The people in there are fantastic!! You can find many cheeses from around the world and there own Whatcom Blue which is subtle but so tasty.

Just wanted to say how much fun my husband and I had at Twin Sisters Creamery today. Tried and found several new and different cheeses to bring home. Did get some Pacific Northwest cheeses, cheeses from Holland, France and Italy. We are especially looking forward to trying the Mimolette French cheese. It is sitting on the counter to reach room temperature for tonight's dinner. Tonight will be a dinner of cheeses, sopressata, proscuitto and crackers. Oh ya, a bottle of wine and some Fig Spread will also be involved. Many thanks to the very knowledgeable and friendly Joyce for taking the time to spend time introducing us to new cheeses. Local cheese! While we didn't meet the sisters, the lady behind the counter was both tour guide and cheese monger. She was super friendly and a storyteller who quickly plied us with samples of her favorites. The cheese is local and really delicious. read more

Being a transplant from America's Dairyland (Wisconsin), I don't often seek out locally produced small batch cheese in Washington. I don't think of myself as a cheese snob, but maybe that's best for others to judge. That being said, many of the small WA producers seem to cater to the gourmet crowd, with specialty cheeses at premium prices . Twin Sisters, on the other hand, was such a pleasant surprise, being very unpretentious and down to earth. In other words, they were just making and selling darn good cheese. The blue cheese they're most known for was very creamy with an intense flavor. The others we tasted were very tasty as well. In addition to the four cheeses they make themselves, they also sell a variety of cheeses from other producers, both locally and outside of the area as well as specialty meats and other craft products. The service was super friendly and informative too. A great find and I was happy to learn their products are also available in the Seattle area at the fancier grocery stores. read more

Last Christmas, we received a very special gift basket that came from Twin Sisters. This year, we decided to visit for ourselves! At the time we arrived, we were the only customers in the store. The ladies there were so kind and helpful and very patient with our lists. They were able to ship cheese and other goodies out of state! They also can create beautiful gift baskets to pick up or in some cases, deliver! This is a beautiful store filled with so many delicious items and five star customer service! We felt so accomplished leaving with most of the people on our list Checked off and yet, we didn't do the work! Prices are extremely fair! We definitely will be back...and yes we grabbed some cheese for ourselves too!!! What a treat and so close to home!!! read more

I was in need of some cheese for our wine-tasting Yelp event, and wanted to feature local cheeses - I knew right where to go: Twin Sisters. We'd had an event there awhile back, and I knew it would be the best place to find a variety of local cheese for our tasting. The friendly lady at the counter knew just how to help me as I chose four distinct cheeses: their signature, made-in-house Whatcom Blue plus their equally delicious Farmhouse variety, a Caciota from Ferndale Farmstead Cheese, and a wedge of Beecher's Flagship. I also bought a jar of sour cherry jam and two boxes of thin wafer crackers. As expected the cheese was a big hit at our event, and I didn't have to break my budget to buy it - the entire feast came out to less than $50. I'm sure I would have spent way more had I gone elsewhere. Twin Sisters is my stop of choice from now on when I need a cheese fix. Plus it's cool to watch the cheese-makers in action while you're there! read more

Twin Sisters has been on our list for some time, but we never found ourselves there on a day they were open. The staff is lovely and they have a few of their own cheeses made in house as well as a number of local.and imported cheese selections. They also have classes, special events and tastings. Heard they had real cheese curds so HAD to stop in. What a bonanza! Could spend the day & a fortune here; name your cheese, they got it. Their Farmhouse Peppercorn had just won the ACS (American Cheese Society) award! The owner, Lindsey was welcoming & gracious in answering all questions & in her knowledge of the cheeses. Stopped by yesterday to support local businesses. We love to shop local. Every year we send items that are made locally to our relatives, this year we chose Twin Sisters Creamery for our cheeses. The ladies here were very friendly and knowledgeable. After sampling most of their cheeses we decided on their White and Peppercorn, as well as several from other makers. I am glad I dropped by this place. Nice, friendly service. They have windows so when they are making cheese, customers can see the process. They whipped up a plate of their cheeses for us to try and it had some crackers some sour cherry preserves. We had a fun informative visit and went home with a bag full of awesome cheeses to cook with. read more

Such a great shop. I got to meet the cheese maker and a lovely employee that talked about the cheeses and let me sample multiple items. They have cheeses that they make in house and you can see their setup, and they also have lots of international cheeses. This will definitely be a spot that I visit when in the area. This place is easy to find, bright, well lit, and very very clean. I love the windows that go through to where they are actually making the cheese. The cheese map showed only cow's milk cheese, but they also had some goat's milk cheeses in the case. The cheeses we sampled were delicious and the service was very friendly. My friend took me here as my birthday gift and what a great idea! We tasted numerous cheeses and had delicious wine. The owner, Lindsay, is a cheese expert-plain and simple. Their house made blue cheese is a taste treat. The wines they have available were chosen to go nicely with the cheeses.
