The shop has a lot of very beautiful pieces of local artists. In particular, their wood art is especially beautiful. And very pricey too! Most are made of Koa, like the $3,900 rocking chair. I really wish I had a place for this, and the big bucks to buy up and decorate my home with this beautiful art. Maybe in another lifetime (lol). Seriously, there is a lot of nice art work of here. If you want to take a home a special memory of Waipio Vally and the Big Island you should check out this shop. Oh, and there is also a small cafe to buy snacks and drinks. We had such a great stay here and would absolutely come back…read more We came with a big multigenerational family group, including kids, a baby, grandparents, and our nanny, and the house worked so well for all of us. It was spacious, comfortable, and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The open living area was especially great for hanging out together, and the kids loved the large community pool just steps away. The owners were also so kind and welcoming. Any issue that came up was quickly looked into and addressed, and we really appreciated how responsive and thoughtful they were. Even the little things, like having a baby crib and monitor, made a big difference and showed a lot of care. The home is clean, well maintained, and beautifully furnished. It really feels like a real home, not just a rental. We also loved how easy everything was -- the grocery store/market is just a few minutes away, and access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club was a huge bonus. Great snorkeling there too. This was such a wonderful home base for our trip, and we made great family memories here. We'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and beautiful place to stay on the Big Island!

The house was clean, big, in an amazing neighborhood, and extremely close to some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. We would ride bikes to the beach (5 min bike ride) and see turtles swimming and relaxing. They could've easily charged us extra for small things but instead they just took care of it all, making the whole process seamless. Extremely good pricing for all that was included and how easy everything was!
