I cracked a tooth!!!!!! Ouch. Yep it happened. And Aspen dental was able to get me in quickly. I have never been here. So I knew I should change my dentist to Aspen. Which I immediately did. The staff are friendly and helpful. The xray machine was cool and weird. The only issue I see with it. They should have a curtain. In hindsight, I should have listened to the poor reviews. Don't make my mistake, read this FIRST. I went on the Aspen website early one morning in dire need of an emergency appointment for a broken tooth. The pain kept me up all night, I was desperate. I set the appointment for later in the day at a further location than I would have liked so I didn't miss work. It was an hour drive from my job, 30 from home. They called me that morning to change it for earlier. Said it was either that or a different day. Since it was a Thursday and they were booked Friday, I had no choice. The appointment was fine and the Doctor did treat an infection in the tooth. They gave me an estimate for a root canal and crown. $1600. They offered their crazy high interest financing (35%) but, since it was near the end of the year and I could load the total on my FSA card AAAAND the girl said the estimate was good for 90 days ( google it- it is a thing) I thought " perfect! Ill schedule at the beginning of January when my card reloaded." Also- the surgeon only comes to the Strongsville location once a month. I called for the appointment in January and to my surprise they added $800 to my total!! The prices went up she said. But I had a 90 day guaranteed estimate!! Nope. The price hike invalidated it. But hey, I can use that high interest financing which would cost me an additional $875.00 Forget that! I luckily found a private practice that took me and took care of the issue for less than the initial estimate from Aspen. In a dire emergency, like if you need a infected tooth treated, and cant find anywhere else, (like seriously, TRY )fine. BUT keep in mind they only have a surgeon once a month, all services must be paid for on the spot, OR use that crazy high financing. And a guarantee means NOTHING here. read more

I tried to get in for an appointment for a cracked tooth. I spent awhile going through answering service crap. I finally spoke with someone who said they could setup the appointment. Asked me about insurance I have Medicaid she told me we don't accept it (the web search said they did) but good news we have a coupon to waive the fee. We can get you in today at 3pm. I said great book it. I got a missed call from their office I called back and they asked the same thing about Medicaid. She said t here will be a fee I said no it was waived with a coupon. No there it's no coupon that person must have been new. She did nothing to solve and just kept saying "it's the policy " Need a way to post a review without one star. read more

I had a horrible experience with aspen dental and them not honoring their work and warranty. From the minute I had the work done I knew something wasn't right and was blown off time and time again and eventually wrote a yelp review. In response the next day I received a call From a Aspen dental customer service representative who basically was a hood rat bully trying to get me to rescind my review and concede to a deal that was insulting. All I ever wanted was them to admit they possibly made a Mistake and fix it!!! But having some uneducated thug try and shame me for needing the dental work and call me a liar while saying she speaks "facts". It was beyond disgusting for any company responding to a negative review for not honoring their work. read more

Worst experience ever. Confirmed my appointment on line, got several reminders of said confirmation and when I show up they didn't have my appointment. I rescheduled for later in the month thinking it was just an honest mistake. But the same thing happened with the follow up appointment. Two strikes and Aspen Dental is out ! Terrible service! Do it to this establishment! The woman taking my X-ray would ask me questions and then leave the room in the middle of my responses. Was told someone would come and talk to me in a couple minutes about my options. After 30 minutes I left. On the way out I passed several employees just chatting and 1 employee sitting at her desk staring off into space. read more

I called Aspen to get a dental cleaning without x-rays. The receptionist would not tell me if this is allowed, and said I have to come in and talk to the dentist, and the dentist will decide, not the patient, and that I cannot get a cleaning without xrays. I had xrays last year at my previous dentist before moving. Too many xrays = cancer! read more

The dental part is great. But the billing process has been awful. They quote me $200, and sent me a $1700 bill. Since my insurance doesn't pay its part and the negotiating process takes up to three years like Aspen said. I need to pay the $1700 now. Plus!! They don't deal with medical insurance! Even I got the claim covered by half with my medical insurance! From my experience, don't just believe a quote they give you! You might end up paying everything even more than a patient who doesn't have insurance, because they will at least give patients without insurance a discount! read more

I couldn't be happier with my resent visit to Aspen Dental. Each and every person I encountered was So helpful. I was 34 weeks pregnant and had a tooth break. I was trying so hard to wait until my baby was delivered to have my tooth fixed but I was in so much pain and it could not wait! The dentist worked with my dr to make sure I got the appropriate care and his bedside manor and genuine concern for me and my baby made a terrible experience as pleasant as it could have possibly been. My daughter needed her wisdom teeth pulled.---They overcharged her for the counsultation--charging her full price and then also billing her insurance and double dipping. Then they filed a pre-treatment claim with made up claims to get more money. They claimed drugs as one treatment and anesthesia as another. The insurance denied the drug claim because it was bogus. We chose not to go after the prelimanary scam. read more

I have had some work done on my teeth and they need a great deal more. I agreed to make payments on tall my dental needs. As I needed more work, I was told to bring in a thousand dollars and they would proceed. No problem, or so I thought. On 1-24-2014, in sub zero freezing, I showed up at my appointment at 8 AM, with the agreed upon thousand dollars. At this time, I was whisked into the backroom and informed that my balance was too large for them to proceed. I reminded them that they agreed to payments and that I needed to bring in a grand for the work. I was ignored. I realized that they were a dishonest company, and I advise people to avoid them at all costs. As a writer, I will, in the future, include them in an article as a company to avoid like the plague. read more

