During covid my partner and I have gotten into something we call Cheese O Clock every second Friday where we go to Les Amis and pick three different cheeses to try for the weekend. We pair the cheeses with some good wine and add chorizo or smoked salmon and it's quite a delight! Something that's certainly been a highlight during our stays at home during these times. The service is spectacular and they all know so much about cheese I love how if a cheese I like is out of stock they'll recommend one that's equally as great to me! She spent a good 20 minutes with me helping me decided on my list which ended up with: Applewood smoked cheddar (needed the basics), honey goat gouda, gorgonzola (blue cheese), morbier-livradoise (blue cheese mixed with a lighter creamier taste), bleu de sassenage (more blue!), quarto (60% cow's milk and 40% buffalo milk), white Stilton apple and pear and espresso cheese.
