After a less-than-stellar experience by one of the more local, yet highly visible oil change places in the area, I was none too keen to get my oil changed by them again. Lo and behold, there was a Valvoline nearby, which I had used years ago while living in another state. When I pulled in, there were large flags indicating discounts for LSU faculty and staff (woohoo - a win I wasn't expecting - about 20% off!) and the folks there directed me to pull around into one of the bays. I was there only one there around 9am on a Friday. Brad, Dontae, and Elliot were so friendly and fast at getting my oil changed - took maybe about 20 minutes when all was said and done (including changing out my engine air filter and resetting my dashboard inspection indicator, which is always a hassle - thanks VW for that!). I will definitely be going back when I'm due for my next oil change!

Late afternoon still haven't heard anything so I reached out and they said it was ready. Drove over to pick it up and my truck is sitting in the parking lot with the windows rolled down for some reason... it was a pretty day so I didn't make fuss about it, but found it somewhat disrespectful as my personal belongings were not secured and open in a public parking lot. Went to pay for the work and was told I didn't owe anything - was not given an explanation and assumed it's bc I bought a set of tires there last year - got in my truck and drove off and then noticed that the PSI in my tires were all different... they passenger rear tire that was 10 psi higher than the driver side seemed to have been the one that was patched but that was a clear indication that they did not rotate my tires. Upon inspection, they not only did not rotate my tires but they didn't even put the caps back on my passenger side tires. While my tire that was plugged is still keeping air, this whole experience was a dumpster fire and a waste of my time - I was willing and wanted to pay for good service but was told to go "have a nice day", which now seeing all subpar work, meant they didn't feel like doing quality work on a Sunday bc it got in the way of their wake and bake and having a leisurely shift. Lost my trust and will not be going back.

My daughter attends LSU and was having car issues. We have AAA they don't provide this service in Baton Rouge (to bring a new car battery and replace it on site) I called Alvin he was very professional and provided this in timely matter I would use Mobile Car Care 225 again. He went to the Auto Store, picked up the battery and was in contact with me and my daughter and meet her at the apartment complex, drove up the the 7th floor of the parking garage and changed out the battery within the hour. He was in contact with me throughout the process and was very nice and professional with my daughter.
