I haven't been to the salon so I can't say anything about that but I booked a visit to my house for make up and hair for a wedding I was going to. They sent me a lady named farideh and an assistant. Let me tell you that this was such a waste of time. She arrived and I showed her what I wanted. A simple updo with a braid on the side. She told me she couldn't do the braid because it won't look good on me. I laughed and said okay just do the rest then. She agreed. She fixed the front of my hair and said lets do your make up and we will come back to the hair which I found extremely odd but agreed anyway. She looked at my face and said Your face has hair and make up will be hard to do because of it. I was so offended. I have never been told that ever and I've had make up done by professionals all the time. I ignored her rude comment and asked her to please continue. She then puts on my foundation as if It was lotion. she rubbed it together on her palms and smeared it roughly on my face. Mind you her hands smelled so bad as if she hadn't washed her hands in days. I looked down at her supplies and see two sets of the cheapest eye shadow palette you can find that had only two colors each. I told her I can let her use my eye shadow palette if she would like and she said okay. She started doing my eyebrows and spent 15 minutes turning my eye brows into the thickest darkest things I've ever seen. She got to my eye shadow and literally smeared two colors on my eye lids with the cheap little sponge on a stick that comes with eye shadows. When she went to put eye liner on I asked her if she owns any make up brushes she said no. She literally spent more time on my eye brows than my eye shadow. I then proceeded to tell her that I change my mind on the make up and if she could please just do my hair. She said okay and we went back to my hair. She kept looking at the picture of what I wanted and then continuing on my hair. I assumed she was following the pic. When she was done I looked at the mirror and was appalled. It was nothing like the picture and from getting up off my chair hairs were already opening up. I was so upset that I went off at her and told her that if she didn't know what she was doing then why did she even book with me. She wasted my time. I was late to the wedding I was invited to because I had to run around looking for someone to do my make up and hair. I will never again use this place and will warn everyone about them. Please please please do yourself a favor and book somewhere else or you will be so sorry. I honestly don't even think she has a license. read more

Big mistake going into this salon! DO NOT GO!! I walked in showing the owner, Beni a picture of the color I want and she with confidence says she can do it. I ended up in the salon for 5 hours!!!!! She put bleach all over my hair. She was so all over the place and did not pay attention to my color that all my hair turned orange. She asked her husband who also works there to wash my hair, he did not know how to even do that!! It was ridiculous. I walked out with dead orange hair. HORRIBLE! Both husband and wife claim they have owned TONY and GUY salon but its all a lie! DO NOT GO!! read more

If I could give no stars I would. I was referred to this salon and told they would be able to provide hair/makeup at a reasonable price at a location of my request. Bennie took significant time sending pictures of her work indicating many women do not want to be photographed. At her request she asked for a deposit which was fine but it took her several days to locate the bank information. I reside near San Francisco so it was difficult to research the salon further. Bennie sent a different person to complete my makeup/hair and my sister-in-laws, Farideh. She was on time and brought another women who assisted in handing her the curling iron and bobby pins. Farideh had very outdated equipment and her makeup was poor quality. By text she indicated I needed to have my own eyelashes which okay not a big deal but also my own glue for the eyelashes. She was shown pictures of the desired hairstyles and sad unable to achieve the looks. I had her redo my hair but was frustrated as it was over an hour at this point. Later I fixed it on my own because it was horrific. One sister-in-law she continually commented how she needed to tweeze her eye brows and didn't complete her hair as she said it was to thick. She also made comments to her the look was not appropriate for a wedding. My other sister-in-law asked her to leave after making several inappropriate comments and was in tears. Wow, would give this place 100 stars if I could. Benni did such an amazing job with my hair. I called the day of and Benni fit me in her schedule last minute! I've only dyed my hair once before I went to Benni so I was a little nervous, but as soon as I walked into the salon she made me feel very welcome and I felt so comfortable. She listened to what I wanted and she triple checked how I wanted my hair done before she touched my hair. I loved that she did exactly what I wanted and asked for my opinion when she had suggestions. I loved that she had 25+ years of experience and she knew exactly what to do with my hair. My favorite part was that my hair looked so natural and all the colors blended together very well. She is a true artist. The whole process was very smooth and she was so sweet! I loved the outcome and will be going here to get my hair done in the future. Also, if you wear the hijab Benni will accommodate you and create a private area to get your hair done! Had my hair blow dried by Benni Saturday...my hair looked absolutely gorgeous & natural! After the blow dry my hair was full of body and not flat at all. I have been going to Behni for the past three years and I end up leaving happy with her work each and every time. In fact they exceed my expectations. I get cut, color, and hi lights most of the time and I get face makeup for special occasions. I specially love the face makeup. I honestly think she is a real talented and skilled beautician. She is superb at her work, but sometimes I wonder if she knows how good she is because she is so down to earth. I have gone to some well-known and prestigious salons in the past and have paid top dollars, but it is sometimes more about them than it is about the customer who is investing her time and money in hopes of looking her best. However, when you go to Salon Smart, it is all about you and achieving your best looks and that feels great! They are flawless in Salon Smart!!!
