Really miss having them as my full time pharmacy but I am one of the few.. working on it! Our RX wasn't filled by Walgreens due to a Pharm who decided she "wasn't comfortable" filling what the Dr ordered even tho they had provided the same medication 3 times YTD, approved by Insurance, and strongly encouraged by Physician. (It was ridiculous and Ben recognized that.) He stepped up and filled within same day. His communication was exceptional & his attitude incredibly empathetic & professional; he took a proactive role in getting the Rx transferred. The employees are usually friendly, helpful, and provide excellent customer service, which is why Publix is my favorite grocery store. Unfortunately, my experience at this particular location today was disappointing. When I asked the deli employee if I could purchase popcorn chicken by weight and have about half a cup filled, she responded very rudely and told me they don't do that and that I had to buy one of the pre-filled large cups. I understand that different stores or departments may have different policies, and I had no problem buying the larger cup instead. My concern wasn't the policy--it was the way I was treated. At every other Publix I've visited, the deli staff has gladly filled the amount I requested and sold it by weight, so I was surprised by both the response and the attitude. I simply believe customers should be treated with kindness and respect, even when the answer is no. I hope management can remind their staff that courteous customer service is one of the things that makes Publix stand out. I know this experience isn't typical of the excellent service I've received at other Publix locations.

I waited through the drive through for a good 20 minutes just to be told if I want to use my goodRX I have to circle around and wait in line again. When I finally got up to SHYLIN, she told me I'd have to step over to another line. At this point I was frustrated so I said "this is ridiculous. Just charge me full price. Whatever." SHYLIN took it upon herself to interrupt my conversation to very rudely say "i LITERALLY told you to go right over there there is NO line." This caught me off guard as I wasn't speaking to her so when I let her know she shouldn't be talking to me like that she proceeded to tell me I'm VERY rude. I continued to tell her that her disrespect was unnecessary and asked to speak to her manager. While in Florida I do not shop at any other grocery markets. Just before the hurricane I purchased 6 individual packages of ground beef, 3 went into the freezer and 3 in fridge. The date to use by was 8/31. I went to the fridge pulled the meat to cook and all 3 pkges were already spoiled and starting to stink. That was barely 3 days in the fridge. Over the last year I have had many pkges of hamburger and beef roast go bad. Along with pork loins and pork chops. The employees at Publix's are wonderful, friendly and very helpful. I'm not happy about having to go every day to get meat because it goes bad so quickly. I'm almost 70, I have a difficult time walking and I do not feel like going out every day. I do look at the 'sell by' dates. So this week $30 of what should have been good hamberger,thrown out.
