I found myself reviewing and correcting court documents multiple times before they were submitted. Several motions were filed incorrectly, resulting in the court denying them due to procedural issues. Communication was also a major concern. Responses to emails and requests for updates were often delayed or nonexistent, leaving me uncertain about the status of my case. I felt that I had to repeatedly follow up just to receive basic information about filings and deadlines. Most concerning was that my attorney withdrew from my post-divorce matter while a child custody case was still pending. After initially agreeing to represent me, I was informed that the case had become too COMPLICATED. This left me in a difficult position during an active custody dispute leaving me without representation regarding my son. During court appearances, I did not feel that my attorney was adequately prepared or familiar with the details of my case. This was frustrating and undermined my confidence in the representation I was receiving. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this attorney. Clients deserve timely communication, accurate filings, thorough preparation, and representation that continues through critical stages of their case. I would also like to state when searching for an attorney make sure you gather all of your facts to present to the attorney. Do as much research as you can. I scheduled my free consultation and I immediately felt welcomed by staff. The wait time to speak to the attorney was at most 10 minutes. Once I sat down with the attorney he asked me a ton of questions that were very pertinent to the case. Had he not asked specific questions I would not have chosen him. The attorney gathered all his facts and advised me of the the possibility of petitioning for my husband. Of course I reciprocated and asked a lot of questions as well. I had a list of questions and he answered them all. I feel this attorney is knowledgeable and definitely knows what he is doing. Also a key point to take into consideration is that this attorney's has a cheaper fee than other attorneys here in Nevada. This didn't play a factor in my decision to contract him. However it is a plus. I will keep updating as case status changes.
