Full wipe down and no back was turned till completed. Impressive to say the least. So, as a new patient Dr. T was AMAZING and made me feel so welcomed. The hygienist who actually cleaned better than most (no lie) asked me if I wanted fluoride which I declined. I just don't do extra fluoride and it was "ok". I really like they provide choices of treatments and also share the cost so a person can see if it's in their budget. I mean it was under 20., but sometimes it just doesn't work for the pocket book. I've always thought I needed veneers and Dr made it very clear I had solid teeth and bonding was enough and price was VERY reasonable. It's been a long time I've met a dentist who didn't try to $ grab you. Also this dentist has a ton of experience. He also explains the "why" things happen. I love that. This way I can make changes. Omg! Made an appointment for my son two days later I was so impressed. It's interesting when the front staff and back staff are all so nice one can bet the dentist is as well. I'm new to the area. Definitely worth a shot coming here if you are as well. Oh... how could I have forgotten the two therapy dogs. I didn't see them anywhere so if nervous about hypo-allergy, sweet well behaved dogs , no worries they are never bothersome or even seen but I did have a moment that I was uneasy, as I get with dental visits sometimes. I was asked if I would like a therapy dog. Wow! It was like they held my hand putting their paw next to me. I instantly remained at ease. I wish our old dentist in florida had that for the kids. The first impression a patoent has. I should have turned around and left based solely on her. She did not acknowledge me until I said hello. Was busy chit chatting with another staff member. Even then she did not bother to look up from the computer and make eye contact or welcome me. She asked for information that had already been provided and it wasn't until I said they already had it did she bother to look in the file. Additionally, she was also rude when I asked if this is where I checked out. Said "where else would it be". Not that any staff member gave us a tour or directed us to the checkout area when the appointment was finished. I was not provided with pre appointment instructions. Did not receive any advanced paperwork or phone call. I did ask upon arriving if our appointment was today because I did mot receive a call in advance or any instructions. The response was "We do not call out. It is your responsibility to know when your appointment is". The Doctor was upset that steps had not been followed prior to appointment. As a result not all pain options were an option. Post appointment and after speaking with several other medical professionals as well as another oral surgeons office, it quickly became apparent that I was lied to. My son was put through unnecessary pain and trama as a result. All options should have been made available. My child begged me not to take him back. Cried because I did not stand up for him when he said he was in pain. Looking back I should have advocated for him. I didn't realize that he actually was in pain. I thought he was just scared. First oral surgery and being a child, or any age for that matter, I trusted the Doctor to do what was in my child's best interest and to reassure me that he was okay and not in pain. Do your research. Don't take a referral from another Doctor at face value. Ask questions. Find out if they have personally used them. If they would take their family to them. My referral came from an office who did not know them. Their staff was applaud at the way we were treated and apologized profusely. Please don't let this happen to you or anyone you love.

Patients are now required to pay the full cost upfront (in my case, nearly $300 for a routine cleaning) and HOPE that insurance reimburses them weeks later. I cannot imagine what this would cost for a family bringing in multiple children for a routine cleaning on one day, easily over $1,000 required up front!!! Let alone any other more expensive procedure. As a direct result, I cannot continue care under this policy. I understand the office has implemented this due to past unpaid bills by other clients, but it is absolutely unfair to penalize responsible patients for others' shortcomings. I have already found a new practice that accepts insurance directly.

I went to dentist knowing I was most likely needing a root canal because the tooth had been hurting me for weeks. Sure enough the Xrays agreed with me and I was given two options, pull the tooth or root canal. Since it was a back tooth and I use it for chewing I decided root canal was the way to go. The dentist who I had never seen before and was ready to begin. I trusted the dental team to do right by me and how wrong I was. They should have told me to wait to do the root canal and get me on antibiotics to lessen the "hotness" of that tooth, but they didn't say that. For the next 2 1/2 hours if was crying and shaking in pain. The dentist gave me multiple numbing shots that did not completely work, so he began injecting the shots right into the nerves. I was the last patient there that day and it was a good thing because no body would go to this practice if they heard the patient in the next room crying and screaming in pain.

The pain kept me up all night, I was desperate. I set the appointment for later in the day at a further location than I would have liked so I didn't miss work. It was an hour drive from my job, 30 from home. They called me that morning to change it for earlier. Said it was either that or a different day. Since it was a Thursday and they were booked Friday, I had no choice. The appointment was fine and the Doctor did treat an infection in the tooth. They gave me an estimate for a root canal and crown. $1600. They offered their crazy high interest financing (35%) but, since it was near the end of the year and I could load the total on my FSA card AAAAND the girl said the estimate was good for 90 days ( google it- it is a thing) I thought " perfect! Ill schedule at the beginning of January when my card reloaded." Also- the surgeon only comes to the Strongsville location once a month. I called for the appointment in January and to my surprise they added $800 to my total!! The prices went up she said. But I had a 90 day guaranteed estimate!! Nope. The price hike invalidated it. But hey, I can use that high interest financing which would cost me an additional $875.00 Forget that! I luckily found a private practice that took me and took care of the issue for less than the initial estimate from Aspen. In a dire emergency, like if you need a infected tooth treated, and cant find anywhere else, (like seriously, TRY )fine. BUT keep in mind they only have a surgeon once a month, all services must be paid for on the spot, OR use that crazy high financing. And a guarantee means NOTHING here.
