What a fun spot -- such a cool, diverse crowd and an easygoing vibe that instantly makes you feel welcome. Emily was excellent -- friendly, knowledgeable, and just genuinely nice. I sampled the T. Rex Peaches and the Blackberries & Cream beers. Two totally different flavor profiles, but both were so good that choosing just one felt like picking a favorite child. In the end, the T. This was probably one of the cutest breweries I've ever been to. I couldn't decide between all of the beer choices, so I ended up doing a flight which had five samples 4 ounces each. I decided to try the cherry lime gose, the quad, IPA #3, ODB and the red wine chocolate stout. They were all unique, but I really love the cherry lime gose. It was sour, but not too sour. The, red wine chocolate stout was also a stand out, very tasty and bold. There were a couple different areas that you could sit at, including a patio that was completely covered for winter. There was also a second bar when you first walk in but the main bar was probably my favorite area because it offered a more open space with the garage doors. There was all sorts of dinosaur art and sculptures throughout fossil Cove. It made for a good photo shoot. I would absolutely love to visit again if I'm ever in town. read more

I wanted a beer and what's better than a local brewery? Nothing when you're wanting a brewski. So I yelped for a brewery and off I went. This place is really cute with a bar area in the front that they rarely use and a bigger bar area with couches, tables, etc. They have quite a few beers (13 at the moment) along with coffee and tea. Fossil Cove is my favorite Brewery in Fayetteville. The staff and the beers are excellent!! It one of the places that feels comfortable anytime they are open. The two food trucks are both great. Wicked Woodfired Pizza is open on every day except Monday. The Uncommon Eggroll truck is open on Monday and most days earlier in the day. Saturday and Sunday are fantastic days for breakfast at Uncommon. They serve biscuits and sausage gravy on waffle fries. That's not the only offering but is their best seller. Egg rolls are great but I like to have my waffle fries with cheese, green peppers and mushrooms. With two eggs. Great breakfast!! read more

What a great find!!! Our intent was to grab some pizza at Wicked Woodfired and we stumbled upon Fossil Cove. So of course we had to get some beer with our pizza (as one does). I tried the Birch Ave Blonde and it was pretty good. On my next visit I got the Limd Song and that was a great surprise. I'm craving another pint of that. The atmosphere is chill and just relaxing. Best Brewery in town. IMO this is the best brewery out of about five or so i've tried in the area. Fossil Cove just makes really decent and some are quite STRONG beers (8-10%... sometimes higher!) This place has all sorts of decor and its fun just to look at all the wacky stuff on the walls here when it hits you lol. The people here are always cool and having conversations that are fun to listen in on. La Brea Brown has been my favorite. read more

This was a fun spot just off poplar street in Fayetteville. Almost like a little hidden gem. My brother and his wife were in town and enjoy micro brews so we are trying to give them a taste of NWA. This was a recommendation and our first stop. The tried IPA #3 first and did not care for it too much. They then tried the paleo ale and of had a smooth taste. We got a growler before we headed to the lake house for the weekend! They do have a relaxed sitting area and pool table in the back. Definitely a small operation but we loved it. The tap room is little more than a space in a metal building off the brew space. We still loved it. The vibe was great. Reminded me a lot of Santa Fe brewing in New Mexico. A lot of the staff and patrons alike were watching the NCAA tournament. As soon as the game was over you could distinguish who was who as four or five workers went back to the brewery. :) Loved the colors and the beer steins! They have a few varieties in cans for sale. Love these NWA breweries. This one has a small tasting room, a nice outdoor picnic bench area, and is pet friendly. All the beers are pretty good representations of the intended style and a good variety is on hand and all are priced well (nothing over $5). The location makes it a younger hangout than the other breweries, so more coeds playing board games than professionals hanging after work, but it's a friendly vibe for everyone. A couple of non-alcoholic options (home brewed sassafras?) other than water, more space and some simple snacks available all the time would make this a big winner. read more

I am pregnant, but they have a variety of La Croix products as well as root beer and Pepsi if you ask! Visited this during a biking trip to the area! LOVED the location - so easy to get here off the bike trail. Surprisingly - there was no bike rack to lock up our bikes (we're from a city!). The staff was really friendly - and they still do samplers despite COVID (another brewery did not on our trip). The vibe and seating was outstanding and sad we weren't hungry for the pizza.
