I have ultra sensitive skin and I never break out with her treatments. I do microdermabrasion and a hydrafacial together. My skin looks and feels amazing. Her treatments are equivalent to a Beverly Hills high-end spa treatment. The all-natural products feel and smell amazing--blissful aromatherapy. It had been a year since my last precovid cut and color. A year of new growth, but also layers that were long overgrown and roots that badly needed to see color again. Victoria is exactly who I had spent years looking for: someone with a vision to see through the chaos into what could be. I came in with straggly ends thinking that I needed to invest in extensions for my thinning hair. She quickly assessed the situation, cut off several inches, and showed me that my hair was full and healthy. It was really a shocker, as every other stylist I had been to had recommended extensions. But she was right. When she cut off the access, my hair bounced back and once again looks thick and healthy. For coloring, Victoria was a magician. I let her have free reign to do what she wanted. My dark brown hair was lightened considerably with added highlights that blended out to a kind of balayage. I have been receiving nonstop compliments on the color since the day I left. This has never happened before. I brought my daughter in the next week for her cut, in Victoria once again came to our rescue. My 10-year-old left feeling like she was floating on a cloud with her beautiful new cut. Thank you! read more

Pricey for a meh haircut... I've gone here a few times and have had a different hairstylist each time. Mainly because I was never overly satisfied or giddy about my haircuts. It's just well..mehhh For the price you pay, I guess I was expecting a 'WOW' factor ! Service is friendly for the most part. They have some nice products such as Moroccan Oil and yes it's pricey as well. Nice location and it's a one stop shop for me here: Nearby mani/pedi, Fresh n Easy, restaurants, and a gas station. Went here a while ago to have my hair styled but forgot to write a review. Great experience, I made an appointment but was seated right away and didn't have to wait even a few minutes for my stylist. My hair turned out beautiful, everyone loved it. My stylist- Victoria was very friendly and really knew how to work with the texture of my hair to get it the way I wanted it. I have had Victoria style my hair before and it always turned out well above my expectations. This salon is in a nice area in 4S Ranch and is very clean with talented stylists. I have known the owners for a very long time and they are very nice and family oriented people. I used to work across the street, I will miss them now that I no longer work over there. My daughter suggested her stylist Claude. She not only does hair but runs her salon so professionally! The place is so Feng Shui and clean. This place was very mediocre. Definitely not the high-end salon experience I was expecting. The haircut itself, although not terrible, was not what I was expecting either. The best way I can describe this place in terms of haircut quality is Supercuts or a local barbershop, but charging double the price. There are many other great hair places in the area that would do a better job at half the price. I will not be coming back here in the future. read more

I adore Salon De Claude, I have been coming here for sometime. I first met Claude at UCSD where she opened up a second salon. I got out to here main salon now that I am no longer a student. The salon is great and a family run business that know hair! My hair always looks great and has been so much healthier after seeing Claude, she taught me ways to style my hair without heat and uses gentle products. I have thinner hair that breaks easily and she knows how to make it look and feel great. My hairstyle also grows out well and looks good in between salon visits. read more

I had never been here before but I needed my hair done for a wedding that I was a bridesmaid for. Chloe had never met me before, and she nailed a great half-up-do perfect for a beach wedding and a girl that has naturally curly hair. Girl at the front desk didn't tell me to come with washed and dried hair already, but Chloe made the most of it and one of the other stylists pitched in and helped her in between her clients since it would take longer. I have to admit that while I have never had my hair cut at Salon de Claude I do visit there a few times a month for their manicurist Diane Truong and esthetician Milana Pat. Both are amazing! My 5 star rating is for them! Diane's manicures and pedicures last about two hours and she is meticulous and very clean. I can go about 3-4 weeks without needing to re-visit because she does such a great job. I was very disappointed to learn that Milana has recently moved to a new Salon. Anyone that is looking for a great esthetician can visit Milana at Salon Forte in Solana Beach. Added bonus: The salon is across the street from Fidels so you can grab a delicious margarita after you see her! I will still go to Salon de Claude as long as Diane is there. In general the staff has always been very friendly and the salon is neat and clean. If you are looking for an amazing hair stylist I would recommend seeing Rachel Lloyd at Salon Salon in Fairbanks Ranch. Nothing against Salon de Claude but I've been seeing Rachel for years and I don't trust anyone else to cut my hair! read more

This is a review just for a quick bang trim. Went in to get my bangs trimmed and everyone was very attentive. Receptionist helped me right away and Maureen cut my bangs. The cut didn't take long and I can see now! She told me she layered it because my hair is fairly thick and so it'd grow out nicely. $55 + tip might be a little pricey for some people, but I get my hair cut very infrequently (over a year in between) and the pampering definitely makes it worth it. Each time I've been here, the scalp massage when they wash my hair has been AMAZING. My hair also smells great for the day and is incredibly shiny for a couple of weeks afterwards. There is coffee in the waiting area as well as a number of beauty products to look at while you wait (and you may have to wait 10-15 minutes past your appointment time to get started) but what's nice is they don't push you to buy anything. Claude does spend a lot of time styling hair, but she is creative and pretty much knows what to do just by looking at you if you aren't sure what you want. She owns the salon, and is very friendly and funny--and she remembered me even though the last time I was in her salon was 1.5 years ago. Her daughters are the receptionists. Also, if you go in for a cut and aren't liking how it looks, you can try and go back in and ask to get it fixed. She did this for me free of charge just a few days after my haircut! read more