I had a great experience at Aspen dental. The secretaries were very nice and helpful. And all of the staff workers were great. I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Nowrocki and the procedure went great. I hand IV sedation and woke up after feeling groggy and numb but did not have much pain. Here I am the next morning after all the numbness wore off and I am feeling minimal pain just a little discomfort. I definitely recommend Aspen dental. read more

DISASTER. they wanted to make money off of me SO badly they recommended dentures when they should have pushed me to save my teeth. The dentures make me gag no matter what adjustments or steps are taken. They are truly awful. I cannot wear them. They don't really seem to care at all about me. Also, I WAS supposed to have 2 cleanings for the few teeth I have remaining, but for whatever reason, that hasn't happened they want to charge me for something that was supposed to be already included. Went in on a Friday for a tooth that had broken. The doctor said I will need oral surgery since it broke below the gum line and gave me antibiotics and pain pills. They told me they would call Monday to schedule for the procedure. After taking the pain medication, I started vomiting, so I went to the ER to get something else for the pain until I could call the office on Monday. Monday came and no one called. At about 2pm I called them and spoke to Matt, who told me he was with a patient and would call me right back. He didn't. 2 hours later I called and spoke to Christine. After telling her I needed to schedule an appointment for the procedure and also telling her the ER Doctor only gave me enough pain medication for the weekend, she said they 'don't have time' to process my insurance info to give me a cost so I can schedule it and said the oral surgeon can't do anything until August anyways. Didn't even offer me any other options or offer to have the doctor call in a new prescription. Absolutely TERRIBLE. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Mouth pain is the worst and they definitely were not eager to help me out, at all. read more

CHRISTINE, THE OFFICE MANAGER, IS A SCAM ARTIST. I needed my wisdom tooth out, and she was helping me schedule an appointment. I explained I planned to use CareCredit to pay, and she told me to come in beforehand to get paperwork taken care of. As soon as I got there, she started getting information from me which I figured was for the file. She then started asking me about my income, which I thought was odd, but I figured now that maybe she was just already getting started on the CareCredit. So I asked what she was doing, and before answering she gave me a paper and told me to make sure the information was correct, and to sign, which again, I thought was for the file. After I signed she then answered that it was basically that, except just the "version" that they used, and in the same breath came back with "oh they aren't able to help you", and THEN informed me of the other payment options, or that I could just still use CareCredit, WHICH SHE KNEW I WAS PLANNING ON, handed me a folder of paperwork to get started on and bring back that I already had in my email and practicality SHOVED me out the door. She got me in there simply to apply me for a line of credit that I DID NOT ASK FOR, and DID NOT NEED. She NEVER explained my options, or what she was doing. She disguised the concent form as procedure information, and she took complete advantage of me. I've been working ENDLESSLY making countless sacrifices to raise my credit, fighting for every single point, and she destroyed it all just to get one more tally on her board of applications put through this month. She set me back YEARS, and delayed for that much longer me being able to buy a nice house for my babies to grow up in. Christine, you should be ashamed. Take your cheap piece of sh*t trophy for most applications this month which you care so much about to ruin people's lives over and I'm sure you'll get considering you're a HEARTLESS, manipulative, deceitful evil person, and f*ck yourself with it. read more

They drilled all the way through my teeth for fillings and caused an infection. They continued to deny it after my filling simply crumbled out of my tooth 2 weeks later. Once it was brought to their attention regarding my infection and poor filing, he refused to fix the filling that he screwed up and just referred me out to a specialist. When I asked for a refund regarding what I had to prepay for, they simply sent me a bill that I didn't owe before I decided to leave from their care. It's funny how I didn't owe money before, but now I magically do after I received terrible and unacceptable care. I've seen many dentists in my life and this guy was by far the worst dentist I've ever visited. I will never let anyone go to this aspen dental without hearing about my terrible experience. This dentist has me in so much pain that I didn't have before that I'm barely able to sleep through the night. I sleep with ice packs and live on ibuprofen. When I complained about the pain, he prescribed me 25 narcotics. When I came back two weeks later, he tried to prescribe me 25 more instead of fixing his problem. When people wonder how innocent and good people become addicted to narcotics and turn to heroin, this doctor is one of the many reasons why. 50 pills is by far too many. The only good thing about this office is that the Dr.'s staff is pleasant. read more

I hate going to the dentist but Dr. Guduguntla is the best I have ever been to. He is kind, gentle and patient. For me he he did what no other dentist would do, he recommended against what I wanted but he still did as I requested. I also think the staff are very courteous and considerate. read more

We are new to the area and I needed to schedule appointments for my wife and me, I scheduled over the phone and did separate days as we have young children at home. After the initial x-rays I was told that everything looked fine and I could go to the front to schedule my cleaning. I thought and said "what? I thought that's what I already scheduled, and why I'm here" I was then told that they do an assessment first then schedule the cleanings. I've never heard of this, but I am far more irritated by them NOT telling me this when I made the initial appointments. Now we need to have 4 appointments (between my wife and me). If I was told up front about this, I would have just found another dentist to begin with. I will not be returning. read more
