I stopped because they advertised chicken teriyaki. Well, there is no teriyaki, but there is pizza by the slice and chicken wings. For about 12 bucks, you get a decent sized slice of pizza, 4 buffalo wings and a fountain beverage. Pizza was comparable to Costco. I thought the wings were the questionable portion of the meal, but they were surprisingly moist and meaty. They didn't taste like bbq or buffalo, so I drowned them with ranch for flavor. Overall, I wouldn't say I was either impressed nor disappointed. I guess it's what I expected and sometimes that's okay. I'd stop in again, but I wouldn't make a habit of it. Great pizza and delivery. The Giant combo pizza feeds a lot of people and tastes good. They always deliver on time. I usually ask them to cook it extra time in the oven to make the crust crispy since it has so many toppings it tends to be a bit soggy sometimes. They open early at 7am which I also like. read more

I used to work across the street and this place was a highlight of working in that location. Not only do they have a monster pizza but they also have the best green chilaquiles! So good! I've been coming to this place since I was a kid. Aside from being a store that has almost every drink imaginable, their deli is awesome. They are one the few places where I can get pizza by the slice. They usually have a good variety of different topping pizza slices. The downside is that I think they should put out more cheese slices. read more

I have been ordering their large party pasta trays for years!!! Prices have gone up but not by much and it's still a good deal. I always get compliments on the food when I order from here. Each pasta tray comes with a large salad tray and large garlic bread tray! It's all you needfor your next event. Honestly don't know how this place has such good overall reviews. Maybe it's better for dinner rather than lunch.. My experience was rather subpar; Boyfriend got a Turkey Ham and Cheese. They forgot to put cheese on it. Macaroni salad was "meh" . I got a Teriyaki Bowl, chicken was rather tough, veggie were fresh though! I mean, I was stoked at how fresh. It was my first time here. I got half of a submarine sandwich that came with macaroni salad and a drink. The sandwich was average for the most part. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. The macaroni salad was pretty good I really enjoyed that. The girls that work there were really professional and friendly. I totally understand that there are a ton of people who work in Vernon (and adjacent) and only 3 reputable places to eat, but that doesn't mean our standards on quality food ratings should suffer! I heard about this place from co-workers and I was told I "HAD" to go there for lunch. So I went. 2x just to make sure I gave them a fair shot. And I feel like I should've saved my time and gas. The food is nothing special. Sandwiches are ok (I think I'd rather have a $5 footlong from Subway). Chicken wings chewy. Potato wedges stale. Pizza ... soggy. The only noteworthy thing is that they make a humongous 28" pizza that you can buy for a party. Does it look cool? Yes. Does it taste good? No. I love mom & pop stores and if I worked a little closer, I might give in on 2 stars and frequent this place a little more - but it's surely not worth a special trip. read more

I wouldn't say the food is amazing, but it does the job when it comes to lunch time. Get the spaghetti with meatballs and order it with no cheese! It's heavy enough and the cheese overpowers the spaghetti. The carne asada taco combo is good too - make sure to get the green sauce! They offer cup noodles, chips, snacks, drinks, and other items like plates, bowls, kitchen items and other little goodies. Yes, random, but these things come in handy once in a while! read more

My favorite is the chicken fettuccini. Few months ago they upgraded the restaurant seating area and added Japanese food- teriyaki, poke bowls, and sushi! I've tried a few rolls but the last roll I had here was the Vernon roll, the fish tasted fresh and I loved the yuzu sauce the it accompanied with it! Next time I'm going to try their poke bowl ! It's a nice change from pizza and pasta. With a very few places around here for food that's super close, Ben's is super convenient and the staff always greets me and is helpful.
