Beauty by Dolly never does me wrong and I'll never trust anyone but Faranak to thread my brows! I've had two types of services done by Beauty by Dolly, threading and female Brazilians multiple times. Time and time again, they've been professional, kind, and great at conversations! I'm sensitive to pain, but they're amazing at making conversation to try and distract me from the hair removal pain. They've since closed their Black Mountain location, but the Carmel Mountain location is clean, has plenty of parking, and is easy to find and drive to. They offer tap to pay, and QR codes to pay whichever staff does your service. I personally have the brow tab, which gives you 6 brow threadings for the price of 5. As of 08/15/2026, the brow tab is $90. read more

I've been coming here regularly and have always been happy with my usual brow service, so I was a bit disappointed with my most recent visit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My usual brow artist wasn't available, so I had someone else do my brows.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, she cut/scraped the skin just below my eyebrow during the service. I have somewhat sensitive skin, so the area was painful and visibly irritated afterward. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She did apologize, which I appreciated, and thankfully my eyebrows themselves still turned out fine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, I noticed that the other eyebrow was done without any cuts or irritation, so I feel like a little more care could have been taken during the service. Got my Brazilian done here. I was feelin' a bit sugary rather than hard wax and Breanna didn't disappoint. They offer 30 minute or 15 minute appointments and I opted for 15 minutes. Breanna was super swift and her pulls were extremely smooth! The thing to note is that, if you want a thorough wax, choose the 30 minute appointment. I like 15 minutes as I wanna pop in and out but some sparse hairs will be left behind. I've gotten 30 minutes done before and they take their time and go over the leftovers with threading. I've come here before and thought the quality for the price was overrated but I thought I'd give BBD another chance because of a coupon I received. I was very mistaken. I specifically asked Assaieh to help level out my eyebrows. I even grew out my brows to make it easier, but the unevenness is even more pronounced after leaving. She also left broken hairs, with the root still left (Never had that happen before at a threading salon). Other beauty salons I've been to have kept my eyebrows long to accentuate my face shape, however she threaded both too short and had one longer than the other! I hate looking at the mirror because all I can see are how uneven my brows are. I will definitely not be coming back again. It isn't worth the $17 or the distress. read more

I actually had no idea that BBD opened up a new location in Carmel Mtn. To my surprise, I also had no idea that one of my fave browtists (Faranak) is there--she's always fun to talk to and is probably one of the few people who I reallly trust with my brows. At the same time, I'm a lot more flexible with allowing anyone to thread me at BBD compared to being unsure about how my brows will look like at a place that is just "ok". That's when you know you're in good hands.
