You can tell/see they are now giving you low-quality tires for a high price. We compared prices with Walmart, and it was pretty crazy how much the difference was. At Walmart, the tires are $80 a piece; here, they were trying to charge $140 a piece. Depending on their mood, it will give you your money's worth. We just came here to get 3 new tires a few months ago, and the total was $300, and they were great. Now, all of a sudden, it'll be $560 for 4 new tires. When I pulled up today, I could tell by the energy they didn't want to do any work, and they were just trying to get over on me. Maybe it was because I was by myself, so they thought I may not know anything since I'm a woman. I went ahead and got my one tire that needed to be replaced and tires rotated since I didn't have the time to leave and go to another place, but they can count on me to never return. I did not appreciate this type of service as a whole especially considering me and my boyfriend have been coming here for years and recommending people to come here. I'm understanding of our economy but low quality and trying to charge high quality pricing is disrespectful.

They have a waiting room that makes you feel like you are at home. While you wait you can enjoy free soft drinks,coffee,and hot tea which was very nice. On my way out the door the lady at the counter said this patch would last a good while and I may never have to get it repaired which was $150. Well this was not the case. Normally when I would come out in the morning I would have to put a little air in the tire to get me through the day because of the slow leak. After visiting Skid Marks the next morning I came out my car was sitting on the rim. Rather than visiting Skid Marks again I purchases a new rim for the car. And firestone place got angry when I told them I was going to get a second opinion. They told me to fix it myself they were rude. And I got tires from the firestone shop on burnside right before that which I wish I hadn't now I over paid for those when I actually researched it like I should have. Mr Fixit did it for the same price as if it was the front A/C and it wasn't any different or harder to do they told me I'm so glad I got that second opinion. They were so polite and I really trusted them until I just read a bad review but I see other reviews for Mr Fixit in Gonzales posted under other business and they are all four or five stars. I do not understand why they are not under the right business. It says their name on it.
