileage on the vehicle there was no guarantee that the vehicle wouldn't be back for other issues in the near future. We were given ample time to figure out what we wanted to do with the car and were not pressured to make any decisions. Ultimately we decided to trade the car in and look for a used vehicle. I met with Tim David and explained the situation. He asked what we were looking for and if we had a specific budget. Once we had established those things he immediately had 3 vehicles that would fit our budget and needs. Not only did Tim find the right vehicle, he came with me to my home so that my wife could see and drive the vehicle. We returned to the dealership and Tim said to take our time making our decision. My wife and I returned to the dealership and Tim made every effort to meet our budget and when we presented him with our bottom line, he and sales manager Mark Eager made it happen. The last step was financing the vehicle and Mike in the finance department got us in and out in no time without any pressure to buy add-on packages. So far the car is great, but equally important was the fact that we didn't walk out of the dealership feeling like we had been fleeced. It was quite the opposite. Everyone at Faulkner Chevrolet made the effort on our behalf in a situation that would have been very easy to take advantage of. Okay, so first things first, I am not here to beat up my sales person, Greg was always professional and polite. I want to start off with a basic overview. Found a truck online, went down and test drove it and loved it. Its high mileage so its bound to have a few things wrong and I accept that. Went through the process and bought the truck cash! Heres where things start going wrong. First thing that went wrong is the tpms sensor is on and the two rear ones are not working.I informed them of this as soon as I took the truck, they continue to say that because the wheels are aftermarket they won't replace them, I offered to pay for the sensors if they would take care of the labor, but still no avail. The light continues to be on. Then a the deposit that we put down on the truck was never refunded, they gave that back after we brought it to their attention, and I'm sure that if we didn't they would have never caught it. Then we realized that the price we agreed too was off on the contract, now I understand that this was done quick being that it had to be done within a certain amount of time being that the main purchaser was only visiting, but, there was a difference in $2,500, it took them two weeks to rectify! Finally they said that it was labeled as a shop fee and they would return it. Third, I am registering the truck in NY and got a temporary plate, it was good for two months....bought the truck in September by the middle of October I was still waiting on the plates. Turns out that they never had us sign the paperwork for the title. The sad part about this again is that I had to be in the dealership for them to say a word about this. Why not give me a phone call when you realize so we can get it taken care of! Overall, this dealership experience has been the worst of my life and I will never buy from here again. They continue to not live up to there part of the deal and I will make sure everybody I know never buys from them. They get a 10 in my opinion. I needed emergency service on a Saturday and they worked me in, had it fixed by noon, and told me it was still under warranty (Van is 4 years old) Everyone I dealt with was friendly and courteous. They made what could have been a nightmare a dream needing help 300 miles away from home. I hope I never need them for this kind of service again but I can recommend them for anyone needing Chevy service in the area. read more

I was looking at a Jeep on their website on Saturday, sent in an email to inquire about availability and was told it was available, on Sunday I went to the lot to look at the car even though they were closed and found that it was indeed still on the lot, Monday morning received another email that it was available and when I went in to buy Monday afternoon, they told me it was sold over the weekend. Why would they tell me a vehicle they sold "over the weekend" was available as of Monday? The staff was very apologetic in this situation and told me they had found another one at their other location that matched exactly what I wanted. They told me they had worked everything out with the sales manager at the other dealership and the car was set to be driven down to them the following day. They even required that I put a deposit on the car to secure it and ensure it isn't shown or sold to anyone else. The day I'm supposed to pick up the car I receive a call from them saying that the car was unfortunately sold to someone else and that they would try to find me another one. Sold to someone else? What exactly is the purpose of leaving a deposit then? The fact that they did this to me twice in the matter of three days leads me to believe that their common practice is the bait and switch method. Overall, very untrustworthy dealership that I would not recommend to anyone. Go here only if you're looking to waste all of your time. read more

Took the car in for inspection only. Very friendly staff, very clean facility, timely service, etc. One thing I can say about this dealership is I can trust them & feel that they're honest with me. If the car gets a clean bill of health, they tell me that. They don't find something to replace just to make money, like some dealers do with brakes for instance. Couldn't be happier with Faulkner.
